Do NOT use these crooks.
I will be going to the Ombudsman over these thieves. I was charged excess mobile calls after my wife exceeded the questionable $550 "worth" of mobile calls. $15.57 for ONE call to a local mobile for about 10 minutes is daylight robbery. The ongoing theft from my account was happening every day or two. Their excuse was we were on an old plan, but such high charges for one call is beyond even being unreasonable. I told them to halt withdrawing money from my bank account because I was in the midst of switching over to a more reputable provider. ...Read more
They even put a block on the new provider switching over and as a result they charged me another $40 from another two mobiles for another month. Now the terrible service. They kept me on hold for 5.5 hours with their bogus chat line and then later on for another 1.5 hours. Their service is worst than in any third world country. In the chat, they lied to me. On the last chat they said they were putting me though to service and that's where they left on on hold for 90 minutes until I gave up. They simply do not care. I will be going to Ombudsman to claim the excess charges back. As far as their service goes, do not waste your time with TPG, because believe me your time is of no importance to them. You mean nothing to them other than money in the pocket for their shareholders. I vow NEVER to use TPG again for anything and I will be telling my friends and relatives never to use them.

Can't get mobile phone working
Joined up with TPG 18th April. Money taken out then. It is now 29th April. Was only able to receive calls yesterday on 28th April. Can't ring out. I'm in my 70s and I had to leave my self isolation yesterday to drive to doctor's to make an appointment as I can't use my phone. I ring TPG every morning at 8am on friend's mobile. TPG promise to ring me every time I call. Hasn't happened yet. Not happy Jan.

I Would not recommend, Stay away from this service
I am new to this service and I joined both my mobile and NBN services with tpg. I am in the process of moving my mobile number away from them but unfortunately I am contracted with NBN, customer service is almost impossible to get, I have been without a phone since friday, due to the top up data I paid for still not being applied to my account but the monies have been taken out of my bank account. ternet down load speed was said to be at 34mb, but the best we get is 4. My recommendation is to stay away from this service. They will answer the sales phone number within minutes, but once they transfer you to tech support of accounts, they dont answer their phones. Shocking service!!Similar opinion? Terrible service and support.
We have a landline provided by TPG.Has been functioning very poorly from many years. Complained numerous times with no result. Landline stopped working two weeks ago. Have contacted TPG 3 times, in last two weeks. Service person did not fix problem. Made problem worse,By disconnecting all

Terrible service
You cannot contact them over the phone. Line dropped three times calling the bank and each time got a text stating your account has been charged altogether $55 for a single call I try to make to the bank. No one to talk to, even cancelling the account I am finding extremely difficult. TPG used to be good now it’s a absolute scam

Could never recommend
I have been with TPG for about 14 years. I had 4 mobile accounts that I paid. 2.5 years ago I found that I could not call a friend on his mobile from any tpg mobile. Very odd. I lodged a complaint (in fact about 8 times). The bottom line they could not fix it. Just got told lies and then complaint was forgotten.

Do not use TPG
For many months I have continually had calls dropping out and this issue was escalating to at least 50% of my calls. I live in the metro area of a capital city.
I had the hardware checked by apple with no issues identified. I phoned TPG support 3 times to seek to identify the problem which appeared to be coverage. No issues were identified by their engineers. I purchased a new SIM card, no difference. Absolutely pathetic
lol I just left this pathetic of a company. I wish I could rate them minus zero. 6 of my family members decided to leave this excuse of a company. The the word hate is generous if I could describe them. If you're looking to join TPG, I suggest you do your research first and trust these reviews on ieatwords. Turn you back around and save yourself headache and your money. When you're a knew customer, TPG will be nice to you. Once you're with them, expect horror service. When you call them, they don't pick up unless it's past 1 or 2 hours. They will not let you leave them. They will trap you with hidden fees. They will ignore your calls. Then they will keep charging you once you leave them.

