Bitterly disappointed
Ordered two items off your website yesterday. They were both marked as “in stock” and my card was promptly charged for the items as well as delivery. Today (!!), after ale the charges, I got an email telling me one item is unavailable and call a 1800 number to cancel or modify. I called 6x, only to be cut off after the initial stupid greeting message. Have you heard of electronic stock level monitoring? Of customer service? Please refund my money, keep you items and I will source them elsewhere.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Such a let down!! Ordered multiple cups from the website. Was only delievered two and charged delivery. For weeks they emailed me saying the stock would come but then a week later they would email me and say they still havent fot the stock. I ordered these cups as an engagement gift so im so bloody embarrassed and dissapointed! So angry i payed delivery for cups i cant even gift anymore.when i called up to cancel the lady was RUDE and didn’t even apologise for everything!!! Ended up cancelling the order all together and now im stuck with two average cups. Great. Never shopping here again and recommend you dont either!!!

Disappointing product and frustrating customer service
Appalling customer service.
I have a WS non stick professional cookware set supposedly 10 times harder than stainless steel that I thought would last many many years. The coating is blistering and pitting despite never using metal utensils even though they say you can, and never putting it in the dishwasher even though it says dishwasher safe.
The set is just over 1 year old and it has a lifetime warranty.
I have now spoken to customer service 5 or 6 times, I have lost count. Every consultant tells me something different.

Ordered a set of Wusthof steak knives heavily discounted from the Australian site. Items were dispatched the next day, and received the following. Knife set awesome, impeccably wrapped, communications throughout whole process perfect. Had some doubts from the reviews I've read but no issues this end and would happily buy from them again. One of the best online purchase experiences I've had.

No goods received, no refund
I ordered an almost $1000 pot set from the Chadstone store to be delivered home, the store said that I would get it within 10 business days. It's been 4 weeks and I haven't received the set. I have called up each week with no update and no help. Complete nightmare. I asked for a refund and they said they need to wait for the warehouse to ship back the goods. Why does the customer have to wait for the warehouse to ship it back... I never got the goods... I feel scammed out of $1000...buyer beware, the store looks really high quality customer service but behind the scenes total nightmare. I would like this fixed, please don't ask me to call customer service, which I have 5 times and politely, unless you can actually help.

Bought a salt and pepper mill set for $80 from Williams Sonoma. The salt mill stopped working in 9 months. Williams Sonoma has not responded to my 2 emails regarding the faulty product.

Poor customer service and online service that this company has been provided.
I ordered a wok since March of 2022 but never arrived. I have been receiving mails from the customer service that kept cancelling my order without noticed me that the delivery date needed to be postponed. Awful customer 'service', product not delivered after 2 and a half months of trying to contact them to deliver!!!
Bread pans ordered in November. Not available to ship. Contacted them numerous times after proposed shipping date. Incorrect address supplied to shipper. 8 attempts to have them correct this, still no delivery. 4 emails telling me to contact DHL without a shipping number that I could actually use. Worse than hopeless. Insulting. Last email said 'well it's 3:42am and DHL is closed, so you need to ring them on...' Warm Regards, Cheri. Buy from anyone else. Don't pay for shipping.

Poor Service
Loved your hand wash and recommended a friend to buy. She ordered on line for yourself and me several bottles of hand wash and dishwashing.
When the order arrived there was no dishwashing. When she complained they sent her the dishwashing and charged her another $15 for freight. This miss shipment was the fault of W&S so why was she charged for this. Dishwashing finally arrived with lose cap and one third of liquid have gone into packaging.

Cancelled order without any notice blamed customer for mistake
I initially purchased an item and the order was cancelled due to an error with my account. I received a missed call from Williams Sonoma with no voicemail or email sent regarding the issue. After realising the payment had failed and nothing had been sent I repurchased the item 3 weeks later.
There was no shipment notice after 2 weeks and the funds were confirmed as processed via PayPal.

Online Shopping Experience Very Poor
Ordered Christmas presents early Dec to allow for extra shipping time. Order is still 'Pending Fulfilment' weeks later and no updates from them. Called customer service and they said it had moved from the warehouse to shipping but couldn't tell me anything further, and couldn't guarantee it would arrive before Christmas.
I would never shop online with them again.

Poor customer service - misleading on website
Ordered 3 items on line which were all listed as "available to ship". Called after 2 weeks to see what the status of the order was and customer service team could not provide any information about the status of the order. Called three more times over next 2 weeks, finally told that all the items are on back order and would not be available until 4 months after the original order date. Website was misleading about availability of products and customer service team could provide no support whatsoever. Have shopped at Williams-Sonoma in the US for many many years, but the Australian operation is HOPELESS. Will spend my money elsewhere.

Slow to ship items
I have purchased 3 times with Williams Sonoma, each time the amount of time it had taken my offers to be shipped has increased, with my last order taking weeks to be dispatched for items which were supposedly in stock when their website advertises 3 days for in stock items to be dispatched. Talk about false advertising. Terrible customer service and overpriced products
Products are overpriced and not worth the money. For one of the smaller products I was ordering, I found it difficult to determine via the website which of the designs I was actually ordering - and ended up ordering the wrong product. I tried contacting customer service a number of times via email and phone call to follow up on concerns I had with an online order - there was no response to my emails and no one picks up the phone! I do a lot of online shopping/ordering and this is the worst experience I have had for sometime. When i received one of the products - the price tag on the product was half the price I paid for it online (even though it was 'on special' online).

Product doesn't exist
First time I have ordered online from Williams-Sonoma - I wish I had looked at the reviews beforehand. When I try to track my order, it says it is pending - but they've taken the money out of my credit card. I can't get an answer by phone or email. Safe to say, like other reviewers have pointed out, they just don't have the stock, despite saying otherwise. Best to pay a few more dollars from someone who has stock - never had this issue with Everten in Australia.

Lack of customer service
I hadn't been in the Williams-Sonoma store in Chatswood for over two years, and my how it has changed. I spent about half an hour in the store looking at all the beautiful things and not one retail assistant greeted me or offered assistance.

Buyer Beware- false website stock
Back in April I placed an order for some lodge skillets. Currently now stating item due in late November which will make it 7 months since I placed my order. I guarantee you item will never arrive.
Every month the item shifts a month on when the product is due in.
False advertisement and very poor customer service.
You have to chase them up or go online to find out that date has changed.
Reading other reviews many, many customers have had the exact same complaints.

Never received my order or the item was always back ordered
I ordered a few kitchen utensils back in June and ever since then I have been receiving emails saying the items have been back ordered. I emailed them a week ago to find out what has been happening and have not heard anything back. Very disappointed and would never purchase items from this store again
