Best frypan i've ever owned
I am very suprised to see so many negative reviews. I've had my Swiss Diamond fry pan for almost 6 years and it is still going strong. Not once has anything stuck to it or have i had trouble cleaning it.
I highly recommend Swiss Diamond after having had other expensive/supposedly high quality brands that have not lasted anywhere near as long.

Big promises. Poor performance and lies.
Skillet worn out with normal wear. Warranty useless. No service. Now I find out that store owner lied and pan IS Teflon!

A very bad product !!!!
I decided on trying out a Swiss Diamond 28cm fry pan. I have 6 Teflon coated Scan Pans of various sizes, so am well aware of the limitations of Teflon coated pans. Its now been a year of infrequent use. I don't use it that often as I prefer frying with the Stainless Steel Pans with the higher heat. It cooks well, has no scratches and at first glance looks almost new except on closer inspection it now has developed numerous bubbles that are small pin head sized, that if you scratch them with your finger nail leaves it pitted, the teflon comes away.
I would never ever recommend this companys products to anyone. For your health and wallet stay well clear.

Swiss Diamond induction up to the challenge
I recently received my 20cm trial induction fry pan. I have previously used Swiss Diamond exclusively for my non stick cookware needs. I have always rated them very highly and when I changed to Induction, I was devastated to have to start again. After much deliberation, I acquired a small pan as a trial.
I have used it extensively for about a month, and so far it has performed at least as well as the non induction pans I have used for many years, with excellent results. I ordered my second trial pan this week, a 32cm fry pan. Time will tell, but if these pans perform as well as those before induction, I will, once again be keeping only Swiss Diamond.
Non stick and overall quality of construction
Nothing to date

Dreadful dangerous handle design
Cooking surface still in very good condition after about 4 years and if this were not the case I would have thrown the frying pan away in disgust and frustration
Shortly after purchase the handle became loose and fell off, could have been a very dangerous situation
Screw holding handle on was too short and stripped internal thread on pan
Contacted australian agent, they were aware of problem and sent longer screw, for which I waited many months
Ok for a while but longer screw has stripped out deeper part of thread and handle has come o...Read more

No Problems Yet
Swiss Diamond has failed most people reviewing these products. But we have had a much more positive experience with the 24cm sauté pan we bought 18 months ago. So many bad reviews can't be wrong, but we'll tell you our experience anyway.
The inner surfaces of the Swiss Diamond sauté pan are in good shape even though used 3-4 times each week. On close inspection, the inner bottom has a few very minor utensil marks and some pinholes -- the pinholes might be the beginning of future problems but no sticking yet. The outer sides are in very good ...Read more
shape. The pan's outer bottom doesn't look like new due to frequent exposure to the gas flames, but no apparent damage yet. The pan is used by both older and young adults in our family (meaning that it is probably not always used with the care described below.) This pan seems to heat efficiently and evenly, judging from the speed and distribution of bubbling in the sauces. Also, as one family member mentioned this week, the pan cleans easily (no sticky bits). We always wash our pans by hand and preferably without scrub brushes. To put this experience in context, about the time we bought the Swiss Diamond, we also bought two Analon Advance frypans (20cm and 28cm) and two Cuisinart sauce pans (16cm and 18cm). They replaced Circulon frypans and sauce pans, which lasted about 3-4 years. Both Analon frypans now stick to some extent and the Cuisinart sauce pans have significant scratch marks on the inner bottom (although the Cuisinart sauce pans don't seem to stick yet). Why have we had a better experience with our Swiss Diamond sauté pan than have other reviewers with their products? Could be the type of cooking -- we mainly use our pan to cook soft meats (chicken breast chunks, shelled seafood) and sauces (marinara, spaghetti). We (the parents) bought our first hard anodized pan back in 1985 (the original Circulon, I recall). So, we learned from many failures that these products (a) get ruined at higher temperatures and (b) do scratch. The Swiss Diamond sauté pan seems to be more scratch resistant than most (absolutely no visible inner marks yet), but most of us use only wood and nylon utensils, and don't use the pan to cook meats with bones (e.g. no T-bone steaks). We also keep the heat fairly low (usually below halfway on the dial). No sticking...yet. Only minor utensil marks and a few pinholes on inner bottom. Efficient and good distribution heating. Very easy to clean. Expensive.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Swiss Diamond pans
Rubbish ! I "invested" in 3 med to very large sized frypans, and followed all the instructions, including not using high heat and never using olive oil. Even though metal utensils are apparently okay, I did not use these either, taking as much caution as possible to look after over $500 of cookware which was meant to last a lifetime. 12 - 18 months later all 3 started to look old and grotty, despite thorough cleaning. Now, after only 2 years of use, all 3 appear burnt, scratched, and look 100 years old. The 2 most frequently used ones are also ...Read more
buckled. I sent the worst one away to the company, and only after several emails and phone calls because of lack of interest, did I have it returned weeks later with a hand scribbled note from a rep, accusing me of misuse, and in particular using high heat and incorrect oil ! They refused to replace or refund, blaming me for the state of this very expensive, now useless cookware. What a joke ! Shame on you Swiss Diamond, products are terrible and customer service is even worse ! The original promise of virtually being indestructible and lasting a lifetime, "worth the huge outlay for years of service" Everything ! It was worse than a $20 supermarket pan in terms of performance and longevitySimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

poor quality for the price
I have 3 pans and although they were fine briefly they became pretty much useless as a non stick pan and one has even chipped. Very disappointed with them and has put me off any non stick pans.I think I might go back to my great grans cast iron one as it is less trouble to clean than Swiss diamonds are. They don't live up to the sales pitch and aren't worth the money.

