Great product and great results
I have used my baccarat pot and saucepan set for over 3-years. You can assume the non-stick will go after significant use and that has happened only with one frypan (that gets more rigorous use). The pots I cannot complain about, they have been great - I cook every day for my small family and so the range has been used a lot - I would highly recommend them.

Crap product, crap claims department
Purchased the ID3 Grill pan and within 1 year it lost its non stick ability and started charring even when used on low heat. Tried to make a claim with Playcorp the group that handle and manufactures the products and it was deemed natural wear and tear!! At one year of usage at about 2 times a week on medium heat... with a non scratch cirulon brush that house sells.. and it's apparently my faulT!! Warning to anyone wanting to buy this product don't, it's not cheap but its made cheap! Don't buy it.

Baccarat ID3 stainless range.
I recently bought 3 saucepans in the Stainless Steel Baccarat ID3 range. All I can say is that the stainless ID3 range are the best saucepans I have ever used. They are a good weight & work well on an induction cooktop. I have found them very easy to keep clean. I was told not go with the anodised range as they are not as good.

Cheap rubbish
Bought a few Baccarat pans after we were told about the warranty etc. 12 months later The larger one is no longer non stick and the smaller one is peeling off around the edges. We have never touched them with metal utensils and don't own a scourer. We only rinse and wipe out with a chub cloth.
Thanks Baccarat for your rubbish pans.

Just rubbish
I had my frypan for 12 months before it lost all no stick abilities. Better off getting a $10 target one which would remain nonstick for the same amount of time

Terrible pots and pans
I followed all care instructions and within 18 months the bottoms had peeled off the pan base. I attempted to care for the non stick coating but general use of the set and daily wear and tear made sure all the coating chipped off.
So unsatisfied with these pans. Waste of money and I can see most of the reviews are similar. I'm switching to Jamie Oliver. My girlfriends have these pots and for the same cost they have standard the test of time!!!

Terrible, don't waste your money
I bought a non stick Baccarat frypan from House thinking I was getting the best; goes to show you can't judge a product according to price. The non stick didn't last very long and much to my disgust, I had been led to believe Baccarat cookware came with a 10 year warranty - not so for the non stick feature. Nothing was ever mentioned about this to me when I made the purchase so I feel I bought on false pretences. When I took it back to House they were very argumentative, more or less suggesting I never took proper care. I certainly treated the ...Read more
pan with care and never used metal utensils, it simply lost the non stick for no apparent reason. I wish I had read reviews first because I had also bought a wok but had not used it so after the trouble I had with the pan I returned the wok only to discover they would not give me a cash refund. So I bought a carbon steel wok (most recommended), and was forced to take a gift card for the remaining value, their right apparently but I'll be shopping elsewhere in future. Very poor after service, very poor product.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Very Disappointed, feeling ripped off.
Purchased entire set thinking we were finally buying best quality items for first time in our lives. Have been so careful in caring for our set. Have used no metal objects, no scourers etc. Have done everything right...there is only the two of us retired so we don't over use the pots, but needless to say two years on and they are now beginning to peel and lose their non stick coating. Unbelievable. All these years not being able to afford something decent, then saving like hell to buy these only to have this happen. I am beyond disgusted.

Bad quality
My first id3 purchase of a small fry pan was good quality. So I bought the complete set and the wok. However, the cookware started to show scratch marks after few times use. I have always been careful washing it with non-scratch spounge and only use silicone spachelor! Tried to call their customer service to inquire about warranty, they told me it doesn't not covers wear and tear. I bought the product based on what they claimed hard-anodised and 25year warranty, so upset to hear this reply from the customer service!

Do not buy! Coating worn out in 6 months
After using crappy woolworths nonstick pans for years i decided to fork out the money for a good pan. I bought the id3 fry pan. I am a vegetarian and only ghee and sunflower oil in our cooking. We use the pan nearly everyday and within 3 months showed wear and tear. After six months completely worn out. Pan was no better if not worse than woolies pans. What's worse is baccarat were so rude to deal with when claiming warranty, and declined the warranty saying that the warranty only included manufacturing faults and not wear and tear. Never buying Baccarat again!

Baccarat iD3 - Below standard :(
Bought 2 iD3 cooking pots from House store at Fountain gate shopping centre a few months ago. Used once and washed as per instructions and a grey/white patch appeared on the bottom. Took it to the store to get my money as I was not happy. They weren't cheap. Spoke to a sales girl and asked for the manager. The manager was on the defensive even before I explained what happened and refused point blank to refund the money. Instead agreed to exchange it to another one of them. These pans started peeling from outside and also the inside coating isn'...Read more
t any better. They look awful and do not look like a well made quality product that we paid so much with trust. I always use silicone utensils for cooking as I consider them to be the best thing that happened in the cooking world. So I know for a fact it's not the utensils or the cleaning process as I use a sponge and warm soapy water to clean them. Very careful how I store them too. In fact I lay cleaning cloth(wipes) in between pans for extra protection. Didn't bother taking them back as I knew what to expect from them. Very disappointed with Baccarat.Similar opinion? ID3 Non-Stick Frypan - Waste of Money
I purchased the ID3 non-stick stainless steel fypan about 3 weeks ago. The non-stick coating Baccarat use is an extremely delicate surface that is easily scratched when cooking prettty much anything other than an egg in it. And before anyone asks, I only ever use a soft sponge with warm soapy water to clean it once the pan has cooled down. I also only ever use a low to medium heat and only silicone utensils. I can't see this pan lasting very long at all. I have had Le-Creuset, Ciculon and Tefal nonstick frypans and they all worked a whole lot ...Read more
better & have lasted the test of time. I will never purchase another Baccarat product if this was my introduction to the Baccarat range of products. They are a bit cheaper than the other well known brands but you do get what you pay for.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Rusting Knives
I purchased a set of Baccarat ID3 knives for a discounted prices of $199.......supposedly discounted from $599?
After normal use, no dishwasher, washed and dried after each use, it is very disappointing that the blades have rust marks on them.

