case broke after first use
Purchsed this, made lovely pies however when cooking for the first time case split. I can only assume this was caused by heati, Sunbeam have declined replacement/refund as they have never seen it happen before.
However in the ten minutes prior to cracking we were very pleased with it.
Was surpised at the high cost, however that could be becuase we purchased it from Harvy Norman
It made nice pies,
Expensive, No warrenty service

This is the best pie maker! I love it!!
Non stick so pies pretty much slide out.
Can make both savoury and sweet pies with or without a top pastry lid (I.e shepherds pie with mash potato on top..yuummm)
Pies finish between 5-7 mins
Non stick, inexpensive, 4 pies at a time
Pies are a little small

Pie making is made very easy with this product. IT is easy to clean also. I started with the Pie Magic 2 Up and had to upgrade to this one as the pies were so much in demand in my family. Love how versatile it is. You can make pies for main meal or as a dessert. Great non stick coat so pies don't get stuck in it and tear. Would highly recommend this product to other people.
This is a great product from a well trusted brand. It is also reasonably priced.
Nothing that I could realy think of.

We love this pie maker and the kids just love them. They freeze well so we always have a healthy quick dinner on hand. Can't wait to experiment more with the sweet fillings and with gluten free pastry.
Pies look really great and it's so easy to make healthy dinners.

Makes the most professional pies. This is one the best appliances I have bought. So easy to use and the kids can have a go at making their creations as well. The pie maker has a fantastic non stick coating and the pies can be lifted out with NO effort at all. You have control over how dark you want the pie crust by opening the unit to check if its cooked to your liking. Makes good quiches too. Works well with both shortcrust and puff pastry.
It bakes really quickly and the crust is evenly browned and well cooked on the top and base.

its easy to clean and fits nicely in a cupboard.
you are only limited by your imagination to what you can make.
these are very popular and you only have to google to find insperation on new fillings.
left over roasts, spaghetti etc are all nice in pies.
simple eggs and bacon could turn into anice breakfast pie.

The pies are excellent - crisp pastry etc - great (with a bit of supervision) for kids to make their own snacks on sleepovers - dampers and muffins cook well too. Wouldn't be without it - actually have bought a second one so I can have a major pie cook up wen needed
Quick, easy, makes great pies & quiches

My Sunbeam 4piemaker says it's ready, when it hasn't even heated up

I submitted this same question last weekend but have not received a reply.
My pie maker was purchased on 5/1/18. It has been used four times but I still cannot get the tops to cook. The pastry is soggy. Have been sticking to the instructions ie half cup of filling.

I find it works best if you use shortcrust pastry on the bottom and puff pastry on the top. If you are doing that already maybe its the brand of pastry that you are using (unless you are making your own).
I have always used the same pastry and the first few times I used it, it worked fine, the last couple of times it hasn't. so not sure what can be wrong have used it about 6 times and last 3 times have failed.
