Daveasked
Hello,
Does Weber make a portable (for a travel trailer) 2 burner propane Barbeque? I do not need a cart / trolley has it goes in the bed of nun pick up when we travel. I currently have a Weber Q single burner but I am looking to upgrade to get the ability to cook different items at different temperatures.
Thank you,
Dave

Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Dave, the Weber Q range would be the best for portable gas cooking. If you're after something that has two separate zones for cooking, you could look at the Pulse Electric BBQ. The 2000 model has two separate burners perfect for dual zone cooking, you'd just need a generator to run it. You can find product information here: https://www.weberbbq.com.au/barbecues/electric/pulse/pulse-2000-grill/
Let us know if you need any further info :)

I have accidentally bought a natural gas BBQ. How do I convert for LPG?
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi John, thanks for your message. If you haven't used the barbecue, then you may be able to return it through the place of purchase to exchange- check with your store in the first instance.
If they won't accept the barbecue, you can organise a gas conversion through our head office. You will need to have your serial number handy when you call 1300 301 290. We will run you through the process and any costs involved.
Let us know if you need any more information. Thanks John.

1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Mohamed, you can do this easily, you just need to coordinate with our head office on 1300 301 290. We can organise the parts you need, and if necessary, organise a technician to help do the conversion. You'll also need a new data label that states that your barbecue is now an LPG model, not NG. Thanks

Hi, I have a webber baby Q can I convert the gas to something else.
4 answers
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Weisel, if you've got a Baby Q (Q100, 120, 1000 or 1200), they can only be run on LPG, not Natural Gas.
Any other Q model can be used on either LPG or NG. Hope that helps. Thanks
Yes well thank you i already know that i am not that Dim, i was actually referring to being able to convert to a charcoal bbq,.what would i use to place inside to hold the charcoal. Thanks for the comment.
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Weisel, I was not implying that at all, I thought you were talking about converting one type of gas to another.
As for converting to another fuel type, that is not possible- the base of the Q's are not designed to house charcoal or briquettes, so you would melt it if you tried I would imagine.
Hope that helps answer your question. Thanks

Hi Peter, yes you can order a new lid if you would like- you can do so by calling our head office on 1300 301 290. They can give you a price there.

Majid R.asked
Hi,
I am thinking to get a Weber Family Q for my balcony that has NG.
I have heard it doesn't get enough hot with NG and should use LPG. Any suggestions?
2 answers
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Majid, there is no heat difference between the fuel types, so a NG barbecue will suit your balcony just fine :)
Thanks for the response.
For Sailasked
I have a Weber Q 3100 and it does not have a temperature gaude in the lid. How do I fir a genuine Weber temperature gauge?
2 answers
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Sail, you can't fit one in the lid if there isn't a spot for it. Your options could be to either purchase an external thermometer (like our iGrill range, Snapcheck or Instant Read thermometers), OR you can purchase a premium model lid from our head office via 1300 301 290.
I'll drill a hole in the lid and fit an after market thermometer.

Hello,
The gas hose on my Weber family Q Q320 requires changing. I have a replacement hose and before beginning I thought it would be a great idea to ask for some instructions just in case it isn't as simple as it appears to be.
Are you able to provide any instructions?
Or is it as simple as unscrewing the old hose and connecting the new one?
Thanks for you help!
Mick from North Melbourne

Hi Mick I have never had to change mine as its new but looks simple just make sure gas bottle is turned off. Let out any extra gas then attach new hose.
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Mick, is it a genuine Weber hose? You should have got some instructions with it if that was the case. If you would like any further help, let us know and we can send you some more detailed instructions :)
Sean R.asked
Hi I purchased a Weber Q and accessories before Xmas 2018 and love it. But on this past weekend I notice the Weber Large Fry pan handle had a crack on both side of the lock system on the handle. The plastic on one side broke off and the other side you can see it cracking. It looks like a fault in manufacture as I use it with great care, its only just 6 month old. Sean from Freshwater NSW

Sorry Sean. I have noT experienced this issue as I don't have one of those fry pans.
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Sean, that doesn't sound normal! If you wouldn't mind taking a few photos and emailing us at [email protected] we can sort this out for you. Thanks!
I used my frypan for the first time and the handle cracked up by the pin. Replacement coming. Is this a common fault? one time user... ???

What size jets are fitted in the NG (natural gas) Family Q ? It will state this on the decal on the back of the cook box. Cheers Sonny

Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Sonny, are you looking at getting a NG Family Q model? We don't give out the jet sizes, but we're happy to help in any way we can if you need. Thanks
Hi, I want to convert my LPG Family Q to a NG version. I know you provide a service to complete this though it is too expensive for what is required. Thanks
Dylanasked
Has anyone else experienced their cook box expand and their grill plates fall in?
I seem to spend most of the time trying to get the plates to sit, so as to stop them ending up on top of the burners.
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Dylan, it sounds like your cookbox has warped. This can either be from a flare up/fire, or because the Q has got too hot in an incorrect area (if there is a build up of debris in the cookbox bottom for example). We can help though, so if you wouldn't mind can you please email your serial number, images of the damage and your contact details to [email protected] and we can go from there. Thanks!

Hi David, there are NG Family Q's available, as well as LPG. We also offer conversion services for people who want to swap between the two. If you'd like more info, please let us know.
