Can I receive Australian bank SMS on a belong SIM card when I am overseas ?
I am in india and the commbank is sending OTP SMS to my Australian belong number.

Hi Parag. Your Belong SIM will only work in Australia so if you're trying to receive any calls or SMS' on your number while overseas, these won't get these.

We recommend contacting your bank to explain the situation and they should hopefully be able to help you out another way -Chris

That's why I don't trust them. Even if they have great deals on thier side. They are hungry dogs take your money an have bad customer service. Should join Telstra pretty good option

If you're using a phone that's locked to another network (often these will be the prepaid carrier branded phones) then you'll need to speak with them to have it unlocked before using a Belong SIM. -Rhys

I'm with Belong - How do I extend my Ring time before diverting to Message2Txt? I've tried using a few different codes I've found on the 'net, but my phone always ends up with saying it failed. Ring time isn't long enough and I'm finding Message2Txt for 10 seconds isn't long enough to leave a proper message.

Great question, Max and the ring time with Message2Txt is set to 15seconds and can't be changed, unfortunately. if you did want a longer ring time, then you'd need to remove Message2Txt and that way you could extend it up to 30 seconds.

We have two ring time options for our mobile services, sounds like you currently have a 15-second ring with a message2text feature. If you'd like a 30 second ring time, the message2text option will be turned off and you won't have the option to leave messages.

Is Belongs 4G coverage the same as Telstra? Why I ask is I’m considering switching from NBN satellite broadband to mobile broadband as we now have very good Telstra 4G mobile reception, however while the Telstra map shows us definitely covered in Nornalup WA, your map doesn’t. What’s the story?

It's not exactly the same, Boggs, but pretty close, with Belong using the entire Telstra network. This means there are some places we can't reach, but we're pretty close, covering 97% of the Australian population with 4G.

What's call conditioning active? I have been told I could use someone's else's number but she changed her mind, will my calls be forwarded to her? I can not disable or see call forwarding and it's been 4 days and no one has taken it off...

I activated my new sim with a new number at 3.45pm today they said it would take 10 minutes n up to 4 hours. Im still waiting for it to be activated ? Why is it taking longer then this ?

Now im getting told by one team member the sim has expired and to get a new one and activate it before they even consider a refund and the other team member is saying it isnt expired and to hang tight... ive been hanging tight for near 3 days n being tossed back and forth between answers ! How is the coverage of Belong vs Optus given it doesn't use the full Telstra network? I am currently on Optus.

I have not had any issues with belong's coverage and i too came from Optus. I have been with them for 2 years now and have never been without coverage. I have lived in both nsw and qld and travelled between the both. The coverage is the same as i had with optus but for a.much better price!

Please make sure you're using the SIM number which is printed on the plastic section inside the white rectangle. Please don't include the letter N at the end.

Hey Sandra! That's a great question :) You'll definitely keep all the photos, but on some older phones, the contacts might be saved on the SIM card. Just make sure to hang on to your old SIM after switching, and we can give you a hand if they don't copy across!

Hi Sandra, to reset your Voicemail pin please follow the steps below:

1: Dial 101 to call mailbox
2: Once you’ve accessed your voice mailbox, press 3
3: Press again 3 for PIN
4: Enter your new 6 digit PIN, then press #

Hi Guys
I've just setup a new Belong sim into my daughter's phone. We ported the number over from amaysim. The transfer has gone through fine; data and texts are working however we can't call the mobile number, or call out from the phone any more.
We have taken out the sim and put it back, and restarted the phone but the same problem.
any advice, please?

Hi Sam, Was your phone originally an optus prepaid phone? If so you will need a new phone. For some reason the optus phones do not have the network settings in them to use belong or telstra. My family had to purchase new unlocked phones from officeworks for the belong sims to work.

You're on the money there Mel. Our SIMs only work with unlocked phones, so if you've purchased a prepaid mobile from someone like Optus or Telstra it needs to be unlocked before it will work with a Belong SIM.

The provider will be able to unlock them however they may charge you a fee for doing so. -Rhys

I have a belong sim. From the beginning, I couldn't change caller ID option. From last week, my call waiting oltion is not working. I used different Sim card, and those work well.

I did a reset to my phone, got a replacement SIM card. Still not working!

we have a new Alcatel 1x mobile phone for my son and a Belong SIM card. He can group message to my wife and I but when he tries to group message his 5 friends it doesn't send, saying 'Message not sent: service not activated on network". Anyone have any idea what that is about?

I haven't been able to send photos via SMS (texting) for nearly a week. This same thing happened a few months ago and then magically worked after about three days of not working. I can send and receive text messages ok, make phone calls etc.
