PERFECT CAR
A great car for someone who wants spacious car but at same time wants great mileage, this 2013 Camry hybrid is a great. Plenty of room and power, this is great for someone who does lot of kilometres. Only drawback is that on wet roads it can skid. Have to be little bit more careful. Don't take it negative I have driven it for work for 3 year done over 250000 km and no problem till date. You do get used to brakes.

Maybe the best product we ever made in Australia
I bought the Camry for my 21 y.o. son. He will never drive it himself, care workers mainly drive him around, but he needs independence as far as possible. We live in a rural 'commuter' area with 110km speed limits and he is a large man 190 cm so we needed a combination of safety, interior space, on-highway drivability, and low running costs. A car that would survive a multitude of drivers, with no quirky habits, and with copious rear leg-room.
The Camry was 1 YO and had ~160,000 km on the odometer having been a 'Community Car' with th...Read more
e local council, and since Sep '17 we have added another ~30,000 km. But you wouldn't know it driving the car, it still feels brand new. It returns excellent fuel economy, has 15,000 service interval, and you can buy tyres in known brands for <$140 a corner...even though he rides in style on 17" alloys. In my opinion, the build quality is as good as our MIJ cars, and better than the previous AU and EU made ones we've owned. Nothing has broken, fallen off, failed, leaked or flaked. The paint job is spot-on (apart from driver-induced blemishes) and there are no squeaks or rattles. Oil consumption over the last 17,000 km was maybe 250-300ml. It runs perfectly on 91 ULP and I anticipate that it will continue to do so for a very long time. The Atara S is a great spec, with low noise, supple ride, split climate control, inbuilt antennae, DLR lights, leather look steering wheel, electric seat, blue-teeth, reversing camera, and 5 speed auto w/- paddle shifters, keyless entry and starting, and beeps at you if you've got out but left the selector in 'N' and not 'P', a million airbags, and electric everything, etc. One possible negative is the USA style parking brake...which seems not to have caused any problems, maybe that's because there's a warning buzzer if you drive off without properly releasing it (the voice of experience...). Awesome all-round car. I think its a shame the local production ended.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Wonderful car
We purchased this this vehicle in 2017 and it is such a pleasure to drive. It has more guts then I would have thought ! The reversing camera is great, automatic headlights and great storage.. quite a bit of leg room, very spacious boot, heaps of cup/bottle holder areas.
It has been great on fuel aprox 7.6l per 100km very reliable and just wonderful to drive.

Went fron a Merc to a Camry
My husband traded in his Merc for a Camry best choice he ever made, so many issues with the Merc always owned Toyotas thought he would try a Merc but traded it in after 15months, he purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry very stylish with the grill similar to the lexus, the bonnet protector finishes it off nicely, it may not be as luxurious as the merc inside but more reliable and services are capped for 5 yrs, my husband only wishes the side mirrors fold in like my Koba. The panoramic sunroof is fantastic, haven't worked out yet how to turn off the "please obey all traffic regulations " voice if you are speeding slightly. Still learning.

Excellent sporty family car!
I have had my Camry for almost three years and I LOVE it! It is reliable car which has got a very powerful engine and the options on the Atara SL model are great and can please everyone.
I can't really fault the car however when I took the car for service they told me that updating the GPS costs about $300 every time which I think is absurd! Therefore I had to buy a Garmin for $200 with free lifetime updates.

Brilliant car.
Got one of these Camry sedans in November brand new. It is a joy to drive. Extremely reliable car, and more economical to run than expected. It has a pretty powerful motor and all the extras you’d expect. I especially like that all of the controls are so intuitive. Highly recommend.

Has a few small issues, but still a great family car
+ The Altise looked nice in the mettalic silver, and for the first few years, it was an awesome car.
- After a few years small issues arose. Power window circuit board went $400 replace. The roof lining gave way on all four corners. The central locking plays up in weather conditions.
I would buy a toyota again, but will read reviews first. As the issues i have had seem to be a somewhat common one with my model of Altise.

Love this car
It's like this - the Camry is the perfect family car (note - small family). It's really reliable, cheap to run and maintain, it's comfortable and still a pretty good looking car even after 15 years. I would happily recommend the Camry and would buy another one in a heartbeat, if the 3 kids weren't getting so big.

Great point A to B car and superb mileage
I bought 2010 hybrid camry as a used car. I must say i have been impressed by this car. It is a great family car very spacious, reliable and extremely low maintenance cost. Fuel economy is also good i still get around 6.5 litres/100kms mileage. The only negative point is that it's not a drivers car. Steering is vague and wobbly but i guess it's a well known camry trait as it's not famous for being sporty. Other than that great family car with cheap running cost.

A great driving experience
The Camry Altise has positive handling. It is quiet inside with air conditioning that is easy to adjust for personal satisfaction. The shape if the car results in more shade inside which makes for a cooler and more enjoyable trip particularly for long journeys where you don't have the sun on you all day. Fuel consumption is good. Seating very comfortable. GPS And phone control are easy to operate. Good leg room in back seats. Large boot for luggage.

Good looking
I love the car. its so good looking car. the comfort and the looks so nice. we did the leather seat covering that was good decision with young kids. Running cost is almost zero ( less) as compare to big SUV or 4 wheel drives. so economical family car. as compare to other luxury expensive cars it was the best pick for us.

Good overall
This car has big space, powerful enough for driving in the city. I was once driving it to Gold Coast, tried some mountain roads, not very good experience though.
I am told that Camry is the only model assembled in Australia. I think that why the decorations inside are not as good as other models which are assembled in Japan. My Camry's trim beneath the middle air-con was pulled out and had a big gap, but got fixed when doing the capped service.
Overall it is a good car.

Excellent family car!
We bough this hybrid car before having our first baby. The comfort, safety features and smooth ride are what sold us on this car, as the perfect one for our family. The fact that I pay a lot less for fuel than we used to is a great bonus. And to get all these features for a fraction of what it would cost for a different brand of car, makes this car excellent value for money.
With having a baby in the back, it is so handy having hands free blue tooth technology, automatic breaking, lane control - not to mention extra safe. I honestly couldn't ask for more.

Very very happy with my car
Past cars I owned are Mazda3,6 and Honda Civic. But this hybrid camry is my absolute favourite. It may not turn heads, but everything just works. Reliable, comfortable, and very economical. May not be the quickest but who cares in Sydney traffic. I feel i am doing my bit for the environment just driving this car around.

Driving definately fine.
I have 2004 camry sportivo v6. It is over 10 years old but driving incredibly fine. When it comes to hightway driving, the genuine value for this car will be revealed. Especially, transmission and engine works perfect for 10 years old car. Never dissapoint me at all. If you are thinkg of used car, this is what you need.

Great Family Car
Driving my Toyota Camry is an absolute pleasure every time I take it out. Great to cover the long road trips with it's sizeable yet comfortable interior. And with it's great fuel economy, it is a great family car to drive around town with or take on long get aways.

Economical and good value car
Recently purchased car, happy with the performance of the car. Engine is silent. Technology in that comes with the car is immaculate with the price you pay. Very fuel efficient, takes you a distance before eventually running out of fuel. Would suggest this car as well for new families as a great start for a small family car.

Hello Toyota drivers!
Can you please advise me... Does that 2015 Camry Atara S Hybrid have a GPS unit included as standard factory fitted, or did I read correctly that in 2015, only the SL version came with a GPS?
Thank you everyone in advance...
