Why did I waste my money
After only three months of use the frying pan handles are cracking and literally falling apart. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought this rubbish. The Tefal was our first choice but we thought these were in a comparative range. What a joke. BO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If there was an option for zero stars I would give them that.

Poor quality
I have just used my new NON STICK egg poacher for the first time. Well it took me longer to clean the non stick poachers then it did to cook and eat them. NON STICK I don't think so, very disappointed.

Oh dear I have bought a dud!
I bought two pots, a pan and the poacher - I am disappointed I have been ripped off and baffled that a company can make an unsafe product and legally sell it. Nice design however...pot handles that get hot so you need to use a cloth to remove the lids, and steamer holes in the poacher right where you hold your hand to crack the egg into the holder... getting burnt is high risk with this product.
I get from the other reviews there is no point contacting the company - I figure they have my money -why should they care.

Rusty lids
Purchased a Baccarat Granite frying pan and 20cm pot, and after just a few months tiny rust spots appeared where the glass top meets the steel rim. I had regularly washed the lids after use and dried them with a tea-towel, but some moisture remains in the cracks and rusts the "stainless" steel. The ID3 range is not worth the money.

Not safe for use
These product offered by Baccarat are not safe for use. The so called Teflon coating isnt applied correctly and flakes off after a few uses making it unsafe for use.

Terrible product. Bad customer support.
I bought the Id3 Roast & Grill Pan. Product claims it can be used on a gas stove top for searing before putting into the oven. I tried it with lamb cutlets, scotch fillet steak and pork belly cubes. Could not get sear marks even when I had the pan on the gas stovetop heating for 10 minutes beforehand. No response from my emails so I called customer their support. After 26 minutes of being questioned as well as being on hold, I was told my case was very unlikely and since I have already used the product, there is nothing they can do. Very disappointed. Should have checked reviews here first before wasting my money.

Waste of money, an expensive lesson learnt.
I bought a variety of Baccarat ID3 range from house (pots, pans and roasting trays) a total of 14 pieces and spent a decent amount of money and expected a great quality/long-lasting products.
After a couple of use scratches appeared all over it (used a sponge and nothing that would cause scratches).
ID3 pots and pans are a real disappointment. shame. it was so nice new. After 12 months of usage some products starting to rust, it is coming up through the coating on the inside surface, with others the non-stick coating started peeling off, despit...Read more

Useless for Induction cookers and poor quality
Purchased a set of saucepans and frying pans in December 2017 from Robins Kitchen in Cranbourne Park. One of the saucepans came distorted after only being used three times. I spoke to the retailer who suggested that I was using the saucepan on too high a setting!. It was clear to me that the retailer had heard it all before and was immediately on the defensive. The offered to change the saucepan for another one of the same make/model i told them not to bother as it was likely to reoccur (by then I had read the appalling product reviews)

e then despite careful use and cleaning the non stick surfaces have started to come off indicating rather poor quality. Finally, I was assured by the retailer when I bought the saucepans that they were suitable for induction cookers, clearly they are not; apart from the distortion, the saucepans take about 3 times longer to heat up than comparable products. Do not buy this product. Also I do not recommend buying from the retailer Robins Kitchen as from my experience they merely try to throw the problem back on to the consumer.Purchased in December 2021 at Robins Kitchen for $499.00.

TERRIBLE - Baccarat iD3 6 Piece Cookware Set
I had my previous cookware for 25 years and they still looked near new. I should have kept them!!
We purchased this on sale at Robins Kitchen. I am extremely unhappy with the quality of this product. Both frypans are starting to rust, it is actually coming up through the coating on the inside surface. The large saucepan has very small handles which get very hot when using it. I have had the same saucepan replaced once due to the coasting bubbling off. The set is only 1.5 years old.The worst cookware I have ever used, I would never buy it again.

Very disappointed
Purchased this product ( 8 pieces) from House 18 months ago. As it was a gift from my mother-in-laws estate, have treated it with a great deal of care, never putting it into the dishwasher. Always washed by hand in hot soapy water, stacked and stored with care, never using metal utensils. Over a short period of time began to notice the black coating coming off, obvious on the white tea towel after wiping the edges of the pots AND pans. The bottom of the pots also appear pitted.
Have had to break the news to my husband that they will have to be disposed of, due to my concerns over what this substance might have on our health. My time over again, I would never buy this product again.

I’m happy with my ID3
If you place the pan on the correct size cooking plate as it states in the instructions the handles do not get hot. Do not use cooking oil sprays also. Which I don’t . Do not wash the pans when hot allow to cool first to prevent warping. The product is heavy however that’s not an issue at all. I do own most of the saucepans / frypans and I’m looking forward to getting the saucepan with the lip for sauces ect.

