Good issue resolution by customer service but online tracking info needs to be much better when there's a problem !
Good issue resolution by customer service for overdue delivery but online tracking info needs to be much better when there's a problem !
My package, sent TNT Express from Melbourne to Brisbane on Wednesday, was due for delivery on Friday. Early Friday morning the online tracking status showed the package was being processed at Eagle Farm so everything looked on track for Friday delivery. Nothing arrived Friday and early Monday morning the online status showed the package was being processed again but then late morning the status changed to mor...
Read moree shipment info required - even though my shipment address and mobile number were correct. After logging a customer enquiry to find out what the issue was, I was contacted by and kept updated by the very helpful Stacy who explained what the problem actually was and how they were trying to resolve it. My package was finally delivered today (Friday a week later than scheduled). Stacy and the two delivery men today were all very helpful and professional and certainly made a frustrating experience much better however the TNT online tracking and automated messaging system needs to be upgraded to provide better and more specific information when there is a problem - not just generic statuses and messages !- Incentivised Review No

Hit and run drivers
TNT Truck driver backed into my car while i was at work, after much time spent chasing up CCTV and going through hours of footage, I found the evidence.
Lodged a case with TNT on early may 2021 to still not be any closer 3 months later to my car being fixed.
Still waiting for your response TNT!
UPDATE!!
After contacting TNT again they have now settled the price for fixing the damage.

Service is decent for bulk orders, good driver too but customer service is poor
Delivery is normally pretty good being a bulk business client and have a really good local driver. However just called TNT with a query regarding a shipment and got transferred to 4 different people within a matter of minutes. I wasn't happy with this experience as I was then put on hold so I hang up. 10 minutes later received a call back and they hung up on the second ring. I was thinking the call back might have turned this experience around for me but the fact they let it ring once and hung up just screams that they don't care imo.
Room for improvement, service is decent when you don't need to contact support.

poor customer services
I became involved with TNT Australia through the Pack&Send company, Fremantle. Even though it wasn't my personal choice and I only needed to receive the packages, I have been exposed to the TNT's poor customer service and arrogance regardless. On the delivery date, I spoke to 4 staff members and three of them advised me sternly that I am to wait there the whole day for the delivery as TNT doesn't provide the courtesy call from the approaching driver to ensure I will be there to receive goods. I took the day off from work and wasted the whole da...
Read morey only to find out upon calling to enquire at 4 pm that the delivery has been cancelled. No courtesy call much earlier, so I could return to work. No apologies, no nothing. The same story the next day: starting with my frantic calls to track down the consignment only to be sternly reminded that TNT cannot guarantee the delivery yet, I am supposed to be there the whole day waiting and praying it may happen. So two anxious days, largely wasted due to staff arrogance ([name removed], [name removed], [name removed]), which were at least partially restored by the diligent and helpful driver. Yet I was amazed to find out that the load of 5 pellets was to be downloaded just by one man, the driver! After I have been charged over $5000 for the consignment! So not only TNT offers the bad and arrogant customer service but also cuts down on the services to the wire, no doubt cashing handsomely at the top level. My advice to the potential customers: shop around for a better value for money and save yourself a lot of anxiety.- Incentivised Review No

Hit and miss
Had an amazing driver yesterday who called me to come and collect parcel outside my gated townhouse complex. I was out at the time so he assured me on the phone he'd take it to a collection point nearby. Was there at 4:30pm same day as promised. Excellent. I guess today I got a really lazy driver who couldn't care less. No call, then got a text saying I wasn't home to collect. Text said it was on the way to local collection point. It never turned up there and the online tracking service from FedEx and the calling card from TNT says parcel can't currently be tracked because it's in transit. Who knows where it will end up. O the difference a dedicated, competent employer makes to customer service and a company's reputation!

Communication is lacking with this company
Got a garbled message at 7.30 in the morning to confirm if i would be home to accept delivery.
No contact number left, rang tnt and no facility to let them know i would be home. Finally worked out operators exist if you say nothing to the automated service. Seems pretty bad for such a big company.
When you work out how to get through the operators a pretty good. The saga continues I let you know if i ever get this package I've changed by tune a bit the operators have kept me up to date. Is 6 days to go 1 hour drive away good?

Lismore TNT, NSW AUSTRALIA
Lismore NSW Australia TNT, Great service provided by drivers but the disgusting and rude behaviour of the manager at that depot is ONGOINGLY HORRIBLE. The way myself and other customers have witnessed her speaking and treating to her staff is absolutly appalling its a wonder TNT have any drivers at that office at all, how she has lasted this long in that position is wrong.

Billing Practices
I have been using TNT for a number of years fairly reguarly and I have an account. I have found them to be reliable with my transport needs. However their billing practices, their quoting system and their hidden surcharges are very unreasonable and I now take much of my business elsewhere. I still do use TNT occasionally, but only when I must.

Best of a bad bunch
I have tried so many Australian courier companies for long periods of time only to be let down time and time again,
both sending and receiving packages.
I have found TNT to be the most reliable and the fastest with the best coverage of the entire country.
The online tracking is informative and is able to provide parcel delivery progress via email updates.
NOTE: Insurance is required for expensive items as no care is taken with fragile shipments from experience.

Cuatomer service system is not good needs restructute
I use TNT alot, probably 3 times a week, in general the system is ok. i also use other couriers, I'm general not in a rush, but this one was, 5 boxes to be picked up from NSW coming to Melbourne, the driver collected the goods on time but - the sender not realising it - didn't have a working scanner to scan the parcels, and here where the ordeal begins:
2 days later I call TNT and they cant obviously see the pickup took place, now where are the parcels? $6,000 worth of goods, no insurance.is going to cover me, as there is no scan of it being p...
common sense please reviewers
Whilst reading these reviews i noticed that many people complain about poor customer service on the phone.
Whilst having to deal with tnt on the phone, i agree the service could be better and staff seem they have NOT been trained properly. Some drivers do make mistakes, but having a friend who works at TNT he tells me that TNT often use couriers from other companies to fill in for drivers on leave or sick. They are the ones who normally scan deliveries as "NOT HOME" but DO NOT leave a card as they don't go there. These drivers are not accounta...

Slow and inconvenience
I will avoid shopping from the seller which uses TNT as a carrier in the future.
I finally received the items I purchased after 10 days from the date I received the "Sorry we missed you" card.

missing items in shipment
Last month I sent Cargo with TNT from Bangkok and when I opened it last week there were approximately 40 items missing. Has there been any reported problems with Cargo from Bangkok? I have used the same Cargo company in Bangkok for 3 years with no problems but now I am unsure what to do in the future re my Cargo.

OK
Good, timely service in general. My main complaint is the "Cons" written above: they can't let me specify a delivery time or date, and therefore, if they arrive at a time when no one is home to receive the product, I will have to wait (and/or pay) for re-delivery on another occasion. It's very inconvenient how I can't specify a date and time online (like in other countries like Japan) to ensure that they don't waste their time, and I don't either.
timely deliveries, good phone telephone services the time I tried to call them (to track a product that wasn't listed online)
insists on delivery times even when I can warn them in advance that I will NOT be home at all

OK
Well priced service for bulk items but I think i know why they call it 'tnt' as some packages look like they have been bombed on route. If you use them then take out insurance. They have a good online tracking system
Road express service is cheap for bulk items
They have damaged/lost a few items of mine
