Seems to be a similar experience as all the other reviews. There’s no way to get a response or contact the phone number is not connected I remember a time in the 90s where Toys “R” Us was the best place to go for toys. Clearly this is not the case any more. Will not be buying from here again hopefully I can get a refund

I had been told on time of purchase that my package is expected to be delivered on the 15/09 I have not had an apology from the company it is now the 23rd I have not received my package note an apology it is still waiting to be shipped absolutely ridiculous I paid for faster shipping also I purchased my product on the 8/9 another stupid thing after purchase they said that they will refund a small amount of money in to my bank to write back with the total once I received it it took a week to show in my bank and that they would not send the product until this is done company is appalling
I am waiting for a refund that will take 5+ business days after being repeatedly unable to contact them at all via phone. When I followed up via email they said they were unable to refund! Could I organise a chargeback with my bank?!!!!! Shocking. It’s a standard Visa card. Do not do business with these people, you will not get your money back. I will report to Consumer Affairs.

Made a purchase online to get our son a set called hot wheels ultimate garage, stated once payment is made it will be dispatched between 2 - 3 days & tracking details will be emailed. Over 2 weeks now not a word let alone email, all there numbers are always engaged or phone numbers for shops that have nothing to do with them. Sent an email & you guessed it no response. Contacted MasterCard there onto this as i paid this way & also a Federal government body that handles online scams just like Toys R us are. Whatever you do, do not order anything on the Toys R Us website. I ordered some toys for my son. Payment was processed immediately and I received an automated email confirmation that my order had been placed. The email did not contain any tracking or contact information. I responded, requesting a refund, and finally received one a week and a half later. Sounds like I was one of the lucky ones. What type of business are these guys running? I has assumed that a recognised brand like Toys R Us was a legitimate company but I wish I had read these reviews first. Horrible experience, avoid at all costs.

Ordered a bike for my daughters birthday. Shipping said 2-3 days. After week of nothing I emailed and was advised that they had issues with their new warehouse and “hopefully” it would ship within a week but that couldn’t promise it would. There is nothing stated on their website about increased shipping times and quite honestly it’s appalling they can’t give their customers a timeframe on when their item will ship.

I purchased an item, and after 14 days they emailed saying that they have 'stock issues' and would be refunding my order. TWO WEEKS! I was ordering something for my baby that was developmentally appropriate and now we have missed out on two weeks of that, and have to wait for another retailer's delivery time. Terrible, terrible service.

I had a question on stock to buy and I tried to call my nearest store and the number given was Not Connected, I then tried 2 others and they too were not connected, so I tried their Head office in VIC and guess what? Not Fkkkkkkkkn connected. What a doggy shonky business. I will never shop now at toysrus, as they obviously Don’t Care about customer service.
If I could NOT give them any stars I would Just like everyone else ON HERE that give 1 ⭐ review!! same situation after 1 week from purchase day no information on orders, no response to emails, phone numbers that don't work!! until I got PayPal involved then they decide to Automatically cancel my order!!! because PayPal got involved to help me get some information from this company....HOW FRUSTRATING.... I ordered bikes for my twins birthday. Order processed, and payment taken immediately. Website stated it would be dispatched in 2-3 days. 3 weeks pass, and no further info. I contacted the customer service email, as they don't have a connected phone number, and received a standard response advising they were having warehouse issues and "hopefully" it would be dispatched within the week. Don’t order online in Australia! 5 days after order was processed (and my money taken) did I get a reply. No shipping details. No contact phone number that works in Australia. Now I have to wait 5 days for a refund! If you are no longer a working reputable business take off the net. You make online shopping an absolute joke!
Do not buy anything from Toys r Us Australia. Their dispatch and shipping time is horrendous and misleading. I bought an item via their website stating that the item will be dispatched within 2-3 business days but it didn't get dispatched until a week later ( ordered on Monday 24/08/21). There was no communication at all regarding the late dispatching date. Only got taught to wait when i personally reached out to them. My item finally got shipped today 30/08/21 even when I asked to cancel my order on Friday 27/07/21.
There's no customer support...
I've been waiting for my order for 5 weeks, I haven't received any update. This is my first and last order from them! Very unprofessional!

Toys R Us are the most unprofessional disgraceful retailer. I bought my son a Meccano set and I got nothing for 8 days until I disputed with Paypal. Then I got an update on shipping. Their phone number doesn't connect and they don't respond to emails. It shouldn't take 8 days to post out. Would never buy from Toys R US again

Placed an order more than four weeks ago and it still hasn't been dispatched! Received no notification prior to purchase of any delays. Since ordering there's been no updates about delays and no one can provide any ETA on when it will be dispatched or delivered. Horrible customer experience, would rather pay more somewhere else for actual service.
Ordered a $200 gift for my son's birthday. Received an email that order is being processed, but have had nothing else since then. Can't contact them on phone. No response to emails sent. Very worried they have just taken my money and I won't be able to get my order.
Ordered product and paid for express shipping. Received no product and no update and after 2 weeks cancelled my order. Was told that I would get a refund “within 5 days” - that was 3 weeks ago. Now going through painful process of recovering money (this is pretty much a scam company).
As an online online retailer, I had high hopes that Toysrus would perform as well as other exclusive online platforms. I was wrong, very, very wrong.
My order was placed on the 23rd July amble time for a birthday on the 27th August.
Order confirmation was “processed” and received by me on 24th July.
I did not receive any postage confirmation at any stage.
By the 29th July I was beginning to get concerned so I checked the website for contact details.

1 star is too much of a praise for them. Purchased a few items and have been waiting for over 3 weeks now and still not shipped (paid shipping for them too). Tried calling but the number was inactive. Emailed and they replied with a "bot" / "copy and paste" answer. Beyond horrendous customer service for such a "big" company. I'm spending my money at Mr Toys from now on. Please heed my advise to all reading, STAY AWAY from toysrus aus. Probably my worst online shopping experience ever.
I ordered two battery operated traffic light systems for a kids clinic. When the products arrived, one would not work. The battery covers would not hold the batteries in and when I reached out, the customer service team told me that I had put the batteries in wrong? Even though I managed to do it with the other one correctly. I sent the toy back and they still tried to tell me nothing was wrong with it and I must have been doing it wrong. I have not received the toy back and received no refund. Now the other unit has also broken. I am highly dissatisfied and will not be shopping with Toys R Us again
Purchase the items weeks ago, no updates where given. Delivery day given was missed by weeks and still waiting.

Same issue as many others. Ordered a $300 adult lego kit to help keep busy during lockdown. No alert before purchase that there were shipping issues. No emails with proactive updates, it was all one way from me to them. Missed their promised shipping date, when I followed them up they then said they can’t confirm exactly when it would ship. After two weeks of waiting I instantly cancelled the order and will get a refund in five days, though given my experience so far I am not optimistic.
I really should’ve checked here first before buying, wouldn’t be surprised if they go under taking everyone’s money with them.

Ordered many items on 22/7 which all wet in stock and processed through. Now weeks later being told whole order not in stock ! Blaming move to new warehouse. All Christmas gifts will now have to be the ordered but not from Toys t Us. Absolutely disgusted. Shameful way to do business
