Bendigo Bank Branches (page 2 of 4)
Reviewer Photos & Videos
Went in for some banking and the service was terrible with them not knowing my appointment was scheduled for the day.
Felt like they had better things to do than look at my new loan application.
Last time service was great but this time! I will be heading to ING

More than 25 years with Bendigo. Always happy with service and staff until now. Submitted application for credit card at end of March (already hold Bendigo personal debit card and main banking account). Despite later requests for a result, and provision again of documents requested, I am still waiting - 17 May!
Insufficient staff? Obsolete systems? What has happened to my bank?
I have been with Bendigo Bank for years, had great customer service until recently. Bendigo Central branch staff have no clue what they are doing and takes weeks to do simple tasks.

I had a problem with a term deposit rollover this week-Rang Morphett Vale Branch in SA 6 times in the morning -
-no answer three times -
-call picked up and hung up 3 times without answering
-Called at the branch late morning -closed for lunch
This is not an isolated event and all of this together with the term deposit mess this Bank has lost its way
I Have been a customer for 30 years- always been great but now in serious decline for the last 2 years

20 yr customer, had fraudulent activity and money taken, from start of alerting bank everyone I dealt with was so helpful, especially branch staff who were so patient going through the recovery of funds process and changing accounts, passwords and all the pain involved, kept in touch with me and kept me informed and luckily my funds were put back into account, also very helpful afterwards with advise on keeping safe online. Can't thank them enough.

Went in to the Dingley Village Bendigo Bank on the 22nd January to do a cash deposit. 2 tellers working, with myself and 3 other customers waiting in line. Could see another staff member in office behind tellers. 30 minutes we waited in line, trying to get the attention of lady in office. She had caught my eye and hand gesture to get her attention a couple of times, but simply ignored it. I'd had enough. I walked up to her office and asked if she could help serve customers. Her answer was, "I don't do teller work, I do loans". We've been waitin...
Read moreg 30 minutes, I said, but she fobbed me off. The manager heard us talking, and came out of her office. [Name Removed] was her name, and I said the same thing to her, waiting 30 minutes and still not served. [Name Removed] Branch Manager said, and I quote, "you would get the same service at the Commonwealth Bank", as if that was going to comfort me. I was dumbfounded. She then turned away from me and went back to her office. Not a skerrick of customer service, not an ounce of respect. I made a formal complaint with the bank, with a request to get a personal apology. And after dragging it out for a month, in the hope I go away I assume, they finally get back to me because I wouldn't let up. And they say there is nothing they can do. Cannot make a employee give a personal apology for insulting and disrespecting a customer. And I emailed the CEO, the Managing Director, and all the Board members. The big wigs just duck shoved the issue to the plebs below them. Not important enough for them. They don't want to be interrupted from counting their money. Wow... but they can advise you to go to the Commonwealth for the same service. Absolutely disgusting... You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Stay away from the Bendigo bank in Dingley village and [Name Removed] (no customer service skills) branch manager. Not helpful, I have been waiting for money that they lost for 2 months now & they are still trying to find out what's going on! Don't bank with this bank!

We do business with the Mareeba Bendigo Bank for over 15 years. We were glad that the bank has always supported our business in every respect. It was always a pleasure to go to the branches and the staff greeted us by name and with a smile. No problem was too big.
They helped us to grow and we never had the feeling that we were being ripped off like we had the experience with an other big Bank before. Thank you guys.
Was with the bank for 2 yrs n did not find them fair or honest, terrible experience with bendigo, the where charging me almost $100 every fortnight from $350 all because of an overnight $20 debit, never reimbursed me in 2 yrs n basically took food off the table for my family, went to nab who didn’t charge for being in debit for a few $$ overnight

We approached the Helensvale Branch of the Bendigo Bank as a family member recommended Bendigo as a good choice. Our initial meeting with the bank manager was full of promise and we left believing they would and could assist us. Since then we have been stuffed around, ignored, told the Helensvale branch manager would get back to us (never did) and all this resulted in costing us money and the opportunity to move forward with the proposition discussed.
We met every requirement asked of us. Now after many months of chasing an answer our liveli...
Read morehood has been seriously compromised. Had we been told up front what they would require of us instead of false promises, we had other options we could have pursued. The stress and uncertainty has left us feeling quite gutted and disillusioned. Avoid Bendigo Bank at all costs. They have no regard for people and just keep stringing you along, uncaring of how that negatively impacts your existence.- 11 reviews

So many undisclosed fees, bank changes interest rates without letting you know. Staff are useless and have no idea what their doing, manager seems to be non existent. Overall a very dishonest bank
I recently went in to a branch to open a savings account. I put 20 dollars in and ordered a debit card. Before i had even got my card that 20 dollars had turned into 14 dollars.
Heres the thing....that little 6 dollars they quickly took will, in the long term, cost them much much more. I was just about to put in 750,000 into my account with them. Not only will i be closing my account i will ensure many MANY wont be bitten by this money thief organisation. I hope the CEO reads this.

I went to Bendigo Bank to open a concession account as the ANZ had closed the only local branch of their bank.
I was very clear and detailed in my questions about all fees and charges that could be applicable and those questions were repeatedly asked, the result was the same each time: No fees and Charges on the concession account and I also made very sure that I complied with every request they made.
When I went home I decided to begin setting up my Bendigo Bank internet banking and needed to call them about a few details.
I was strongly ad...

