Shocking service. No follow up to my "lost product in their warehouse"
Tracking information is inaccurate on the app and not updated even though they tell you to check on the app for updates. What updates?
My 2nd item of 2 is lost (1st item, both received into their warehouse together, was delivered 8 days ago)... There has been no follow up or care factor. I was told a complete search of the warehouse would be done and it would take 48 - 72 hours and that I would be contacted once that was done.
I called back 4 days later, because no-one bothered to call me back, to be told that they would now escalate it to ...

Worst freight experience I've experienced in years
Allied Express picked up a "mattress in a box" from Sydney, to be delivered 400km away to Port Macquarie. Their "customer facing" tracking system is woeful, as it has been showing as still in Sydney for the 8 days since picking it up. I've called their customer service and they've been unable to shed any light on its whereabouts. It was supposed to be an overnight delivery, but 8 days later I'm still none the wiser as to when it will be delivered. Compare that to Direct Freight Express, who managed to deliver a bike to me - from Sydney - in 2 days.

Long Delivery Times and Did Not Deliver to my Door!
I would not recommend Allied Express.
In my opinion they are the worst Courier company I have ever had dealings with,
The only positive thing is the item arrived in good condition.
The sender was assured Door to Door Delivery and 2-3 days transit time.
It took two weeks to receive my parcel and it was definitely not Door-to-Door,
Door-to-door delivery is especially import to me because I do not drive,
I had a text from the delivery driver saying he had dropped off my parcel at a service station 12kms from my home.
I phoned him and asked if he could possibly deliver the parcel to my house,...
Read moreHe replied: "Not worth my while, I don't get paid enough to come out to your area." I found his response to be very dismissive and unhelpful. So I had to walk 12km to the service station and then take my parcel home on the school bus! Luckily the school bus driver was very helpful and the parcel and I arrived home safely. It was also raining, so I needed to buy a sheet to cover the package. I will never use this service again and would advise people to be wary of trusting your deliveries to a company that are not quick and have poor customer service.

Very happy with new TV
Purchased a new TV on Thursday night 5/5/22 at 7pm. I wasn't expecting it to arrive so quickly. The TV was coming from Sydney to Adelaide and was delivered on the Monday 9/5/22 at 11am. On this experience I would highly recommend Allied Express.

Avoid at all costs. If I wanted rudeness I'd call Rodney... zero stars
Hung up on numerous times..professionalism is non existent manners would be nice... still no answers ... avoid avoid avoid I know we have all been thru tough times but no need for abruptness

0star if I could choose
I have back injury so I rely mostly online shopping and delivery to my front door at first floor. I ordered from Kmart online, one very heavy shelf parts they used allied express to do the delivery, the guy refused to deliver it properly to my front door and just left it at the ground floor.
I hope this company would offer their staff some proper tools that help with the lifting, so they can do tge delivery properly.

CAKE TAKERS FOR WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Parcel 2 weeks late, when questioned blame on forwarding company, On forwarding company go above and beyond to track my parcel that ended up 8 hours away in the opposite direction to me, allied express continue to lie about its location. Screen shot is sent of parcel in a depot 8 hours away. When confronted & apology requested for on forwarding company, they accuse me of swearing and name calling their staff & hang up on me numerous times.
Never ever again. What a horrible bunch of people to deal with

Zero, absolute zero.
If you are an online business owner who needs a reliable courier partner, don't put your customers into the hands of these guys.
Its OK for these guys to keep the parcel in their depot for 3 weeks and wait for your customers to complain.
I could not imagine a less competent delivery operation.
I have never had a less competent delivery experience.
For a package shipped from Sydney to Adelaide which normally takes about 2 days here is the status after almost 2 weeks.
1. Allied took almost a full week to pick up the package to begin with.
2. The status on the tracking switches to "The package has been misdirected - our support and operations are working to resolve this"
3. I reach out via email and receive a response 3 hours later saying the package is en route to Adelaide.
4. by day 6 of no tracking updates I phone up and am told ov...

Useless
This has to be the worst platform to order items, no communication,slow, and seller cancel after waiting for 1 month. 0 star/useless platform Do not use. First time i wrote a review that is full of negative.
Rude and unhelpful staff, late delivery
Package did not arrive on time, called the hotline and the person I spoken with call was rude, unhelpful, unprofessional and even hung up on me, do not use this service

Rude and Unhelpful Service
Tried to reach out as to when my delivery is to be delivered and was delayed over and over throughout the day. It was delayed from 10am to 1-3pm and to 3-5:30pm. By this time the office had closed and no contact can be made. Was told that delivery runs are made within office hours which is reasonably 9-5:30pm. Driver apparently arrived for delivery at 7:49pm by this time no one was home.. WTH even delivers items at this time? Called the next day only to be hanged up on by their “fantastic at their job for being rude and useless” receptionists who couldn’t even tell you what the status of the delivery is or even try to fix the issue at hand.
Never using this service for delivery ever again.

My experience with Allied Express and Transdirect.
Well they picked up promptly. Unfortunately was a busy time and my parcel was misdirected to another state depot. it took a little while for them to find the parcel and redirect it, but they did answer my inquiry and the customer service rep I spoke to was helpful and polite. Transdirect ( who I organised the delivery through were helpful and all was resolved to my satisfaction. Given the amount of freight that they move and considering it was over a holiday period ( Easter/then Anzac day) I feel that I could not have asked for better. I would have given them full marks if the misdirection had not happened, but these things do happen.
Useless delivery company
Ordered a product from a company that uses Allied express on the 8th of March. After 2 months and countless emails and calls the product still hasn’t arrived. They are absolutely no help whatsoever and seem to be very incompetent with everything. Annoying poor customer service, I can’t believe how useless they are

Fast delivery
Great experience with Allied and driver 724 Sans Souci area. Picked up 19/4 delivered in 2 days, way earlier than indicated. Driver came right to the door. Tracking app shows what suburbs he goes to on your delivery day. Awesome to get a company and driver who just do a good job and makes me happy to do a good review. Thanks! Offered him a $10 tip but he declined, nice bloke.
PS can you time wasters who wants a delivery on your door step, make sure driver can get access.

What is wrong with you people ?? do you have no shame
Wondering why my Spa package has been sitting at The Port Melbourne Depot for 12 days now ? I've been lied to twice telling me that it was at my local depot ?? But couldn't tell me what Courier Depot that was meant to be....hmmmm After calling Catch again before they told me that they will investigate it and that it was still in the Port Melbourne Depot. Don't understand why I was lied to by both a Catch staff member and an Allied Express Staff member saying that it was at my local depot and should be delivered with a couple of days ... So tomorrow is Friday ...still haven't received it yet so as Allied only deliver m-f 9am-5pm...and not weekends.... I will be ringing yet again if it's not here . Cant keep blaming covid etc for late deliveries..... especially when Xmas is only a couple of weeks away,why aren't Allied putting more staff on,or extend the delivery hours and for delivering over the weekend as well if things are so bad. Plenty of people wanting jobs . So what's the excuses???? .
