There are 2 components, the base unit, and the heater. If you have an existing Brivis Buffalo system, you may or may not need to replace the base unit. Depends on its condition.

Read morennai, and it is possible that once they sort things out it will improve. Meanwhile you should rely on the warranty - and if you service the unit as recommended the warranty is extended to (I think five or more years). But on the other hand if you can return the unit without loosing money, and can find another unit which suits your installation requirements - maybe it is the best solution. I suggest you also ask your gas plumber for advice.Just had the electronics replaced under warranty. Less than one year old. Burners adjusted by Brivis as well as some other tweaks. At least it now heats up quicker when turned on.
Took the chance and Installed the unit hope for the best as you say warranty is the only way to have a hold on Brivis.