Great when new but doesn't go the distance
Great when it’s new, but after a while the peeling happens. Convenient that they're dishwasher safe and they are also excellent from a non-stick perspective, literally nothing sticks to them! On the negative though they are really expensive and after 2.5years, mine are ready to be thrown out so not worth the money. Its just too hard to be so careful with them because they scratch and peel so easily. This time round I've purchased stainless steel

Warranty is a joke
If you want to buy a non stick pan buy the cheapest you can get. Al these non stick coating is similar.
buy a expensive one in the hope you can use for more than 2/3 years is fooling your self.
This baccarat pan I got with the same hope sticks after 1 year (ok I use it every day)
As I love cooking and was a chef for many years I tried many brands al the same after a year it sticks!
Save your money buy a cheap one an when it sticks get a new cheap one save money and the trouble with baccarat al you get is cleaning liqued that not works. They gonna telly after a warranty claim.....the pan has been to hot..did you use spray oil did you use olive oil its all on the list.

False advertisement — lifetime warranty is a lie!
I bought a 9 piece Stone cookset, which is supposed to be non-sticky and comes with a supposed lifetime warranty. Since the start, the 2 fry pans were sticky and built a lot of residues. I was told by the sales people at House store in Dubbo that if I thought they were getting sticky, I should wash it with the yellow side of a sponge and before putting it away, spreading a coat of oil would "protect" the material. So I did that each time and the frying pans deteriorated very quickly (in less than six months). The cheap non-sticky ones from BW w...Read more
ere always much better. When I took them back to get looked at, my claim was received very rudely. I heard that my pans had not even been washed because they had a coat of oil. In fact, they were always very well-cleaned and then I applied a layer of clean oil as they taught me. I also heard that the bottom of the pan indicated that they had been used on high heat, which would waive the "lifetime" warranty. The pans were supposed to be used at no more than 5 in a scale of 1-9 heat. I wonder if I should have sung a song and read a story for the pans every noght too before putting them in bed?! Funny thing is that I have always cared for the other pots in the set the exact same way, and they are absolutely perfect! I was also asked by the sales people if I knew that "lifetime" meant the product's life (which would be 5 years max), not mine. I wonder if they'd ever tell you that when they are trying to sell them to you. Anyway, Baccarat's "lifetime" warranty if a total lie because they'll find an excuse not to keep their word. Don't waste your money!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The great olive oil conspiracy. Bacarrat need to fix this misinformation.
I bought a nonstick saute pan, Bacarrat ID3 30cm, from House which I use most days for frying and cooking. When I purchased the pan, the written instructions for care and maintenance were clear, but the main advice was to not use spray-on, aerosol oils, and C****** mentioned this verbally to me. The pan surface slowly deteriorated, and is now non-stick, so I took it back to the store for replacement or repair. C****** and her manager inquired if I had used olive oil, which I answered "Yes, It's healthy for you, and my dietician recommends olive...Read more
oil". C****** then said that she had told me not to use olive oil on the pan, and that this therefore voided the warranty. I explained to C****** and the manager that I received no such instructions, either in writing or verbally, and that there was nothing in the small user brochure about not using olive oil, and I argued that this was confusing because there was no advice on baccarat.com.au about the olive oil. They blamed me for using this very common cooking oil, and that it was my failure to follow advice that destroyed the pan. Olive oil takes up about half the vegetable oils section in the supermarket, yet this (apparently) cannot be used on the Bacarrat non-stick pan. Bizarre. If it was such a critical piece of advice to preserve the usefulness of the pan, then why was it not written down anywhere, IN CAPS, and BOLD. I have had three Scanpans over 20 years and they worked fine on olive oil, so I think that the rejection of my claim based on some unwritten policy about olive oil is unfair.Similar opinion? What oils can I use on my new Baccarat ID3 cookware I got for Christmas? Some of these reviews are really worrying me that my kids shouldn’t have brought your product !

According to the people in house you can’t use any spray oils or any oil on a high heat. Change the product if possible sorry to say

I have a 25cm pan. After cooking, the black coating on the rear of the pan has a powdery surface that wipes off when washing or drying and leaves horrible black "stuff" on the washcloth/tea towel. Is this normal???
Not using acidic oils or high heat.
1 answer
Definitely not normal. Sounds to me as though the coating is coming off. I purchased a set of these pans about 18 months ago and use them on an induction cook top. The product is rubbish and certainly not fit for purpose.
most of my saucepans/frying pans are losing their non stick surface, one has distorted.
Other reviews I have read suggests that there are many other customers who have experience the same thing and it was even suggested to some of them that they should not be using Olive oil! How ridiculous is that and typical of the responses you will get from the manufacturer/retailers of this product.
I am gradually replacing mine with Raco or Waddell and Davies products, they are dearer but cook in half the time on an induction cooker at least and no issues with the non stick surfaces.
the other alternative is to buy something real cheap from Big or Safeway, they will last at least as long or longer than the Baccarat ID3. Probably not what you want to hear but this is my experience
