My kids will be 10 and 8. Amateur gymnasts who enjoy flipping. We have only a small courtyard and whilst I know the compact oval would be a better size, is the compact round suitable for flips for this age group? Space is a premium unfortunately.

my kids are 8 and 5(nearly 6), if they both on the trampoline, there is no way for them to do flips, jumping only, even with only one 10 years old kid I still quite doubt if there is enough room to do the flipping comfortably. My trampoline is Middle compact oval.

Hi Louise,
We don't recommend flipping on the trampoline for safety reasons however we have found that our customers who have gymnasts prefer the oval shape to practice. If at all possible i would recommend trying to get to one of our displays so you are able to see the size and the kids can test jump the trampoline. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us on 1800 586 772

My question relates to the new 10 year warranty. After reading reviews, I am concerned with the durability of the product and the countless customer service issues highlighted. I am particularly concerned with numerous complaints that have been made about problems customers have experienced after a few years and the responses from springfree that the warranty had expired (after only a few years??) - I would have expected Australian Consumer Law to protect consumers over and above any terms and conditions that might be stated at time of purchase given that it would be reasonable to expect a product costing what these trampolines cost to last longer than a few years and that a statutory warranty would apply?? So, can you confirm that the new 10 year warranty is absolute and will cover any product issues in that time period and please specify exactly what (if anything) is not covered? Also, what has changed with the product that has enabled you to offer a longer warranty?? Many thanks

Hi Connor, The new 10 year warranty is on trampolines purchased from September 2017 onwards. This covers each component of the trampoline from manufacturers defects for a period of 10 years from date of purchase. Please note that the ten year warranty is for the trampoline, not any accessories purchased. The warranty does not cover misuse or damage caused through lack of maintenance and shipping and assembly costs are not included as part of the warranty.
Our trampolines are designed and manufactured for outdoor use, and we are always looking for ways to improve our product and service including UV protection and protection against the elements to ensure that our product will last.
Should you require any further information, please contact our Customer Care team on 1800 586 772 to discuss our warranty.

My knee-jerk reaction, you should be suspicious about their warranty and post purchase customer service. We are disappointed and I wish I had the time and energy to take them to authorities. Older models were made with some low grade components - much lower than the price point would suggest you could reasonably expect. Owners of some older (not very old, guessing 2010 to 2015) units who supported the company and allowed them to prosper have issues with their purchases that the company is turning their back on. A component (not fit for purpose) breaks down and the knock-on effect pretty much results in a right off. Customer service is the ‘heading towards a NO in a blunt fashion’ type rather than an ‘appreciative, heading toward a yes’ type that I believe we should expect, given the cost of their products. Our concerns within warranty period were dismissed, despite the same issue being acknowledged outside warranty, when we were told it was too late to claim.
All of that said and though it pains me, a 10 year warranty is a serious statement that they have used my money and improved. Had ours been under warranty that long (or even half that) and customer service been fair, I would have no reason to be an unhappy customer.
We loved ours while it worked but now feel it was terrible value for money and on principle we would buy another brand.
Thanks for the POV I’m going to avoid the risk given all the concerns raised and go with a different brand.
