I can’t say a bad word as I have been with you for a number of years, great service and price wise. Easy to set up.
Roadside assistance was superb.
Haven’t lodged a claim for quite a few years.

Nearly made a profit

Had three windscreen claims in three years - Allianz paid without trouble each time. It pretty near used up all my premium, so I am happy with their quick settlement and lack of hassle.

This is a good insurance option that covers most things. You can pick and choose variants to cover.
It would be great if it offered free roadside assistance like other companies do but it does not have an option to even pay extra for roadside assist, unless anything has changed recently.
The bonus is you get to choose your own repairer if needed.

After the F/C renewal arrived and i saw the increase i was tempted to try elsewhere but i thought what the hell just renew it everything always goes up. So next year i just might check around. I also have never made a claim surely thats worth something.??

I am a loyal customer of Alliance but I rang your company about the cost of the renewal of the policy. You then dropped the price. Why wasn't I given the best price in the renewal document?

Renewed at a lower price (marginally) than year before

It’s not often an insurance renewal is cheaper than year before - but this time it was about 5$ cheaper. So I stuck with Allianz. I am assuming they have not removed any significant part of my cover.

Premium increase

At this stage where other insurance companies have paused the premium increanse or providing 15-20% discount for next few months, Allianz has increased the price of the policy by 10% at this difficult times.

When we were sent our renewal reminder it only had a policy number, it would be appreciated if they could give a description of what was insured (such as a registration number)as we have 3 cars and our house and contents through this company. It is a little hard to keep up with only policy numbers

Refund like its 1999

Moved over to Hug, as the savings were fantastic. So closed all my other insurance policies. 10 days later, wonder where Allianz refund is, as all other insurers I dealt with refunded within 72 hrs? Phone up and get told it takes 15 business days, with weekends thats about 1,400 hrs +. Oh and due to Covid-19 post could take longer!

It's 2020 guys not 1999, who sends a cheque anyway? I paid electronically, all other insurance companies refunded promptly electronically into the bank account I requested.

Shame in this day and age some dinosaurs still exist. Ah well we know what happened to them,, don't we?

Prompt reliable and friendly customer service

I have always been very satisfied with Allianz client service - they make your claims a priority and give you all the facts and are not critical if you have been in the wrong. Policies are very easy to set up with no complicated questions. I have been with Allianz in excess of 5 years now and find their rates very competitive - claims have been handled very promptly and efficiently. I will be a continuing client for sure.

Unable to review as I have yet to make a claim

I have yet to make a claim, so it is difficult to review properly. I did NOT appreciate the 13% increase in cost that was applied. It took an angry phone call to get this partially ameliorated.

yes good value, although during Covid 19, I am working from home and would have liked other options presented to change or adjust policy. I only drive my car once a week now and have moved to a more rural setting, which again wonder if my insurance should be cheaper. I would really appreciate someone looking at my policy and seeing what adjustments could be made, this is probably the downfall of automatically renewing policy as you don't talk to anyone who may offer to adjust your service

My policy renewal is nearing. I am a front line health worker who uses my vehicle to carry vulnerable people for work purposes. I inquired about receiving a bill reduction on the ground of compassion. My emails have been ignored. Two phone calls made where either no one answered, or I was asked to leave an email
