Lifetime Warranty - Forget about it!
I spent my hard earned cash on a Swiss Diamond pan 6 months ago at the Chef's Hat in South Melbourne. A month later when the pan turned black all over and the enamel started to flake off the underside of the pan I assumed I'd take back the faulty product and all would be fixed. How wrong was I? Chef's Hat flicked me to the distributors and the distributors Bambis Imports Pty Ltd have insisted that we used the pan on too high a heat which is incorrect. And they have refused to replace it.
overpriced, shocking after sales service

So called u beaut pans
My wife bought a full set of these so called great pans . yes they were great in the begining but am disgusted at the aftersales service for they started cracking to me they are usless now except for one that dosnt get used very often .
They have already replaced at least two under warranty but still am waiting for one more to be replaced for they have had it for over 4 months now the ones they did replace we had to wait 2 months so i dont know what they expect you to cook in for $3000 consumer affairs is looking good now

Not what you pay for
I bought a few swiss diamond pots and pans. When i first use my casserole pot on the first day, it had deep scratches and dents from me flipping a piece of meat with a pair of metal tongs that barely touched its surface. Its suppose to be metal utensil safe and i have used it on a gas stove at medium heat as per instructions. Ive since returned it for assessment and have been told its not covered as the recommendations for use has not been followed. It says that i have not used it on low to medium heat! That is so NOT true! If i cant even use a...Read more
pot on medium heat without worrying if i would scratch and dent it with metal utensils (which Swiss Diamond claims its metal utensil safe) then what good is it?? I also noticed its suppose to be oven safe yet when i put it in the oven at 180degrees, the whole kitchen stinks of melted plastic fumes and my eyes tear up! Its definitely not what it claims to be able to handle in the advertising! Good non-stick surface and easy to clean. Not oven safe. Dents and scratches easily at medium heat.1 comment
I have had the same issue. The Australian distributor takes no responsibility. Absolute cop-out.

Tough as diamonds....NOT!
As stated in manufacturers care instructions 'Do not heat over a medium heat!' If you are only intending on slow cooking food on a low heat then this range is for you. I bought swiss diamond 5 years ago and took very good care of it. Just recently the non-stick coating started to peel off and according to swiss diamond the warranty is void if you heat the pans over medium (And they know this if the bottom is not shiny silver anymore).
So, if you are looking to cook anything on a medium to high heat - Forget it!
I bought a set of scan pan recently to replace swiss diamond and it cost half the price and does the same job - except I CAN use it on high heat!
Not true to the advertised "virtually indestructible non-stick cooking surface"

Sounds great! Not as promised.
Non-stick doesn't last long.
Warranty not been awarded.

Worse Fry pan Ever!
Bought a 28" Swiss Diamond fry pan from Peter's of Kensington. The coating cracked & chip after 2 months used. And bought the pan back to the shop. But the shop refused and said it was general worn out. It cost $150 and only last two months only. I am really upset the after service of Peter's kensington and Swiss Diamond. Didn't heard from them until I called the shop after the pan returned for 3 weeks.
Nothing is good
Heavy, expensive, chip after 2 moths use. It is not life warranty as it advertise.

Swiss Diamond Pots and Pans
Four months ago we revamped our kitchen with all new appliances and decided to do away with all our old and warped pots. After looking at a lot of brands we finally settled on Swiss Diamond. They proclaim to be superb, but I honestly feel they are just ok. My husband is not happy at all with them - they have curved sides from the bottom up and this plays havoc when cooking on a gas flames. I think they are ok, but definately not worth the high cost and it seems to take quite a while for them to heat up. The best feature is the non-stick co...Read more
ating - we never need to use oil now and they are easy to clean. After having a pot of pea and ham soup stewing away for hours on the stove, the pots were still simple to clean - all they needed was an easy rinse out with warm soapy water. Great Pan-worth every penny!
This pan was given to me because whenever I made pancakes they stuck. It was quite expensive by my standards but I am now saving to get a whole set of swiss diamond pans. This pan heats evenly, quickly and seems to cook well at lower temperatures than my other pans. It is also ok to use metal implements on it (they don't recommend all the time though). I love this as my hubby is forever using a fork to stir and turn things and now I don't have to worry about the pan in his hands. My pancakes never stick now and I have reduced the amount of oil I use.