Joined Bendigo bank in 2016 and had nothing but trouble.
Incorrect paperwork sent and signed then told us incorrect forms sent have to redo 3 days before settlement on property. Then was told by conveyancer that Bendigo not ready and blamed me for signing paperwork too late.
Kept security over properties that was not required then asked for another fee to release the security.
Overall a VERY disorganized bank with no consideration for the customer despite their advertisements says they are the people’s bank. Rubbish my advice give them a big miss ! You can make a mistake but every interaction with them was a stuff up....

I've been with Bendigo's Turramurra branch for over ten years.
Service has always been good to great. Some hiccups.
Some examples.
Once I wanted a fairly large amount of cash in hundreds. I had teeed it up but their head office had not sent it. So Turramurra rang around to find the nearest branch that did have that amount in hundreds.
They are not so good with sending money overseas. I tried once and there was a huge amount deducted for the service. I complained. They dug down. It turned out that they had no direct arrangement with the foreign...

such know it all but DID NOT listen to what I had to say before jumping to conclusions again and again
Okay I have banked with this bank since 2015 because they were right next to where I worked and it was an easy account to open. Calling head office has not been pleasant once over the years. Today I received Ms Know it all, tells me what I just said to her, questions me but did not listen to what I had said which would have answered her question than laughs in a condescending way when I advised her Not to be a know it all on the next customer and LISTEN... DO THEY LISTEN...JUST TAKE A MINUTE TO LISTEN THAN YOU CAN ANSWER WITHOUT BEING SO RUDE ALONG THE WAY!!! BAD BANK, St George have always been nice to me, I need to change.

Don't waste your time, or theirs apparently because they will let you know about it.
From the very first meeting with Bendigo Bank, we were made to feel like a nuisance than a customer. It took months to have an equipment loan approved. They were completly disorganised, wrote the wrong names on our loan applications, didn't sign them properly, asked for information we had provided numerous times, the list goes on. Each time I called to ask a question, no one would know how to find the answer. Simple things like 'how much is left on my loan' was an effort to find out. I asked about internet banking so I could find these things o...
Read moreut myself and got no response. We just recently paid out the loan because we dont want anything to do with them which was also an appalling experience. The majority of the time they were sat on the phone trying to figure out how to do it. Then while they're on the phone to the equipment finance people getting a payout figure, they kept saying to them "I know it's short notice, Im sorry, I know it's a hassle", like we were doing something wrong by coming into the bank. Never again will I ever have anything to do with Bendigo Bank. Go to a bank that knows what they're doing and actually gives a dam about basic customer service because this bank is a joke.Applied in person at Wyong Branch for refinance mortgage. Existing assets and excellent repayment history. No follow up, action or progression. Approved by other lender. Very disappointed with customer service

We have been with Bendigo Bank for 3 Years after leaving one of the 'big 4' who we had been with for 23 years. Bendigo Bank's business service is almost non existent. They promised us the world and said that they were big enough to handle our business and so on - big mistake. They have been completely incompetent in almost every area in our dealings with them. Every interaction we have with them lately is an uphill battle. Our business manager even refused to answer our phone calls for nearly a week! Anyway, its goodbye to BB - all they've done...
Read more is embarrass us with our suppliers and cost us a packet of money. Thankfully 3 other banks are actively vying for our business so we'll see where that takes us! PS The only reason they get 1 star is because of their community support.takes 8 months to go through your homeloan refinance, keep asking the same docs again and again...... find all excuse to change their minds but NEVER say NO to waste your time.
For absolutely no reason,no warning...this banks ATM decides to steal my card(non bendigo card)
and to top it off the smarmy little wench on the phone tells me after I ask for a manager, talks over me and tells me she is ending the call...but not before ...in her foolish sarcastic voice tells me to have a lovely day????...damn you!

After refinancing through a different bank, I was told my home loan needed to become a business loan on a property I own. It was the only way to take out equity so I agreed. The rate was similar. Amazing bank manager and experience, 5 star. However After 3 years the manager left the bank and was replaced with someone else. Somehow he decided to bully and single me out, and I was told that as I lived overseas my interest rate would be going up. So from around 5%, overnight I had to pay 9%, despite never missing a loan payment, the property valu...
Read moree going up 7x what it was when I got the loan (total value of loan was only 1/10 what I had outstanding with the bank) or other factors. Agreed to give the bank tax returns from years ago (not sure how they are supposed to help when loan payments are always on time?) but I’ve been told that the extra payments I’ve made won’t be refunded, despite the area manager saying they would be. Have contacted so many different people and departments within the bank that I’ve lost count. They send you all over the place p, and many people call you and don’t fix the problem. Even the bank branches I’ve been into laugh at me when I say my interest rate went up. They say that’s impossible, rates are going down! I tell them to look at my file and they are always bewildered and claim they have never seen anything like that in their life! Taking story to the media. Avoid this bank as they will screw you over.I did home loan 2 years ago with Ming Fu (doncaster branch), he did great job & provide best interest rate & service, even sometimes night time he still call & communication with you.
Last week we transfer the variable rates to Fix, he did for us so efficiently & get great deal for us again.
Just want to say thanks Ming.
Very poor to bank with charged really high fees considering I only had 1 account with them.call centre takes forever to get through went to close down account in branch and were told they only would take cash to close down account pay fees or use a different Bendigo card which I didn’t have very poor

I needed to do a atm withdrawal and I was trying one of Bendigo bank atm in Doncaster, one block from Aldi at Mitchell St, opposite Dan Murphy Store.
Only because
I couldn’t find any other atm in the nearby vicinity.
I was disappointed to learned
Bendigo bank atm still want to charge a $2.50 fee per withdrawal transaction today !!
I understand all banks removed atm transaction fee last year.
I can’t believe hearing radio advertised Bendigo bank as a better big bank!!
Today ...
