Awful. Unfit for purpose
Bought with the express purpose of processing veggie garden waste. Completely unfit for purpose.
Chokes up constantly. The blades fill up with material and it stops feeding. Lasts about 30 seconds before you need to detach the bin and pull the jammed material out from underneath, despite the reverse gear option.
Awful awful awful.
May possibly be ok if you only ever have dry, long dead sticks.

No problems so far
Bought a barely used 2nd hand one today. So far I've found it easy to manoeuvre and start, it's quiet and it did a great job. I had a huge pile of garden waste that normally would be taken to the tip. It all went through one after the other, until the tub was pretty much full. No issues and it was a mix of varying sized drying palm fronds and newly snipped greenery from other trees and bushes. So far I'm thrilled with my purchase!

The typical content from our yard is small to medium sized branches, lots of leafy material, combinations of harder and softer material. None larger than the 35mm specified.
Having considered Stihl a good brand and being attracted to the clover design feeder we thought it would sui...
Read moret our needs better than the Ryobi. Its chute entry is smaller and found it hard to get branches with leaves to feed through. We have been terribly disappointed and really should have purchased the Ryobi. They're several aspects of this machine that are troublesome or just do not work. The Cons --
