What has happened to theTwinings Morning Tea?!

published

I openen my new box of Twinings Morning Tea and the first thing I noticed was that the tags on the tea bags were brown instead of the usual blue as on the outside of the box they come in. The brown tags don't indicate which tea is in the teabag either.
The second thing i noticed (after making my morning cup of tea) was the flavor. Yuck !!
What ever was inside the teabag was definitely not the Morning Tea blend I have become accustomed to.
What has happend to Twinings Tea? I hope this is just a one off mistake in packaging and not the new normal.

Purchased in March 2021 at Woolworths Physical store for A$11.00.

Bought a box of Twinings Morning Tea, the tags have changed to a brown one that does not state which tea it actually is. Not only that it actually taste like crap. I’m going to take them bag to woolies and seek a refund. That’s for the two boxes I bought. You use to have a great brand with great taste now it’s like drinking No Name tea, just not as cheap. Bring back the old taste and save your reputation.

Purchased in February 2021 at Woolworths Online store for A$5.60.

What has happened to this tea?!

As a devoted Twinings Morning Tea drinker, I was shocked to find myself drinking a weak, murky, flavourless tea instead. Absolutely atrocious stuff.

Purchased in January 2021 at Woolworths for A$11.00.

generic tea for all varieties?

The teabag label colour was turquoise now brown and doesn’t state what it is. The tea flavour has also changed to a muddy taste “not strong and robust as previously”.
