Don't waste your money.
I have purchased the ID3 frying pans a few times now, i should have learnt the first time and not purchased any more.
I paid around $60, i should have just brought a cheap pan from Coles.
I have looked after the ID3, only hand washing it and i never used metal utensils or cooking spray.
6 months of using it and the non stick is no longer existent, even after following the manufacturers instructions of care.
Funny but a 25 year guarantee doesn't cover the non stick on the pan ( probably the most important part).
Really disappointed, will not be buying any more Baccarat pans of any description.

Cheapest of the stuff
We bought id3 6 piece nonstick cookware set costing us around $50 for each piece. In a few days only of using Saucepan and Caserole, the non-stick coating started peeling off, inspite of following care instructions. When we shared this with Baccarat and asked them to replace this given their lifetime warranty, they completely turned from their words. Cheap rubbish stuff with third class warranty. Stay away from Baccarat/ house products!!

Baccarat ID3 16cm frypan
Bought (about 2 years ago) two of 16cm frypans for my then new induction cooktop. Recently both pans have had their bonded silver-coloured ferro-metal base plates come off, rendering the pans useless on the induction cooktop. Both pans have been used in the recommended way, including washing.
The problem would seem to be the bonding of the ferro-metal plate to the aluminium pan.

Baccarat iD3 Hard Anodised cookware
In November last year I bought a set of 2 frying pans.and two saucepans (one with a long handle and the other one was a very big saucepan). I use the frying pans almost every day and they are great to use. The coating is hard and food does not stick. I had some issues with the very big saucepan. After making soup in it several times I had some holes in the coating. I took it back to Robins Kitchen where I had bought it and they gave me a new one without any problems. I bought the set because my daughter was always using her Baccarat sauce...Read more
pan and she loved it. When I told her the whole set was on special she also bought the whole set. My daughter has an induction cook top. The cookware can be used on all cook tops and can also be put in the dishwasher but I have never done that. The individual frying pans and saucepans are quite expensive.

ID3, 5years of ownerships.
It’s interesting to see that peeling is occurring for everyone else. I would say it’s not a utensil problem but more the soap or solvents used on the pan for cleaning. I use a weak diluted dishwashing liquid and hand clean. Still non stick and easily best pan I’ve owned.

Amazing, perfect, fully satisfied.
Had a pan for 5 months now. Not a single issue. I went and got the entire set this week. Fantastic product and super happy. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen ware.

Worth Every Penny. ID3 Hard Anodised 6 Piece Set.
I got mine a week ago, so far no issues, these pans and saucepans are lovely to use, eggs slide right out, nothing sticks, and I've followed the instructions to the letter. Clean them first then season them ( i use Vegetable oil as i do with my cast iron pans when camping). The handles do get hot but that's my only concern, they are supposed to be dish washer safe but i simply cleaning them by hand. I'm using silicone cooking utensils and i'm loving this cookware. I know a lot of people are complaining about the non stick etc, but I've followed the directions given before use and i'm not having any issues with scratching, staining or peeling. Ty. Love them.

Waste of money
I bought the 30cm ID3 frypan and spent a decent amount of money and expected a great quality/long lasting product.
After my first use it had scratches all over it (used a sponge and nothing that would cause scratches), tried to return it to the retailer with my receipt and that proved difficult. The replacement is still pretty terrible, it is really difficult to get baked on stains off. It states on the product itself and in the product info on Baccarat website it is dishwasher safe - it really isn’t. It has completely ruined the pan from going into the dishwasher.

Bacarrat Diamond 9 16cm saucepan - The best!
Purchased one of these pans about 3 years ago and it's had very heavy use. It's now just starting to lose it's non-stick ability - just slightly - so I'm about to buy another. Works perfectly on induction. The inner surface is particularly durable - well, so is the outer service! A great pan and that's why I'm buying another.

