hey there, we are looking at a Rav4 2008 for our little family too. Does the car seat fit ok in the middle? as the third seat is quite small and around what price did you pay for yours? thanks!

Our 2nd Rav4 just like the last one has been a great reliable car. The 2011 has much more room than our old 2005 model. Never had a problem with the cars. Only thing I have noticed it has never been under 11L/100k's. We use to run premium fuel makes no difference to economy so now just run E10. We have a local mechanic service our vehicles, heard too many bad stories about Toyota servicing them. Remember the 17 year old apprentice does the basic servicing at dealerships but some how they manage to stuff up (my dad took his rav4 back 4 times after one dealership service)
Roomy, reliable,
Small fuel tank and a little thirsty compared to what Toyota claims

Great car, i am 6"2 and i can sit in the back easly. But i hate the FM reception.
I got the 2007 RAV4 cruiser L and its a great car.I had a subaru 2005 liberty premium before and the rav's better. Its quiter bigger and built better.
Itseems to like fuel, FM radio reception is not good when your moving, they put bridgstone tyres on it,They dont put a lock on the back wheel and they get stolen and i was told this by Toyota. The roof antena is in the way if you carry things on the roof and if you want to use the roof rails you need to spend $200+ for the roof bars.

2007 Rav4 cv, have had nudge bar and side steps fitted. Fuel between 13.6 - 14.9 lts/100 kms. Dealership unhelpful. Had Toyota's and still got a SR5 Hulix and will be hard to sell me another one
Drives like a car. Comfortable & spacious
Fuel consumption heavy.

Great car. We are very happy with it. Prior to purchase we test drove the Holden Captiva and the Mitsubishi Outlander. The RAV suited us better!
Great driving position and plenty of power for a four cylinder. We're also pleased with the fuel consumption. There is plenty of legroom- front, back- everywhere!
Parking in the supermarket car park- we don't want our RAV bashed by a careless person's door!Suffers from the same problem as the other 4WDs- body roll in the bends.

I moved away from Toyota for a fair few years and wouldn't take a look at them, but this has brought me back! Very happy with it, other small 4wds didn't compare!
Just bought a 2008 Cruiser - fab ride, great for our small towing needs, drives well, super comfy and sooooo much space.
It's all great!

The RAV4 ZR6 is unique as it drives and feels like a large sedan; is extremely quick; sits tall like a 4WD and is very spacious. It travels like a true touring vehicle on the open road. I have owned one since they were introduced Oct 07 and use it extensively around the City as well as open roads.
Speed, space & height
perhaps the seats - nice if they were softer and wrapped around the body more.

I've always driven a sedan and had said that I would never purchase a 4 X 4 . After owning a RAV4 however I take that back. It's so easy to drive it doesn't seem like you're driving a 4 X 4. It looks great, its the perfect size, heaps of room inside. Everything I ever wanted in a car.
Great looking car, easy to drive, reasonably economical, spacious
Not much I don't like really. When on the freeway if one window is opened up to half way the noise created inside the car is unbearable until you balance by opening another window or closing them all.

After years roughing it with a Hyundai - that always felt dirty and unsporty - and a Delica, which we bought for long Outback drives, I took advice from friends. Everyone told me that Toyotas are 'safe' in terms of maintenance, they are easy to fix in Australia, and rarely go wrong. My Rav 4 is a case in point. No trouble, cheap to service. Just brilliant. I've driven it through Outback NSW, also off road on 4WD tracks, no trouble. Should have bought one years ago.
Easy to drive, great all-rounder, great for family days out, long distance work trips, holidays.
Nothing. Wish I'd bought one years ago.

Good value, good second hand value. This is my third RAV4. No mechanical problem. Roomy storage space and the second row. Vision in the front is good. A good range of colour to choose from. I have chosen the Pearl White. The paint is of good quality. This model is good because the spare wheel has a lock. Consumes more fuel than my older Corolla. Low service cost. No problem with the air conditioning. Interior is stylish.
Everything about the car. The design. The current model is very cute looking.
Nothing. I have lost my antenna becuase people can take it away.

This is my second Rav4. Regret getting Pearl White after having Silver. Have snapped aerial off twice as its too high for the garage door. I have the top of range model, leather is easy to keep clean, have reverse sensors, they are great, sat nav also the best thing. Although live in warm climate, going down south is great use for seat warmers. Great car for growing family, lots of room in back seats and boot. Cannot fault this vehicle for performance, value and reasons stated.
Style Reliable Easy to drive.Roomy
Radio antenna should fold down like the Honda crv
