Students at the University of WA need to be aware that the Apple subsidiary Winthrop Australia, that is in the guild complex on their campus is a rip off without warning.
My daughter brought her 2015 Macbook there for a battery as the Winthrop shop is mentioned on the Apple website as a subsidiary for repairs and parts. The battery was not charging anymore after 4 years, hardly a surprise. The person took her computer and charged 66$ for a test of the computer.
