Incredible !
I have a toddler and this vacuum does the job amazing ! I vacuum easily 3 times a day and absolutely love using this vacuum! It never leaves any trace of crumb behind it literally picks up everything! And comes with multiple different heads ! You can also control how powerful you want it to be ! Love !

One fatal flaw
Good vacuum for general use. But - how on earth do you change the heads? It takes two fit people to remove and change the attachment, before continuing the job! I am 77 and am simply not strong enough, especially when the attachment has been pushed on hard by use. Surely someone might have noticed this and installed a quick-release system? I am back to using my old $40 Volta whose wheels fell off years ago. At least I can use it.
Housework should not be so difficult!

Great Vacuum, powerful motor
This vacuum is excellent at picking up everything, including tuff to remove pet hair from lounges and rugs. Great on carpets and hard floors and moves behind user with ease. The only downside is its weight, and being slightly akward to store. Other than that its perfect and highly recommended for animal owners.

It is great, just difficult to manoeuvre
This is a great vacuum, perfect for a dusty house, and would be ideal for someone with a pet. We use it as the house gets quite dusty, and I have very long hair, so its great for cleaning this all up, and the vacuum doesn't get blocked or the head doesn't get stuck with lots of hair and threads from around the house. It is just difficult to manoeuvre around the house, and corners especially

very efficient
1 year ago bought my first new vacuum cleaner in more than 30 yrs.. (prev was Electrolux). Was impressed with performance and so light weight. Bagless is a bonus and able to see what one is picking up. Has options for carpet or hard floor, tho am able to use one tool for both. Lots of accessories, more than I need in a small place, and machine itself is excellent - suction superb. Reasonably quiet.
Bought from Godfrey's as was convenient to me and was very pleasant experience - also thought right place to go as specialist in vacuum cleaners. Huge range and almost overwhelmed for choice!! Notice that this model now discontinued, so hope spares ( if needed) will be available later.

Very reliable product
It is light and very good, cleans very good because of strong suction, cleans big 4 bedroom house. Cleans all the hair on the carpet and because of attachments easy to clean the car as well. I am very happy and satisfied with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone and suitable for large area carpets in the house.

Most definitely can live with out vacuum
Hello to those people who have bought w2500 dog & cat. It came with 3 different heads one for carpet and tiled floors and another head that is small enough to get into small places. Requires emptying frequently. Has a 2500 watt motor does a great cleaning job. But vacuum has quite a few places on vacuum to clean. I paid $99 it's been discontinued.

puzzled by comments Wertheim w2000
Some of the comments here surprise me.
First my local Godfreys store in Melbourne east suburb have always been good even though I did not buy vacuums off them. Still they obtained spares, fixed them if broken etc. I have used volta, hoover, vax nilfisk vacuums, but never sauber or meile.
This time I bought from Godfrey's the above model. Finish good but plastic like all of them these days, Material appears reasonably strong and machine has plenty of attachments. Suction excellent - in fact so strong have to turn down the power a bit.

I don't like this vacuum
Good suction but the attachments are so hard to get off it takes the strength of two to change them. Hair just gets tangled and we have to constantly remove it from all the attachments. Good for carpet terrible for hard floors and even though our dog does not Shead or smell this vacuum leaves the house smelling like dog.

Great Suction, Poor Manoeuvrability
We went into the Godfrey's store needing a unit that would effectively pick up human (not pet) hair!!! With three daughters in the house, malting is an issue :) We were given a demo of this machine in store and were convinced by the sales lady that the Wertheim offered the same superior german manufacturing as Miele but without the hefty price tag. The suction on this machine is far superior to our previous vacuum, and the turbo head is fantastic at picking up our girls hair and providing a deeper clean, but I would agree with other comments re...Read more
garding the sub standard manoeuvrability of the unit. Without exception, every use involves it tipping on its side or flipping upside down. It is clearly not designed to effectively navigate corners or furniture. A definite improvement on our previous vacuum but mildly frustrating to operate & needs some further R&D invested into it to rectify issues with cornering.Similar opinion? Godfrey's u guys cheated me...
This is a absolute disaster. They should be ashamed of themselves, selling non-sense peice of craps like this; w2500. Suction is terrible. I dont know what to do with this now. Godfrey's sales guy said this is the best buy for 350 bucks. I will not buy anything from shop. Ever again.