Shocking warranty service
Warranty used to be through retailer but now direct through SwissDiamond. Bought 2 pans of different sizes because the sales person recommended them but have had trouble with both. I definitely would not waste money & buy this brand again. Sent email and photos directly to company as requested but no response.
Handles fell off both pans and they are not non stick, as was advertised. Overpriced and under performance.

Worst non stick pan ever!
I don't want to say too much other than.... Don't buy this brand... Expensive and overrated. Surface bubbled and pealed within 1 month of normal use... Tried to return under lifetime warranty.... To no avail because the distributer has changed and won't honour warranties... So much for a lifetime warranty...
Nothing... Buy any other brand
It pains me to say almost everything

Swiss Diamond Made with diamond crystal more crystal than diamond
Diamond crystal the hardest material known to man !!! If so i don,t no what part of there pans they used it on. The none stick surface marks far to easily, like most of the other comments these swiss diamond pans are not of the quality that the company would have you believe. If you wanted replacement pans under warranty it does literally take months. We seasoned our pans as directed used low heat and use no metal items to cook with. We were told because of the diamond crystal coating if we wanted to use steel items to cook with it would not ha...Read more

Don't waste your money! I'm going to throw mine in the bin
I am so disappointed. Initially when I purchased this product I was so impressed with it. I was able to cook numerous dishes without any sticking at all. When we upgraded to an induction cooker I was unable to use them on it, but kept them for use on a gas cooker we have. I just found out today that these are basically the very overpriced equivalent of Teflon (being that yucky material that leeches poison into your food as soon as it is exposed to heat). To think of all those meals our family ate from this awful product! Their advertising is v...Read more

Swiss Diamond non-stick frypan flops
I was initially so impressed with this frypan that I bought a second for my son. AFter about 6 months of careful use (no metal utensils, no dishwasher) the surface started pitting and looked like a knife had been stabbed into the surface. In contrast to the advertised "lifetime guarantee" of a "virtually indestructible" pan that could withstand 260 degrees in an oven (which I didn't test), the manufacturers refused to honour the warranty. Indeed the photo I sent off to the manufacturer did show a pitting, and in the end it becomes your word aga...Read more
inst theirs regarding usage. Despite being able to withstand 260 degrees in an oven, the manufacturer only recommends it being used on low to medium heat!! Anyhow, I know I won't be purchasing any Swiss Diamond products again. Can anyone recommend a good non-stick frypan?? apart from it being not suitable for the purpose, it was relatively light and appeared to be of good quality expensive and only lasted 6 monthsSimilar opinion? Worst product out
I bought a 32 cm swiss diamond fry pan about a year ago and the first time I used it I noticed it had scratched and I only used plastic utensils only and now it has started to stick and I am not happy as I just read everyone's reviews and they are saying that 19 people have cooked on too higher heat when they have all cooked the same way as me and we have all read the instructions properly.
I like the size and the fact it was suppose to have a lifetime guarantee.
The fact that it scratched the first time I used it and is now sticking.

Limited Lifetime Warranty?
I bought a set of swiss diamond from chefs hat, south melbourne in 2006. They haven't had a lot of use because we travel often but lately i have been really disappointed with the large frying pan. I cooked scrambled eggs and then realised it had all stuck to the pan. It required soaking to remove. This was a first. I had not used the pan in any different way.
The following day a pancake completely stuck to the pan. Very surprising as the non stick surface had always worked.
Also the handles became loose way too quickly.

I chucked it in the bin
This whole "indistructible" line is the biggest crock. After my sautee pan stopped being non-stick (after a few short months of cooking steaks etc) I just threw it away. I have a little pan that I purchased when the big one was still working and with very infrequent use on a low heat this one is still ok.
It doesnt last like they promise

My Swiss Diamond Prestige cast casserole has been dreadful. I follow the cooking and cleaning I instructions but most everything I cook burns at the bottom of the pot. I’ve just had to throw out the marmalade I was cooking because it caught so badly on the bottom of the pot the marmalade was burnt. I can’t believe I paid such a high price for such poor quality. I thought cast iron would be tough. Apparently not.

I have a casserole i use frequently and love. I have never used it for jams though. It is probably 10 years old and still as new.
Hi Joan. Thank you got your response. My pot is under 12 months old and now I can’t clean the surface so the pot is now worthless. I am so disappointed with this purchase. Maybe the cookware was better quality 10 years ago. Regards
