We have just purchased a WSF6608 Dishwasher. We have not been able to use it as every time we’d turn it on it comes up with the F5 error. Very disappointed. This is despite checking every hose and making sure of everything it says in the manual. Help please?

I have been very disappointed with my dishwasher not drying and have spoken to Electrolux twice and had a serviceman come out once. After the serviceman pulled a small piece of plastic (from packaging apparently) from the filter, the problem still has continued. Unfortunately organising repairs is difficult with my work situation and I had to cancel the next once. I have now realised that the rinse aid dispenser which has been filled once only since installing in January is still full. I can only assume there is a problem with the dispenser. Has anyone else had this problem? I have tried setting adjuster at different settings between 1 & 10 over the last couple of months and that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any feedback would be appreciated otherwise it is back to booking a serviceman and hoping I don’t have to cancel again.
Thanks.

I recently bought a WSF6606 dishwasher. I used the Eco cycle which initially ran as it should for 1.22 minutes. Now suddenly the cycle time has changed to 2.02 minutes. How can I change this back or re-set the machine to get back the proper cycle setting? Thanks you.

Had the Dishwasher installed two days ago.
After completing a 'Heavy' cycle I find the inside of the machine dripping wet.
Crockery dry but some cutlery had to be dried by hand. Rinse Aid setting on three. I've checked during the cycle and heating Ok. Machine appears not be venting correctly. Could this be a fault or am I missing something ?

Is your outlet hose blocked? The hose attachment on a pvc S-bend may need to be drilled open.

Hi Sherree,
Not sure what this error is as I haven’t had any problems with mine.
I’d would search the trusty Google for answers & if nothing helps on there then I would contact Westinghouse.
Sorry I couldn’t help

It’s the drain hose filter. A new drain hose for approximately $30 and all fixed.

Try hold down the start/pause button for 3 seconds to cancel the load then restart it. I think that’s what I did last time. Maybe check the manual if that doesn’t work I remember just button mashing till it turned off or start a weird shorter load

What does H01 mean. Is it on delay for 1 hour ?

3 answers

Hi Mini you are right on the ticket. The H01 displays when you opt for time delay. You reset it by START/PAUSE
and use either the+ or - sign to select a new delay time. Naturally you have to press the start/pause to activate your choice. I hope this answers your question.

Hiya, yes that's right. I find this function particularly useful over night. So I program the machine to start a couple of hours before I get up in the morning so that it's just finished and I can open it and let the steam out, rather than it staying in all night

Hi there. I've not seen this but apparently it is the Child Lock, you may have set it without realising it? The instruction book says: "In order to activate child lock, press “+” and “–” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. At this time, “CL” appears for 2 seconds on remaining time indicator. To inactive child lock, press “+” and “–” buttons again simultaneously for 3 seconds. “CL” will blink once." Hope you can deactivate it OK!

Its a draining fault, most likely the pipe is blocked or you need to clean the machine

Just happen to fix one with this code. Water in the bottom and wouldn't drain completely then error code came up. Cleared the hose where it was connected at the drain. Only 5 minutes work with a screwdriver. Peterp

Well you appear to have done everything according to the manual. Try calling their service centre and then write a review of how they helped you? One of the reasons I went for the Westinghouse was the number of positive reviews and the more I use it the more impressed I am.

I just rang the company, they also said that I did the right thing. They suggest to wait until the count down finishes as it has gone from H24 to h06 and hopefully it will fix the problem, otherwise I have to get a technician out. Fingers are crossed

H01-H24 is the delay time to turn on. simply cancel it

Hi,
So there is a water supply problem. If there is no kink there is a small filter in the supply line you might check? Other than that you might have to call their service centre. Cheers

Thanks I found the problem after posting. I had a little visitor who eat a wire going to a solinoid under the round circle of foam which I guess is a drip pad. Repaired the wires and all good and running well.