Baccarat ID3 cookware not good for induction
Having become single again in November 2015, I decided to give myself a Christmas present and bought a set of Baccarat ID3 cookware from the "HOUSE" shop in West Lakes, SA. I was then using a gas cook top and the product was sensational - easy to clean, nonstick properties excellent and it looked good. I soon came to realize that it was time to downsize from the 5 bedroom, 2 story house to a modern apartment. I elected to have an induction cook top, thinking the Baccarat ID3 was suitable. Unfortunately, this proved not to be the case. When...Read more
tested on the Bosch cook top, it gave the following message: "The cookware is taking longer to heat up than expected and the cooking process is not going as well as it should." Closer inspection revealed that the central portion of the pans etc was not magnetic, so it was not surprising that it did not work. Went back to the "HOUSE" shop seeking advice and I was advised that the design had been modified and that all the bottom of the pans was now magnetic, so I purchased a new set. Unfortunately, on testing I again got the message above, so I returned the set as "not fit for purpose." The staff advised that they had not had this problem before, although they did seem to suggest that there was a problem with BOSCH and MIELE cook tops. After some discussion I was given a complete refund, so full marks to the staff at the "HOUSE" store, but brickbats for Baccarat ID3 for induction cooking.Similar opinion? Absolutely horrible experience. DO NOT BUY
It started peeling but the cooking surface became incredibly sticky. Couldn't use this product and had to throw it out. Very disappointing for the high price we had to pay.

STAINLESS STEEL LIDS VERY HOT iD3
I purchased the 16 cm saucepan with glass lid and stainless steel handle today. I have been searching for saucepans where the handles remain heat free, that are dishwasher friendly and have steam vents. I have just boiled water over gas and am very disappointed because the lid-handle is extremely hot. The actual handle has remained cool but do not move your hand too close to the actual saucepan and rivet section! The "Bakelite" range would probably have been a better choice.

expensive product cheaply made!
The ID3 non stick frypans are rubbish. We purchased 2 of these a 20cm and a 32 cm. The 20cm began peeling around the edge within 6 months but the cooking surface was fine untill a few months later. The 32 cm lasted a few months longer but also began peeling around the edge and the cooking surface had started to pit and wear thin. This is not normal wear and tear on an expensive frypan that supposedly has a lifetime guarantee. We always used non stick utensils and 90% of the time hand washed them even though they say on the base of them that they are dishwasher safe. Returned and swapped for something better. Store staff admitted they were a faulty product. Had no problem with the store when making an exchange.

Unduction Cooktop? Dont buy These!
We bought the Baccarat ID3 set on boxing day. After a few months of using it on an induction cook top we noticed the center of the ban was bowed. might be fine for those people who want doughnut shaped eggs for breakfast. Might be fine on a gas cook top, but definitely not on an induction. Every pot did the same thing. we took them back and got a full refund at least. Not sure what to buy now. Many of the pans look like they are poor quality.

My favourite pot!
I have the 33cm large pot with glass lid and use it for EVERYTHING from frying steaks to cooking stews and soups. Easy to clean. I never pack it away... it just sits on my stove and looks beautiful in between uses!

love my ID3
I have several Items; 36cm wok, roaster/ grill, 24cm pan and 28cm pan all ID3. Love ❤ them. I use them in both my normal fan forced oven and in a pizza oven which runs a lot hotter. I always put them in the dish washer. They are more than 4 years old. They are all still in great condition non stick and versatile. LOVE

Don't try for a return, it will be a pain
The non stick on these pots went after a short period of time, getting them replaced was a pain too. I would just steer clear of these and get something with a lifetime warranty. They do a good job of cooking, except the peeling issue.

What oils can I use on my new Baccarat ID3 cookware I got for Christmas? Some of these reviews are really worrying me that my kids shouldn’t have brought your product !
1 answer
According to the people in house you can’t use any spray oils or any oil on a high heat. Change the product if possible sorry to say

I have a 25cm pan. After cooking, the black coating on the rear of the pan has a powdery surface that wipes off when washing or drying and leaves horrible black "stuff" on the washcloth/tea towel. Is this normal???
Not using acidic oils or high heat.
1 answer
Definitely not normal. Sounds to me as though the coating is coming off. I purchased a set of these pans about 18 months ago and use them on an induction cook top. The product is rubbish and certainly not fit for purpose.
most of my saucepans/frying pans are losing their non stick surface, one has distorted.
Other reviews I have read suggests that there are many other customers who have experience the same thing and it was even suggested to some of them that they should not be using Olive oil! How ridiculous is that and typical of the responses you will get from the manufacturer/retailers of this product.
I am gradually replacing mine with Raco or Waddell and Davies products, they are dearer but cook in half the time on an induction cooker at least and no issues with the non stick surfaces.
the other alternative is to buy something real cheap from Big or Safeway, they will last at least as long or longer than the Baccarat ID3. Probably not what you want to hear but this is my experience
