I ordered two items 2 months ago, still waiting, dispatched one of them a month ago, have not received it. The other one is on back order but no estimated delivery dates provided. WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER.

Terrible. Simply terrible.
Order a radio. theys ent the wrong colour. Returned the radio, they claimed to ahve a backlog in processing returns,a nd consequently woudl not send out a replacement until processed. They therefore missed Mothers Day (it was supposed to be a gift). Refund promised time and time again. Eventually asked my credit card provider to refund,a dn charge back the company. Customer Service Manager refused to speak to me, and I was in no way offesive or abusive. SHAME ON YOU!!!

I paid for this product around 20th of November 2010 too, waiting waiting WAITING for the delivery - then I was informed until 1 month later that it was discontinued, only AFTER I sent a query to them! slack!

I was quite happy with my purchase from always on sale. I ordered a heap of Sheridan Egyptian cotton towels which were at a good price and they are the softest towels I have ever owned, I also bought a clothes iron at half the retail cost and it is excellent. The one drawback is that delivery takes three to four weeks as they don't keep the items in stock and order them on demand which was stated at their site. The items themselves though were great quality and exactly as described and at very good prices so it was worth the wait to get them.

I stumbled across this website while looking for a Saxon telescope and found there prices to be awesome, so I bought one, then i decide to search for the website again the next day as I didn't bookmark it, and I found these reviews, I had a read and thought I had done my dough here, but to my surprise the product I ordered turned up around 10 days after ordering it, so I was quite happy with that, it could of been quicker but still Ok in my eyes, especially after reading all the bad dealings with this mob everyone else had.

The prices offered by this site, whilst reasonable do not justify the lack of efficiency in delivery or support offered by this website. I am an active online shopper and have been extremely dissapointed with my experience with this website. I have also found the goods cheaper at a local newsagent, so their claims of a slower delivery in order to keep costs down, I find questionable. Never buy from this website again. I waited over 4 weeks and then rang for ETA, the blame was put on Aust post. I still have not received my goods and No refund has been offered. Buyers beware. There are much better ecommerce sites out there.

Exactly the same problem as you Mitchger. Ordered presents on the 7th of December and it wasn't until after you enter your card details and the order is processed that they actually inform you of the 15 working day delivery time frame. I rang them to complain with no joy. I cannot believe that a so called reputable company could treat their customers in this manner. Its absolutely disgusting and I will be doing everything in my power to warn friends and family to not order anything via this website. I feel a facebook led smear campaign against this company coming on!
The website seems professional at first glance.
They trap their customers into purchasing with out clearly displaying the full terms and conditions.

I placed and order for Christmas and was informed after hitting confirm that the delivery time was 15 business days. I called immediately and requested to cancel the order (2 minutes later) because it would be useless as a gift if it were to turn up AFTER Christmas and was told that there was no way they could do that.

ordered before reading reviews and thought the worst. no communication from AOS didn't help, a tracking number would have been good. they run a low-cost business model, so it looks like once they've got your money they go out and buy it wholesale - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. if they can't get it i can see why refunds would be tricky.

i probably wouldn't order from them again. only posting to let others know you should get your order, just don't expect to get it any quicker than 3 weeks.
got a sony blu-ray s760 player for $265, which is about $380 less than list price. it arrived after 15 business days, as agreed. so the product's great.

the fact that they take your money never forward goods as they never have them in the first place and then you have to fight it out with incompetant people for 3 months to get refund.

terrible service, took 3 weeks to receive a labeller that was missing 2 the tape and pen, so obviously didnt work, said wouldn't refund, after numerous phone calls, said would refund after i sent back, i sent back 3weeks ago and still no refund. keep leaving messages but no one responds.

slow delivery, used baiting to gain customers, poor customer service, tedious refund process which included an automated email with a link to "track" your refund, which doesn't work. No contact with me with regard to not being able to fill my order either. I should have had the chance to have a full refund rather than just 1 of 5 items that I ordered being sent to me.

I too bought from alwaysonsale.com.au before coming across these reviews- I thought they were safe enough as they had an ABN and their products come with manufacturer's warranty. Having bought from similar online stores, my experience with these guys were pretty good in comparison.
It took quite a few days before they dispatched the item to me, but once sent, it came quickly. My order was placed and paid for on the 12/9/09 and I received it 25/9/09.

I ordered an ipod online before seeing reviews on here. Then saw these reviews and freaked. Noticed 14 days after ordering that it had been dispatched (online tracking). I received my order 16 days after ordering by Australia Post. Would like it made clearer whether it would be sent via courier or post because where I live this makes a difference. After searching all over for some hard to find DVD and video game titles, I stumbled across the always on sale website and managed to find what I was after and at a great price! Although one DVD was slightly late (was just before xmas) their customer service team gave me a courtesy call to advise of slight delay which i thought was awesome customer service. There are heaps of different brands (not rubbish ones) and generally really good prices. I have bookmarked this website as I want to see what else what other bargains i can find from time to time. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a bargain!

Unlike others, I did get all my items (eventually).
I had to ring up as some of them were not delivered. Turns out there were 2 seperate dispatches, however I couldn't determine that from their web site. The first delievery did not include any info (neither did the 2nd).
After I rang I got the rest of my items the following day, must have been a hold up in the mail as the phone operator thought the missing delivery had been dispatched 2 weeks earlier.
So if they could fix up their order tracking so a typical dummy like me can understand it...

It is worth going back through these reviews to make a judgment about this company. After very negative reviews in 2008 you will see a post on 4 September 2008 from "Chris Marketing Manager" (note they never give their full names or leave their direct email). He suggested the delay problem was related to having "an inventory system changeover which caused massive issues for Always on Sale in the fulfilment of orders over this period". DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!! I wish I had known there were reviews for this company before I put through my order! What a joke! I bought an item that stated it was in stock when I placed the order. Four weeks later 'Always on Sale' had still not received the item, let alone sent the it on! The customer service was woeful at best. The staff seem to have no problem in repeatedly lying to you. I should be grateful however, that I got a refund as I had a feeling I would never see my money again. On the bright side, I did eventually get my money back and later that day I bought the exact same item three minutes from my home for $45 less than 'Always on Sale'. I have learnt my lesson!

I recommend all consumers stay well clear from this company. Do not get trapped and lose your money. I agree with previous consumers that positive reviews must be mostly written by the Alwaysonsale people. I advise that if the company desires to have probity and integrity they must open up their communication with their consumers and provide much more information. Also, if they say 15 days delivery there must be some level of guarantee that the product will arrive within the promised timeline.