I should have read the reviews before buying the Baccarat Bio+ frying pan
On the same day that I bought the Baccarat Bio+ frying pan I bought a $5 mini egg frying pan. Within less than a year everything sticks to the Baccarat pan. I treated the pan carefully and followed all the washing and cooking guidance. Now no matter how much oil is used, eveything sticks to the pan and breaks up. By contrast nearly 2 years on, the $5 pan can still deliver a perfect fried egg with very little oil.

nonstick peeling off in just 2 months
we bought baccarat ID3 pans in 3 different sizes because we have heard about dangers using cheap pans. we bought them just 2 months ago. the coating on the rivets of the handle from inside started peeling off in 16cm pan. when I took it to the Innaloo Kitchen store, the sales lady started off saying you must have been using metal utensils even without having a look inside, she was more interested of looking for heat damage and finally spotted the rivet with peeling coat. then she said you can only use silicone utensils of these, then I showed ...Read more
her the small instructions booklet advising to use only wooden or plastic utensils. then she was saying me to stop arguing with her and I have been annoying her. anyway she had to replace the pan, I don't know how long this will last for either. utter disappointment. don't know what brand to purchase nextSimilar opinion? Nothing wrong at all after 3 years of solid use
So for everyone reviewing and saying the non-stick coating is peeling off, let me ask you this:
Are you using a scouring pad to clean this cookware?
YOU ARE DESTROYING YOUR PANS!!
Be aware that scouring pads and scotchbrite cleaning sponges are about equal to 320 grit sandpaper.
These pans (indeed all hard anodised cookware) must be cleaned with water, detergent and a not abrasive plastic bristle brush ONLY!!
If you are cleaning cookware incorrectly you can't blame the product or the shop from which it was bought.

Nothing wrong with this cookwear
I read a lot of negative comments about this cookwear and have to wonder if we bought a different product.
After our ceramic cooktop dies we replaced with an induction cooktop....so most of our old pots did not work any more. We went into House and found the Baccarat iD3s at 60% off and the pots seemed of solid construction. The salesperson said that she had had only good reports and none had come back to the store.
We got the pots home and have been trying them out for the past 2 weeks. Ours are not the non stick but we were quite surpr...Read more

Not stick coating has peeled off! Twice!
I purchased a Baccarat professional 40cm roaster. The third time I used it the non stick coating peeled off. Robins Kitchen replaced it and the second tome I used it the same thing happened. I am returning it this weekend.

Expensive and overrated
We bought the entire range of this cookware and very soon realised it was nowhere as good as we had expected. We thought we had bought top of the range, yet it didn't perform as well as some cheapies we've had. The non stick didn't stay non stick and they looked dreadful. Try to claim on the warranty and you are met with accusations of not looking after the product and you have no defence. Finally they went into the rubbish bin. Good news is we were persuaded to try the Baccarat Rock range, so we bought one to start with, and they are very good. Exceptional so far after 3 months.

Don't waste your money
I bought this roasting pan as I am a big fan of Baccarat but not any more. The first time I used it, I waited until the dish was absolutely stone cold before rinsing under hot water. The non stick coating has peeled off leaving great big silver spots everywhere. The word Baccarat on the handles started to fade, also while rinsing under hot water. Very disappointed and will no longer buy Baccarat anything !

What oils can I use on my new Baccarat ID3 cookware I got for Christmas? Some of these reviews are really worrying me that my kids shouldn’t have brought your product !
1 answer
According to the people in house you can’t use any spray oils or any oil on a high heat. Change the product if possible sorry to say

I have a 25cm pan. After cooking, the black coating on the rear of the pan has a powdery surface that wipes off when washing or drying and leaves horrible black "stuff" on the washcloth/tea towel. Is this normal???
Not using acidic oils or high heat.
1 answer
Definitely not normal. Sounds to me as though the coating is coming off. I purchased a set of these pans about 18 months ago and use them on an induction cook top. The product is rubbish and certainly not fit for purpose.
most of my saucepans/frying pans are losing their non stick surface, one has distorted.
Other reviews I have read suggests that there are many other customers who have experience the same thing and it was even suggested to some of them that they should not be using Olive oil! How ridiculous is that and typical of the responses you will get from the manufacturer/retailers of this product.
I am gradually replacing mine with Raco or Waddell and Davies products, they are dearer but cook in half the time on an induction cooker at least and no issues with the non stick surfaces.
the other alternative is to buy something real cheap from Big or Safeway, they will last at least as long or longer than the Baccarat ID3. Probably not what you want to hear but this is my experience