Unapologetically stole my money twice.
I was on the $18/month plan which included $550 worth of calls and texts. Excess should only be charged if the included value has been used up within the month.
On two occasions TPG unlawfully withdrew additional funds from my credit card well before I had used up my $550 of included value i.e. within one week of each month.
On the first occasion, $127.23 was incorrectly withdrawn from my credit card, despite not being even close to exceeding my prepaid balance. I had to repeatedly contact the customer service team and endure 48 hours of be...Read more

This time however, after another frustrating period of chasing this up with the customer service team, TPG did not reimburse the $78.14 that had been taken from my credit card. Rather, they attempted to add $77.51 to the $550 of included value, which would have equated to about $3 of real currency. The funny thing is, when I made a complaint claim of $80 to the TIO, one of TPG’s staff members (name removed) actually attempted to point out the injustice of my claim. You had 2 months to set things right and within that time you chose not to apologize, return my money or compensate me after stealing from my credit card twice within a 4 month period. Instead, after I made a claim with the TIO because TPG refused to return my money, I had Randy pointing the finger at ME for making a claim of $80 instead of precisely 77 dollars and 51 cents... He even had the nerve to send me an invoice for 63c payable to TPG after my credit card company got my money back. He wasn't even willing to reimburse me for the interest that had resulted from TPGs wrongful credit card withdrawal. Extremely poor customer service
Despite having cancelled roaming in my mobile in December 2022, TPG has not yet reimbursed me a pre-payment amount of nearly $500. I have rung them 4 times. Each time, they tell me they are requesting the reimbursement to be made via their accounts team - which they said they had done in December! At best, this amounts to extremely poor customer service - at worst, it is theft and could be reported to the ACCC and/or the Telecommunications Ombudsman. I could certainly not recommend TPG as a reputable and honest company.

Doggy service
Wish I could rate it minus. I've cancelled the service but they keep billing me. I've been charged for the next billing month PLUS 2 extra bills within a week.

Daily phone calls ( each taking one hour on hold)
Being transferred to a million different people.
They don't care

I use TPG mobile and was charged more than $70 extra for over usage of data when they could not provide me the explanation. At 5.20pm while I was driving home from work with a phone out of battery they sent me a message that I have used up 50% of my data. For God's sake how could I use the phone while it was totally off, and while I was busy driving. I called a few times but nothing changed. Feeling scammed...
Setting up with TPG seemed simple at first, they quoted me $90 over the phone.
$60 for data
$10 for delivery of modern
$20 for pre payment
Now all of a sudden I've been charged $190 because there is apparently a "set-up fee" that was not mentioned to me when I signed up.
Isn't this illegal????

They will charge $20 every day without any notification .
While away, recommended to use $1 month but when changed the plan you need to wait until billing cycle .otherwise you will get paid $20 plus $$$$ every day

Worst Service Ever
unstable NBN and it's renowned poor customer service overseas.
No more to say the hidden cancellation fee, even if you are out of contract, if you wish to cancel, they will tell you they require a 30 DAYS notice !!! so you will be charged for another month to switch to another company

Unreliable service
I am unable to make international calls from my mobile. It's been 7 days and I've called TPG 5 times and nobody is doing a thing about it. All they keep saying is that they've escalated the problem. This is beyond frustrating. Throughout the years, the network had not been reliable. All my family lives overseas, I can't count how many times I have been unable to call them on special occasions. This current disruption is the worse. 7 days and still no solution. My sister is getting married and I am unable to talk to her.
I am going to cancel my account that I've had with TPG since 2011.
Stay away from TPG for your peace.

Worst Service Ever!
I signed up with TPG mobile on a $30 a month package at the start of December 2022. During December, I was able to call Zimbabwe without any hassles. However, since 11 January 2020, I have not been able to place a call to that country at all. All I ever get is a response that I could not be connected. would call back elapsed, I made another call, again left my phone details and this time, they answered within six minutes. The officer acknowledged their service was having some connecting issues with certain countries including Zimbabwe. He suggested that I switch off the phone and start again. That did not work and he told me that it would take up to 48 hours to resolve the issue. 72 hours later, after rebooting my phone, I placed a call to Zimbabwe and still got the same answer that I could not be connected. I phoned their Customer Service Desk, and it took them 16 minutes to answer. I was again told that they are still working on resolving calls to Zimbabwe, and I needed to wait. This is not acceptable especially when TPG happily collects my money but do not have the capacity to connect me to certain destinations, or at least the decency to advise that certain countries are outside their scope to connect. Yet my traditional provider, Airtimesharing, though slightly more expensive, is far more reliable and handy in cases of emergency. I will be terminating my relationship with TPG at the end of this month. I am disappointed their service is appalling and they do not keep their side of the bargain.Similar opinion? Currently - I'm on the NBN internet with TPG and we have the very good experience and it's reliable, but I'm not with the mobile with them and I get their sms offer messages for it, that i haven't signed up for.

Wow, I was about to sign on the dotted line for a TPG mobile plan, but after reading these shocking reviews that involve repeated incidences of money gouging from the credit cards of your customers, there is absolutely no way that I will be stepping anywhere near your company.