Worst vaccuum ever
Seriously the worst vacuum I have ever used. Its used once a week in a 3br unit. It is not overworked. There is absolutely no suction. Forget that it is meant to be able to suck up dog and cat hair...this has no suction. I have never had a vacuum that has been more high maintenance than this. Firstly, I had to replace the body, as it stopped working completely. Then I had to replace the wand, because it wouldn't lock into place. The whole time, there has been limited suction. Today there is absolutely no suction at all. This is the last straw. I'm ditching it, and buying a cheap one from Kmart, or similar
Bought from Godfreys Eastgardens, Sydney for $200 18 months ago with bags thrown in for free.

Wertheim W2000 a good Product
If you don't mind bags It works exceptionally well. Read between the lines with some reviews as some people have unrealistic/wrong expectations about the product. I have been using mine and although I do not use many of the attachments they have all that is needed. It is a good vacuum cleaner, what more can I say

Excellent Vacuum
Firstly can I mention product review allows anyone to review and many reviews, including reviewers for this machine obviously don't own one.
One reviewer thinks it's rubbish because of the power head ..doesn't have one.Another reviewer claims no suction? On full you have some trouble dislodging from regular pile carpet. Noise level was deafening.. Next to a Dyson ..any Dyson it was whisper quiet it doesn't flip easily and I can't find any sharp edge as to cut myself on. Conclusion is some people may want to discredit some manufacturers so do y...Read more

2016 and we still can't get it right.
PROs - small, light weight, mid-price range $399, cool colour, easy to get to and clean filters. Small turbo head good for cleaning carpets in the car.
CONs - suction not even close to a dyson (although being sold to us as equal to or better), cord way too short (doesn't reach between power points so have to use extension cord), body shape is designed to catch on doorways and furniture (what were the designers thinking!), tips over with ease (grrr), tiny wheels constantly catching on its own cord, standard dual head is small and when vacuumi...Read more
ng shag-pile carpet the head tilts up so that it is not in contact with the carpet? Hard floor head just pushes dirt around the floor, turbo head for carpets just gets tangled in hair and does not pull dirt up any better than the useless standard head. The canister is soo small it fills up before completing a small house clean. The canister is difficult to empty, the dust and dirt get caught inside and you have to use your hand or shake the canister or open the top of the canister as well to clear it out (soo much for being allergy friendly, dust everywhere when emptying). The catches on the canister feel flimsy and cheap. At $399 thought we were buying a good midrange vacuum cleaner, would have been better off with a cheap $99 one, I am sure it would have ticked more boxes than this one.Similar opinion? Great vacuum!
I purchased this machine from Godfrey's Prahran and am very happy with it. It picks up hair and dust very well. I would recommend this vacuum as a good purchase, it's pretty light and compact to good for an apartments. Also the additional attachments are handy to clean things like the car and couch etc.

Biggest piece of rubbish I've ever used.
This vaccum is so badly manufactured that I literally have no idea what to write about this terrible vaccum cleaner. Hair gets caught and it's noisy, the cleaner brake on you, and they cord is so short that I barely can get out of one room with this thing. Heaps of maintenance. $450 down the drain. Might as well as get a cheap $50 homebrand one, at least it does the job.

Not terrible, Not fantastic either
Biggest problems:
-The thing just flips, doesnt manoeuvre.
-Turbo head is extremely noisy. My friend has a Miele and its turbo head is much quieter
-Had a problem with the clip that is on the inside of the lid. The spring fell out but i was able to put it back in place after going to godfreys again and looking at the clip inside the demo model.
It does get things done i just wish it is a bit more convenient

Best vacuum for pet hair.
This is the best vacuum if you have pets that shed hair and it can be stubborn to get out of rugs and carpet, but this vacuum is fantastic at doing that and it maneuvers well especially if you have sore hands and suffer with arthritis. My mum loves it and she has had one for 3 years and never had a problem.

Designed to pick up pet hair, but doesn't pick up pet hair
I read some reviews and it sounded like a good little vacuum cleaner. Light and easy to use. But I have 2 cats, one long-haired. I need to vacuum almost daily. Now I have to manually pick up cat hair as I vacuum, which is pretty silly considering this specifies it is for Dog and Cat Hair. Before this, I had a Miele for 15 years which did a pretty good job. Should have stuck with a Miele.

What alternative vacuum bag can I use please?
1 answer
Hi there, I didn't find an alternative bag, I replaced the vacuum cleaner with an old Miele. Still going strong

There's a light near the variable speed control. What's it for?
2 answers
How strong the suction is
As above, it is the suction indicator. However, if the light flashes it's letting you know that the bag is full and needs to be changed.
