OK
Good value for money - it's definitely miles ahead of other grinders available at a similar price.
Having said that, I do regret not spending another $100 or so and getting a better grinder.
Looks very nice (especially sitting next to a matching Sunbeam espresso machine!)
Best grinder in its price bracket
Auto-closing doors on the hopper are a nice touch!
Easy to disassemble for cleaning
Grind 'steps' are quite large - difficult to fine tune the correct grind size for espresso
Grinds tend to form clumps
Grinds tend to be static charged
It's quite messy (to say the least)

Excellent
Only bought this yesterday but am very excited and happy. The grind took a little bit of adjusting but it's so easy to do so with a little bit of twisting here and there. Produces the most amazing result in grinding beans, I can't believe that I was conned into buying a multi grinder to start with. Have been getting beautiful extractions all morning and can't wait to make the next coffee now that I have the right equipment.
I love it! Grinds very nicely, looks great on the bench next to coffee machine
There are none yet!

Terrible
Seems like a potentially good machine is let down by plastic that is not up to the quality required. Thus as poor rating as it n o longer works and for >$200 I would expect better,
It looks like it is a quality appliance.
The Grind Adjustment Collar plastic stopped fitting into place after only five uses which essentially redendered the appliance useless

Good
Bought the EM0480 to match an EM6910. It does the job well at settings 13-15. The grind setting collar has a bit of free play, but one can easily adapt for a consistent grind. It is reasonably easy to clean the outside, and to take it down to clean the burrs. It is a killer product for the street prices, a bit less so for RRP, but you have to spend a $100 or more, more to get something better. Nothing comes close at the price point,
Well priced, decent quality, easy to clean, hopper comes off without having to empty beans, it works, on-but...Read more
ton pushed by the portafilter, rubber mat useful for putting the portafilter on for tamping, looks good. Can be messy when the air is very dry, the setting collar has some free play, the trap doors on the hopper do not always close when you take the hopper off for a cleaning.

Generally good value for money for the quality & consistency of the grind it produces. Streets ahead of any multi-purpose blade grinder. Large size offset by good looks & build quality.
Able to grind directly into group head when switch is set to on demand. 24 grind settings make it easy to get the right consistency. Easy to adjust & produces consistent results. Hopper easily removed to access & clean burr grinders. Good build quality.
Fairly large in size.

Compared to my Gaggia MDF it is quicker, quieter and probably produces a better espresso.Great value for money for the prosumer.
Yes it comes out of China(though the conical burr set is Italian apparently),but is suprisingly well constructed and most importantly produces excellent quality grinds. The silicon spout cover is a quite new addition and keeps mess to a minimum.

Good
I have had the unit since Feb this year. Had to take the 1st one back as the grinder used to stop and start as the bean hopper vibrated from side to side. It was replaced without a problem, and the new one has been pretty good. Had a problem with a bit of ground bean interfering with the interlock, so the machine wouldn't start. Overall though, has to be the best unit in the price range on the market. I have purchased a couple more for Christmas presents.
Consistent grind size so easy to fine tune for my espresso machine. Looks great, especiall...Read more

Because I've got this, I can make excellent espresso shots with my $100 Sunbeam Ristretto machine. The crema I get out of it is amazing. I'd buy another, although it looks like this one is going to last me a long time - I've had it two years, used it at least daily, and it still looks almost new.
Great value for money, high quality components, easy to maintain, and consistent grind with excellent coffee output.
Not a thing.

I can’t be sure what is the cause of your problem but I had some issues with my grinder cutting out and just cleaned, refitted the coffee basket and it worked. Please check if your PowerPoint is working by trying a working appliance if so follow the manuals cleaning instructions make sure when refitting the basket it has been firmly replaced. You can also ring Sunbeam they have staff who can give advice and access their technical database. Best of luck

For those getting too coarse a grind, it is poor quality control. To adjust the grinder for a finer grind beyond what you are getting spacers need to be added under the lower burr. These spacers cost about $3 each on ebay, but should really be in the box with grinder along with the instructions to remove the burrs. It is quite easy to do, but you shouldn't have to and I have read where people dismantle more than what is needed and never get it back together. As a matter of good customer service Sunbeam should send everyone who owns their grinders free spacers. They will email you the instructions if you call them, but they should do more. You may have to mention the spacers etc or they may not want to bring it up as it shows they know your grinder is not fit for the purpose as supplied.
If you do it just add one spacer more than what is there and start on coarse grind setting and move to a finer setting the first time you use it. If not fine enough add another spacer and repeat. (Max 4 spacers)
This adjustment is to counter burr wear and adjustment should be built into the machine external settings.
