Excellent!!
Great service and staff - contrary to what other reviewer says, I find independent writers to be well-received as long as they assist what is really an independent-style store with few staff - no fancy couriers or anything, no big advance payments. Simple, sweet, drop your books off to them and off you go.

Westbooks has poor service towards independent authors in WA
At first I was happy to receive a purchase order from Westbooks who orders on behalf of WA Public Libraries. That was the first and only time I was happy. From there, things just deteriorated, starting with no response from them when I sent them the invoice for payment. No word or payment from them during the alloted time, so I sent them a friendly reminder notice to pay their invoice. Still no word, after 3 weeks, so I sent them a second reminder notice. Again, no response, so I rang the company, & I finally received a reply. But not a single ...Read more
word of apology from the principal of the company. Finally, I received an email from their bookkeeper that promised payment. Well, I'll just have to verify that before I believe it. Beware, independent WA authors who intend to sell to libraries in WA, because Westbooks is the go between the authors/publishers and the libraries. They're the worst customer I've ever had so far. Everyone else I've dealt with have been prompt in their payment to me. Lack of professional courtesy and extremely slow in paying independent authors.Similar opinion?
