I purchased this monitor when I had my first child, I had tested the unit before she was born, so understood exactly how it worked. When I arrived Bach from the hospital I tested it a few times with my daughter in it to get the sensitivity right. I am now using it on my third child, it has only gone off once during the night whilst my first child was sleeping and am so greatful that it did, I can't help but wounded what the could of happened if had not sounded the alarm as this is the only time it has gone off in six years (apart from when I ha...

There is one piece of I have always given to my pregnant friends and that is to get a sensory monitor instead of a video one as you do not sit up all night watching them on a screen and if you do you my not notice a missed breath but these monitors do.
