Repair manuals are virtually impossible to find on the net. I am an electrician and cannot get a repair manual unless I am working for them.

What is your dishwasher problem? I might be able to nut it out for you.

WSF6606X (Stainless Steel)

Hi Just wondering if anyone can help me with some advice on what make of dishwasher I should purchase. I live in Melbourne Victoria and will be buying from the good guys store. Looking at the Westinghouse WSF6606X and the Fisher & Paykel DW60CKX1. I expected to buy a Bosch seeing I bought one for my mum about 5 years ago and it hasn't missed a beat but after looking at the new model with a plastic bottom which I was advised to stay well away from. The F&P seems to be more efficient than the Westinghouse but i would rather have a reliable machine than more water and power wise. Noticed that the F&P is made in China I think and the Westinghouse made in Turkey, its only if you spend over 1K you get a Europe made machine. Can anyone please give me some advice on these models or any other under the 1K mark? I will be definitely be paying for the extra 3-year warranty, Cheers Frank.

Hi. I have the Westinghouse & LOVE IT!!!!
I've had Asko, Simpsons, Miele before & wouldn't buy any of them again!!!
This cleans so well. I have 5 children with their partners & 9 grandkids so I really put it through their paces. Never skips a beat.
Good luck. We did buy Wedtinghouse 900 stove & ceramic cooktop & Rangehood. Love them all.

My WSF6606X worked on an empty test run.. Now it flashes F5 error during wash cycle. What causes this?

Sorry Mark. I didn't encounter this issue with mine.

Hi Mark,
You can download the manual from the Electrolux site which is Westinghouse.
F5 means 'Water Fault'
It says to make sure the water tap is open.
Close the tap, disconnect the hose & clean the filter at the tap.
Check the inlet hose is not kinked.
If error continues contact the service centre.
I hope this helps Mark. Let me know how you get on.
Cheers Sheree

We have been using powder in the soap cavity - have had no problems - the shape of the cavity allows you to use either.
We love the washer - very quiet - enjoy !!

Sorry for slow reply - have been overseas. You've probably already worked this out but just incase, it's not an error but is a hold setting that comes up if you are using the time save program. Just use the minus sign to go back from 22 minutes to zero ... I had the same worry the first time I saw this too.