You have to pay for this quality

This is simply not true... We wanted to love these pans and spend a lot on quality, but these pans are shocking and dangerous as the coating peels. You obviously only make pancakes once every 6 months!

Diamond price, cut glass support and quality
I needed to replace an old, cheap enamel casserole, so bought an 8-litre Swiss Diamond pot, at considerable expense. It performed quite well, although shortly after new, the coating at the rim started to flake away, something I have since been told is normal. It always held the odour of the food cooked in it, but this was a minor issue, since we predominantly used it for stews. After about 3 years, the interior coating started to blister and bits fell off. Not wanting to feed my family diamond-encrusted teflon, I returned the pot early in May t...Read more
his year for a warranty claim. I've had to make all the running in the 3 months since then, and finally, I received a replacement in the wrong size, and the people I am dealing with are in denial, making for another battle. The cookware itself performs okay, although to have the interior coating fail as badly as it has, on a pot that retails for well over $200 is dreadful. (Who wants to pick diamond-encrusted telon out of their food?) To find there is tantamount to no support for the product makes it a very, very bad buy. We have some (Circulon) cookware that has lasted for nearly 20 years and is still non-stick; so too our Scanpan is outperforming it in terms o durability. Neither of these brands are in the same price point as the Swiss Diamond. Like others here, I'd suggest avoidance is by far the best action to take. There are many, many excellent brands of cookware on the market, They can be no worse than this brand, and must have better support. Easy to clean. Exceptionally poor quality, even worse support. Horrifically overpriced.2 comments

Once again we apologise for the experience encountered with this problem being resolved.I have a similar issue with several of my Swiss diamond products. Stop wasting your money on Scanpan because the TV Chefs use it (only because scanpan sponsors them to!). Swiss Diamond will stay non stick and easy to clean for many many years, used according to manufacturers instructions. :)
PS: i am NOT affiliated with Swiss diamond - I married a Chef who has used and abused every pan I have owned - except these ones!

Best Frypan ever owned!
I've had my 28cm Swiss Diamond frypan for well over 4 years now and it's still cooking to perfection every time! I am baffled as to why anyone wouldn't be happy with their Swiss Diamond product - it satisfies me every time I cook with it! I hardly ever use oil as it's not needed and it's so easy to clean - just warm soapy water and a soft sponge - do NOT use a brush or anything abrasive as this will damage it and cause your pan to deteriorate quickly. It's really not needed... hot water and sudsy sponge is all that is required as all food remains slide off. :)
Reliable, non-stick, easy to clean, cooks perfect omelette every time!
They can be pricey - just shop around for a sale! Worth every dollar!

Over priced, over stated non stick properties.
It promised be the last pan I would need to buy because the surface was so tough. Not so after a couple of years it started to bubble and peel. Took it back to where I bought it but they weren't interested in holding it for the rep to check because they said I had burnt it and Swiss wouldn't replace it. I have other brands of non stick pans that cost less than half what this did and have had more use and are in better condition. I have to send this pan back to the Melbourne distributor for assessment. Even if they replace it I wouldn't recommen...Read more
d anyone pay this much for a fry pan.Medium priced pans are just as good or better and when they have failed I've been able to take them back yo the shop, no questions asked. Store I bought it at was useless, didn't want to help. Heavy bass for even heat Didn't stay completely nonstick for long and doesn't clean easily. Love it!
I've had my frypans for 3 years now and have never had a problem with them. I don't need to use oils even when cooking marinated meat or fried eggs. Most times I don't need to wash them...paper towel cleans them perfectly. No sign of the coating coming off even though I use it on a high heat. I'm amazed that other people had troubles with theirs. My mum and sisters have them too and they are still perfect after many years.
Fantastic cooking, no oils needed, easy to clean
Expensive initially but save money by never replacing cheaper cookware

