Rarely have I got a bargain and not often value for money for wines I bought online from Wine Market. It appears that Wine Market flogs left over wines from well known and reputed wineries, bottled especially from them. It is close to buying a Rolex watch made in Hong Kong from an online shop with praises for the item being from the genuine supplier. Thus the wine is not quite to the mark that the first cut of the wine from the reputed winery.

I like WineMarket. I subscribe to WineSelectors for a 3 monthly premium mix and buy the quaffers off WineMarket. I have never really had a delay in delivery although sometimes slow or a real stinker of a wine even when I have purchased some of the bottom end wines like 12 for $69.00 delivered. For $5.75 a bottle you cannot expect Grange but you will still get drunk and some of the friends I have around and they way they put it down you can't afford to be paying $20.00 a bottle from the bottle o. The only complaint I have is that they call me a bit often trying to sell me wines.

On 4 separate occasions, 3 in the last month, I have ordered wine that after 2 weeks of not showing up I contacted WineMarket and was told the wine had sold out and consequently was no longer available to me. This is after having taken my money, continued to offer the wine for sale for at least a few days after my order was confirmed and they said was on its way; the only way I found out on each occasion that the wine was sold out was after I rang them. At no time did they contact me, they were happy to sit on my money. One occasion was a supposed resend of the same wine that previously hadn't shown up, and this didn't show up either and is now unavailable. Purchase elsewhere!

Have been a customer for the last couple of years, some good some ordinary wines, price usually good - last order was a case of mixed whites (one dozen plus one as advertised ie; 13 bottles) one bottle short, informed Wine Market and given a voucher for the missing bottle. Have just attempted to redeem the voucher but told it has already been redeemed - not so. Not happy, many other sites out deliver much better wines, and service.

Purchased the Chateau Tanunda Eden Valley Chardonnay and was very disappointed with it....I rang Chateau Tanunda direct who told me that the wine is completely different to their Chateau Tanunda Eden Valley....it seems Winemarket are parading cheaper wines as equal to the real wines available direct from the winery.
The box was a plain cardbord box with a name stencilled on it
Be careful what you order....check it out with the winemaker first !!!

ordered a 13 bottle special of sav blancs arrived within a week. quality wines. will buy again if same offer comes up. far cheaper than dan murphys. les

2 deliveries still waiting to be delivered........ Somewhere.
It's a shame I have to give you such a poor rating but if I don't have the delivery, I can't rate it!
Get a better deliverer.

Don't bother with WINEMARKET, totally useless. I ordered a dozen wines as part of a birthday present and they just stuffed it up completely. It was despatched 4 weeks ago and just didn't get here. Their great deals aren't great if they don't make it to your door.I bet if they didn't get paid till it was delivered the story would be different.

Purchase date, the 4th of the month. Notified on the 16th of the month that my purchase has been shipped.

We are located just 15 minutes outside Canberra in Murrumbateman, hardly what you would call in the sticks. I order wine from various online companies and most arrive within the week. WineMarket deliveries are the slowest by a country mile taking on average just over 2 weeks to deliver. The latest delivery that I am still waiting for is now 4 weeks overdue. I rang customer service, couldn't care less and fobbed me off telling me to ring the courier myself. I have emailed them numerous times and never yet had a reply. I will not be buying wine from WineMarket again and would advise anyone else out there thinking of using this company to think again.

I am sure there are lots of people that have delays with WineMarket delivery. I for one have ordered from them exactly 6 times and received the order within a few days each time.

Their prices can be very good but you need to know your product prices. Don't be fooled by the email specials, some are good, some not so much. My trick is to keep my eye out for a good deal then wait for their "20% off" or $20 off specials and then buy. Never failed me....

They said it had been delivered but nothing arrived. Someone was even home at the time. They have not responded to any of my emails - they're not bothered about customer service either.

Placed an order 12/6, and today is 25/6 and still no sign of my order. I called customer service and they said there is a backlog and the order might arrive sometime next week. Apparently my case is sitting on a pallet in a train station somewhere for the last week. They did not think to advise customers, and apparently only found out about the delay in their logistics when customers started calling them to complain.
They act like they are doing you a favour instead of delivering the service that they have already been paid for.
Unless you don't care when or if your order will arrive, do not bother with this company.
I've also used Vinomofo, and have not had this issue to date.

I made an order almost a week ago for a business and have just been informed that there was a glitch on the website and what I ordered was no longer available. After much discussions and absolute time wasting Wine Market couldn't offer me the same quantity as what I originally paid for even though it was their mistake. Very disappointing that a company could be so inflexible and unaccommodating given it was their mistake. Will not be using them again.

omg...just as well I have a Dan Murphys nearby!!!! I have been waiting well over 2 weeks now & I do not live out in the sticks!!! I live on the Gold Coast - cant imagine that I will use WineMarket again. This was a purchase through Groupon...don't do it

I regularly order from the Winemarket and am very pleased with the swift delivery time. The prices are fantastic and the wine always arrives within the week.
