I bought a log splitter online on a Saturday night. It did say they had low stock at Gregory hills so I called first thing in the morning to confirm. They stated they had it in stock and needed to be built and they were unable to do it that day which was fair enough. Read moreck of being stuffed around when they have my 2k+ since Saturday. I was told by the bloke over the phone that it was my fault as I placed the order online and that I should never use the websites online shop and only ever buy items in person from inside the shop and their online shop is useless. I called head office and informed them. It was organised that I could pick my item up from another store which had the item in stock and I couldn’t pick it up disassembled due to warranty. I only used to shop at sydney tools Gregory hills as it was convenient. Every time I’d go in there, 5 or so staff would be behind the counters talking to each other and not even acknowledge your existence till they were ready and mostly would have attitude when finally serving you when they’re ready to do so. I’m over their crap and taking my business to total tools who have been awesome transferring my business to them as I needed a new commercial grade air compressor anyway. Good riddance!

Went in store to buy a welder. Extremely busy in there with not enough staff members which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. Chris the English man served me, he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and friendly. After shocking customer service last year there I almost didn’t go back. So happy with my welder and the kit. Thank you Chris.

Walk-in a store they assume you will steal from them and insist you leave your bag at the counter. Even when you have a lot of valuables in a small bag they assume you will steal from them.
Here’s the litmus, go to total tools no problems, go to Bunnings no problems. Sydney tools problems.
Just take your business to total tools and they will match prices.
The industry doesn’t need such arrogant backwards treatment of customers. They do not deserve your business.
Read all the reviews on these clowns, consistently voted the worst hardware store chain in the country.
No surprises, no customer focus. No customers No revenue!

Worst experience to this shop.i have very important job that have deadline i bought Slide crosscut mitre saw. And when I open the It is not brand new, dirty no manual and missing collection bag blade is used and scratched. Before i go i ask why the box is taped looks like its been open [Name Removed] said it new no problem.so I believe him.when i im preparing at home i open the box. Its a crap I called them then i told them i need this i come in the morning. When i come not been prepare. And they keep saying its not their fault. And what? it is my fault???
Rude staff not professional, worst people to deal with. Also i don't know the name bald guy. Its good when you buying, terrible when you have issue
And i missed the deadline of my job.

I have been coming here for years now and I have NEVER had bad service.
Having read a couple of 1 star reviews, I felt I needed to respond.
The team here are great people to deal with and I am always offered help and advice whenever I have needed it.
I have written similar comments on Google reviews.
Sydney Tools have a huge range of tools but if you see something advertised ring first before you make the trip.
Chances are they WILL have it but ring first.
Don't go in with a bad attitude but treat the staff with the respect that you would expect yourself remember "The Universe Doesn't Revolve Around You"!
I will continue going to Sydney Tools Alexandria as, they have great prices and really good service and why would I go anywhere else?

Not really about the Lismore store I just happened to buy through there.
I bought $750 item and paid in full. It needed to be sent from Sydney and I was told that would take 1 week, maybe 2 weeks, max. Over 4 weeks later item has not even been sent from Sydney. Numerous phone calls to local store and Main Office were a waste of my time. Local store is useless (probably not their fault) and Sydney Tools head office is worse. They cannot tell me where the order is, when I can expect it to be sent or when I might get it - their computer sys...
Read moretem as far as ordering and tracking is concerned seems non existent. I know the item is in their warehouse because the local store told me. The item has been there since I bought it but apparently it is way too much trouble for Sydney Tools to organize transport to move stock from Sydney to their stores. What they are doing borders on fraud. They take your money into their bank account but don't appear to have any intention to deliver the goods. If you can buy from a physical store, pay and walk out with the item do so, but under no circumstances trust Sydney Tools to fulfil you order if it is not directly in stock. If this is their business model it is underhand, deceptive and likely criminal. In future I will buy from another supplier even if I have to pay post. I would be happy to do so to avoid having to deal with this wretched company again.- Customer Service

Was looking for a good priced pipe bender for a few months.
Glad I stumbled across this one.
Good price and excellent service.
Was able to pick-up the next day.
Have used it to bend 16mm Reo bar, it bent it like butter.
It will help me to make the bends in the pipes I need without any problems I believe.
As I have said it is a good product and value for the price.......

Typhoon pressure washer- needed part replacement, store should have been able to replace part (hose and gun) but needed to be “sent away” now 5 weeks, still no word on when it will be returned.
Guarantee if I returned a faulty product to Bunnings- they’d have taken a new one off the shelf and replaced it immediately.
Email sent to complaints a week ago- still no reply. Store has no answers.

Read mored since they appear to be poor quality, clearly as there’s a massive backlog of them in for warranty repairs. Replace our product, or offer us a refund. But this is the 2nd time it’s been in for warranty repairs that has taken more than a month. (When first purchased it wouldn’t start at all, had to wait for ages then too). I’m not a fan of this process Sydney tools and it will affect my choice of store to purchase from in future, Sydney tools will be bottom choice unfortunately. Meanwhile- gotta hire a pressure cleaner as despite purchasing one- I still don’t have it!- Product Quality

Bought a DeWalt thicknesser online, despite thinking it would take 24 hours it was ready the same day. Had Harrison help load it into my car, the guy definately knew his tools and was super helpful..recommend this place highly.

The guys at the Warrawong store today were so great and helped in a difficult situation. I had no tools to get my number plates on or off and not only did they offer to get me the tools they also offered to do the job for me. Can’t thank them enough. We need more people willing to help others out like these guys were.

Hi, I realize I am risking prosecution contacting you, but as I am more than willing to really engage the Police this time in a way that makes the news, may I ask how your hierarchy is going with their investigation considering your receptionist told me they would be back to me within a day, this was about one month ago.