Fantastic product. Couldn't rate more highly
Have had two of their frying pans for 2-3 years now. Use one or both everyday and have found them to be as good as when purchased. I'd say most of the bad reviews here are because they did not season their pan before use. This is vital, after that just use and wash as per normal. We do not use metal implements on the pans as they would clearly reduce the life of any pan. Perhaps take this into account when using too.
Still non-stick after 2-3 years and really durable. Has a great weight to it
Price, but not too bad if you shop around

Dissapointed
I bought my frypan about 3 yrs ago and months after I got it things started to stick a little, I persaveared cause thought it was my cooking. I never cooked anything past medium but kept cooking and got worse. Anyway I contacted swiss diamondand they promptly told me I'd probably burnt something and the warranty would be void, however I could send back for valuation, I didn't trust this so Itill got it but will probably try another brand next time I buy something as expensive. It was a big outlay for me and yes I was dissapointed
nice and heavy, even cooking.
Bad warranty service, maybe I could have returned it to the store where I bought it for evaluation. Non stick surface started coming off in about 6 months

Works great initially but deteriorates quickly
My first pan was non stick for less than a year and had a wobbly handle after a few months- it had a non Australian screw in it so it couldn't be tightened???? Took it back to the shop and after getting most of the blame, they replaced it- found that interesting since supposedly I ruined it, why would they give me a new one? The broken handle was never addressed (question constantly dodged!) I was told it was replaced out of "goodwill"... highly doubt that - I was sold a dodgy model! And BTW the handle of the new one has a 'normal' screw in it....Read more
It does work great initially. Fantastic for maintaining heat for even cooking, and the non stick surface is great! No matter how well you look after it (and I really followed all instructions) it becomes sticky and have to use oil for cooking - becomes like every other $20 pan on the market for 10x the price!Similar opinion? False advertising - it's simply overpriced PTFE cookware
After 2 years, my 32cm frying pan looks about 20 years old. Exterior coating has blistered and gone in some places and the inside surface is looking very rough/worn. Have not abused it, avoided metal utensils and no dishwasher.
The pots have fared better, but the non-stick surface is easily scratched.
Diamonds - what a con.
I actually thought I was buying some new revolutionary non-stick surface, then later found out it's just a PTFE coating.
I can't believe I wasted so much money on 'old tech' PTFE that poses health risks if you overheat...Read more

Love them!
Been using these for about 6 months and they are wonderful!
First tried the small fry pan as it was a special price and then quickly convinced my fiance to buy me a set. They heat up quickly and don't need any oils if you don't wish to use them, great for low fat cooking.
Worth every penny and can see them lasting me a lifetime.
Non-stick, Oils not necessary, good heat distribution, nice range of items to cover all the things you need
Expensive, but so is most good cookware, if you can get it on sale it's much more cost effective, cannot use metal utensils so had to adjust slightly - plenty of silicone and wooden tools available now so not such a big deal

My Swiss Diamond Prestige cast casserole has been dreadful. I follow the cooking and cleaning I instructions but most everything I cook burns at the bottom of the pot. I’ve just had to throw out the marmalade I was cooking because it caught so badly on the bottom of the pot the marmalade was burnt. I can’t believe I paid such a high price for such poor quality. I thought cast iron would be tough. Apparently not.

I have a casserole i use frequently and love. I have never used it for jams though. It is probably 10 years old and still as new.
Hi Joan. Thank you got your response. My pot is under 12 months old and now I can’t clean the surface so the pot is now worthless. I am so disappointed with this purchase. Maybe the cookware was better quality 10 years ago. Regards
