Terrible
We bought this a month ago. It was great for the first two times we used it. The third time it starting burning and we have not been able to turn it on again. Will definitely return after this pandemic is over but really sad we won’t have popcorn in the meantime.
Purchased in February 2021 at Myer.

Burns popcorn every time
Bought two popcorn makers, one to replace our old Kambrook that we wore out and one for my brother and his family as a Christmas present . It’s terrible! Burns the popcorn every time. Leaves half the popcorn in the bottom unpopped and black. Doesn’t have enough power to blow the popcorn out and takes too long to pop, which is maybe the reason it starts to burn. Will try and return this to The Good Guys for a refund but Sunbeam you need to know that this popcorn maker does not work very well at all.
Purchased in December 2021 at The Good Guys for A$29.00.

Overcooks Popcorn, Doesn't Come Out Of Shoot, Doesn't Pop All Corn
I recently replaced the one I bought a few years ago with a new one because the old one blew up after warranty had run out (yes it went "bang" and smoke started pouring out of it). The difference in quality compared to the previous one is astounding -but it's the same model number. The motor is a lot less powerful, because it is a lot quieter and as a result it takes 3 times as long to cook the popcorn, there is a 5 minute allowable use time, but it doesn't cook within 5 minutes at all. and leaves the rest in the bottom and has turned it dark brown. It overcooks the popcorn that it does manage to pop (goes dark brown in the centre and has powdery texture not crisp), and because the popcorn doesn't get blown out of the chamber due to lack of power, or it gets stuck in the chamber, again due to lack of power, it gets cooked for longer than it should be, and the popcorn clogs up the shoot and so continues to get overcooked and doesn't go into the bowl like it should. The second one I had was that bad that I took it back for a refund, but then couldn't find another one anywhere, so I stupidly bought another one hoping the issue had been fixed, it was the same issue as the last, and after 3 months it stopped working and had a burning electrical smell, so I got it replaced under warranty, and that one is even worse than the third one. I'm on my 4th machine now. Sunbeam just keeps replacing it under warranty, they won't refund. But the quality gets worse with each one I get as a replacement. I do not recommend this product.

Great Value. Makes perfect popcorn in minutes.
Great product. Paid only $24.46 from Myers eBay store with free delivery. Very impressed with it. Made very nice delicious popcorn. Perfect with barely any wastage.Healthy fat free, sugar free and salt free and chemical free. This is unbeatable value! Sale on eBay store is still active. Grab a bargain.

Very Happy
I bought this as a healthier option and find it easy to use and clean. Doesn't take long to cook the popcorn and you can add whatever you like for topping. Its not saturated in butter and salt but again the aim was for a healthier option. I like it and my kids eat it so mission accomplished.

Disappointing
A nice looking machine but very loud and noisy (I've had others that are very much quieter). The machine also leaves a burnt taste on the popcorn probably because it doesn't eject the popcorn quickly enough. Returned it to retailer for a refund. Unfortunately I would definitely not recommend this product.
