Placed an order online. It would not let me choose click and collect but forced home delivery. I accepted that as it was free delivery. Got the email with tracking number. Then another email that it was delivered. But it was not. I tracked the delivery. It had gone back to the store! Next email is to say they'll refund me. No explanation why my order was cancelled and sent back. Haven't received any money yet. After reading through all the other reviews, I will NOT be shopping here again. Absolutely appalling. I've got a lot I need. I'll take my money elsewhere.

I ordered a pair hiking shoes online. I received a crushed box which, when opened, revealed a pair of shoes that had been thrown in haphazardly. One of the shoes had the laces undone, and was missing the stuffing. The sole on that shoe was dirty.
I submitted my concerns and was phoned back a store member who apologised and told me that next time I was around I could pop in and they would swap them out. I live close to 100km from the store which is why I ordered online. I asked them to resolve this by courier and the store member siad he would check with his manager. I never heard from them again.
Ordered online. Been a week & items still not sure if our items have even been packed or dispatched. Called head office & got someone in South Africa who has no idea of what’s going on. Called a local store but they are unable to help either. Could not redirect me to anyone else or give me call back. Never buying from Anaconda online again. This is the 2nd time this has happened…. Thought it might be better 2nd time around but no luck.

Ordered an item which was poor quality and I needed to return it. Took them two weeks to send me a returns label via email. Still waiting for a refund after 10 days of my tracking informing me that they have actually received the returned item. All you have to do is keep chasing their poor customer service. Will never use this company again. VERY VERY POOR

The online store keeps directing you to delivery instead of click and collect. I finally found C&C at the end of the transaction after stressing that my purchase would be delivered. Then on the 2nd purchase the C&C seemed to vanish and was set to deliver. There was no field to place a PO box number. I didn't want a large item to be delivered to the post office. Made a purchase online for 3 items to click and collect.
Arrived at store after the items ready message and was told only one item is available. The other 2 are going to be delivered home somehow.
As I needed to use the items the second day, I asked to collect the items in store and cancel the deliveries.
The customer service told me to call the online customer service. And after waiting 30 mins to get connected, the online customer service told me they can't do anything and asked to talk to someone in store. Just ridiculous.

They did not send all of the items I ordered & anaconda refused the idea that that could happen plus an item was damaged due to incorrect packaging. It's simple, pack other people's property so it doesn't get damaged.

I am giving 1 star only because I couldn’t give less. My online order arrived terribly late, So I had to return my son’s snorkeling mask since it’s passed the season and too cold to snorkel now. The manager at the Anaconda store at Scarborough Beach Road refused to return it by using all sorts of excuses and he was making them up on the go. First, he said snorkeling mask was nonreturnable but failed to find it in their nonrefundable item list in their official “return policy”; then he insisted that snorkeling mask belongs to “swimwear” which is...

Then he noticed there were a couple of minor damages on the packaging which was caused by shipping people not me. When I inquired - AGAIN - with customer service, I was directed to their FAQ page...which offers no information about refund processing times. All in all, a horrific experience from start to finish. I understand that COVID is making logistics difficult, but the nameless "Anaconda Customer Service Team" wrote generic emails, offered no sympathy or understanding, and it was like pulling teeth to get anything from them. I ended up buying a pair of kids sandals that were overpriced but looked good online. Ordered his size of shoe and when it arrives it’s smaller then my sons other same size shoes so I email to request a refund so i can purchase the next size up and offered to take these basically unworn shoe into my local store and was told they won’t be helping me to exchange. Unbelievable a store that won’t exchange a brand new product. Stay away from them they are completely unreasonable if this is their business model. The shoes we received were very cheaply made and badly sized Do not shop here there are many better shops with good quality gear.

We ordered a swag before Christmas for a camping trip. It never arrived. 1 month later after being told it's coming but you know, covid and all that. I asked for a refund. Now 2 months later we are still waiting for a refund. Never ever will I deal with this lot again.
Ordered two kayaks 26/12/2021 with a scheduled delivery of the 07/01/2022, received one of them on the 10/01/2022 but the second one has not arrived at all and it is currently the 22/02/2022, have made 10+ phone calls constantly being told “we have lodged a complaint and will be back to you within 24hrs” never once called back, asked for a refund 5 business days ago with the promise of a 48hr refund, had to call again and they have now lodged this and we should hear back in 24hrs (unlikely) the second kayak was also apparently delivered last week and signed by a Jack…..: that is not my name

I am so disappointed with how anaconda handle my case. I ordered fishing ROD on special and the item was in stock 4/Feb/2022, then 7/Feb/2022 i was told my order cancelled due to no stock.

I ordered a tent for a family trip in January and still waiting for delivery six weeks later. The customer service is not existent and I have no idea when or if it will arrive. The tent was $700! Several trips missed.

I ordered the DJI air 2s fly more combo from the anaconda online store last week. Items arrived this morning. I was so happy and anticipated for a a moment. And when the auspost driver handed over the package to me, for a sec I felt like geeze this is so light, lighter than what I have expected.

Ordering and paying for a product doesn’t mean you get it just as likely an email saying not in stock.
Absolute worst customer service that i have ever experienced.
The online order team have no idea what they are doing and will not help if your order is cancelled, shipped with the incorrect products, promo codes not working, refunding items & shipping etc...
I spoke to multiple people regarding my order and no one was able to help, including management.

Placed an order on the website and after a week Anaconda sent me an email saying that my order got cancelled due to out of stock, very unhappy.
Rude and unprofessional. I ordered a foamie for Xmas arrived damaged on the 7th of January. Sent pictures straight away to the CS and never received a response from them so I rang the CS. A representative organised a replacement and assured me to have the board with no dent. Two weeks later I received a second board even more damaged than the first one so was very upset. I called the CS and a representative offered me 2 options replacement or refund and no commercial gesture just sorry like a robot! Of course at this stage I took the refund opt...

Good looking Bike
1 month to deliver bike & box is damaged not a good start, followed by a couple scracthes and little marks on the bike. Bike seat fixings already showing signs that will not last. Gears sticking and not engaging. Ridden the bike for a good solid 15km, more suited for little stroll.

I received a product that appeared to have been used and returned by a previous customer. It arrived in the post after a long wait with no protection (bubble wrap, box etc) and had holes in it. Long delays getting a response and a hassle to get it sorted out over the phone.

Stay away from buying from anaconda if you are getting something delivered. I bought a fridge that never made it to my house and they just wiped there hands saying it wasn’t there fault. $1200 gone and no item. Be careful. Never again and I’ll tell as many people as I can to not shop from them
