Our new home.
Firstly, let me say that Christine and I are very happy with our new home.
Allworth’s tradesmen performed fantastically well under some very adverse weather conditions, COVID, and material shortages to name a few.
Their approach to our construction was exemplary and they could not help us enough with any small problems that arose during construction.
I would also like to thank our Supervisor, the Office Staff, Engineering staff and the Certifiers for their assistance during this stressful period.
Apart from a few minor things to complete, Christine and I would have no hesitation in recommending Allworth’s to any of our friends considering building a new home, again, many thanks, Graeme and Christine Aggett.

Disappointing Builder
Build with Allworth 4 years ago and had few issues which they come back and say your out of warranty. Both showers in the bathrooms need replacing, both mirrors in bathroom need replacing as the mirror is starting to peel, taps in both bathrooms need replacing as they have started to spot on the metal. Our roof is leaking which has caused out beams to rot and have mould on both the beams and sarking. According to them that's part of our property maintenance that we should be looking in the roof and not structural. I have spoken with fair tradi...
Read moreng who advised that the roof leak is part of the structure. The water has leaked all in my main bedroom. This builder has become the biggest disappointment and I would not recommend them at all. Their comeback to all the problems is out of warranty. Our house was the first one to be built of its design and was a complete rush job as there were 2 houses that Allworth were building one up the road and one in the next street and talking to the owners their builds were done extremely well as their mate works for Allworth- Customer Service

Take no responsibilities of defects, what so ever!
We decided to build with Allworth back in 2015/16 when on product review they had better rating. 4.5 years into the building shower leaks into bedroom and Allworth puts their hands up. On many occasions they neglect our request by saying it is an owner maintenance, give that issue was not resolved from the first day.
They are grown big, but unable to hire or improve maintenance team, hence unable to handle the maintenance defects. Today I understand how they end up building house so cheaper.
Finally we got what we pay for, house is made once so better stay away from such dodgy builders. If you can trust this is 4.5 years old house.

Will not fix defects and not respond to emails for 4 years
I had a home build. There are multiple major defects including waterproofing being cut out and tiled over. No falls in bathrooms so water sits on the floor. Major brick overhang from slab some areas 40mm.
Water pipes being run in the cavities. Repairs estimated $70000 to repair all issues. If you build with allworth get your own consultant report prior to handover.

Fantastic- Allworth Renwick
Just completed my first home with Allworth. I chose them because my family had built a few homes in the southern highlands with Allworth. From start to finish I was met with professionalism and dedication to helping me out on my journey. The prices were clear and upfront and seemed like great value, I opted for lots of extras and the home has a very premium feel about it. The ladies in the Renwick office were always greeting you with a smile and left no questions unanswered and I had A LOT of questions. The build time was spot on, even with sup...
Read moreply issues due to Covid. The site manager Steve was very easy to contact and very informative, he made sure everything ran smoothly. The finished works are of high quality and standard and I couldn't be more happy with my new home. Thankyou Allworth and thankyou Renwick team.- Customer Service

Post Build Blues
Two years and so many things are faulting. Taps, door locks, mirrors peeling etc. Their response? ''We've done enough for you. We won't be fixing anything else.'' ''It's out of warranty". ''Contact the manufacturer".
Think long and hard before you sign any contracts with these builders. The build was a nightmare from start to finish. They feel like I am privileged to have had so many things fixed. They shouldn't have broken in the first place. Worse customer service by those in charge (although some of the staff tried very hard).
I would never recommend building with Allworth Homes after my experience.

Excellent builder with fair pricing and efficient construction methods
We recently built a Newport 5 Bedroom+Guest through Allworth Thornton, and couldn't be happier with the way the build went, and the professionalism of the sales team in the Thornton office. Nothing was a problem, and cost variations were all very fair and reasonable compared with the horror stories we've heard of other home builders! The build itself was very fast, coming in 11 weeks ahead of contract schedule. The quality of the home is faultless, and no corners have been cut anywhere. Their trades are very professional, and are always happy t...
Read moreo work with you on those finer details. Without a doubt, Allworth's biggest downfall is the quality of their marketing material, and a lot of houses they build (including ours) aren't even on the website. We'd happily recommend Allworth to anyone, and definitely suggest making contact with their sales team if there's nothing on the website that looks like what you are after.- Customer Service

Love our home
If you go to the display homes on days they are not busy and ask nicely the staff will walk through the house of your choice and tell you exactly what is or isn't included in the package you are considering. Our single story Harmony entertainer was built in 18 weeks. Everyone was helpful and we even had money returned to us from the provisional costs at the end of the build.
The only complaints I have is the Omega appliances are appalling, the dishwasher door pitted with rust within 2 weeks even though I only cleaned it with specialty stainles...

The team from Karen in sales, Tanya in Administration, to the construction supervisors Graeme and Matt where outstanding. They always keep the communication channels open and keep us up to date with progress.

Absolutely Amazing!
Allworth have been nothing short of exceptional. We moved into our Concerto in Katoomba 3 weeks ago. The build was so efficient (4 months) and Glen Cameron the supervisor was sensational. He kept us up to date and he had high standards with the finished product. The one minor issue we had (a light fixture) was fixed overnight. The design is one of their older designers however it is fantastic and we love the 2 separate living areas. The Concerto is everything we wanted. 10/10. We can’t thank you guys enough. A big thank you to Lisa at Marsden Park for helping us pick the design to suit us. Allworth went above and beyond from Lisa at Marsden Park to Glen at handover. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Very unpleasant experience
My build was made extremely unpleasant by aggressive and/or dismissive site supervisors. The sales staff misled me on inclusions. The administrative staff treated me like I was a nuisance. It took six months to start the build after the land registered. Communication with senior management when there were issues was at times threatening. While the actual home seems to have been well built at this stage, and it was completed in 19 weeks, the 'provisional' costs blew out alarmingly. Buyer beware, the word 'provisional' gives legal licence to charge whatever the invoice supplied says it cost (no other proof of cost required), + 20% builders mark up. Find another builder.

Notworth
So over all we built the house in 2013 and I love the house. Loved the inclusions and being our first build in sydney, price wise it was great, but you know the saying you get what you pay for.
Basically our house had a small gas leak which became evident 2 years and 9 months after hand over.
There was a hole in the gas lines which was leaking through the pantry ceiling (natural gas rises as the plumber explained to us, The heating and expanding wouldve made the hole bigger overtime making the gas leak gradually bigger). the plumber took the ga...

Couldn't be happier
Just completed my second build with Allworth. The customer service at the Thornton office was outstanding. Supervisor was great and always kept me updated. Got handover ahead of schedule and no issues with the build what so ever! High quality and fantastic price. I will definitely be building house number 3 with Allworth and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic Team!
I would like to thank you all for your input in constructing my Allworth home and highly recommend Allworth Homes to anyone wanting to build a new home.
Karen at the Thornton sales office was of great help and full of ideas. I would like to congratulate my site supervisor Kane who completed my home to a high standard and was fantastic help. Nothing was too much trouble for him and any minor issues were dealt with very quickly which was impressive. When the 3 months maintenance period came around, Mick was great fixing minor issues and repairs and again nothing was too much trouble to rectify. From start to finish Allworth were very professional and were a fantastic team.
Thanks Allworth.
