VERY HAPPY WITH PEAKHURST
I took my Mazda CX5 to Peakhurst NSW branch and was very impressed with the professional service I received from Andrew and the results George produced with the vehicle. I received progress on SMS and the repair was on time as promised. I recommend this branch.
Assessment for vehicle damage
I put in a company car today for repair work on various panels. Mark was very accommodating with getting things organized quickly for me. He understood what I needed for end of lease requirements, was very clear with what was needed. I look forward to seeing the end result.

Amazing service and customer focussed approach
Can’t recommend Capital Smart people from Newlands Road Coburg highly enough. These guys are personable, have a customer focussed approach and went above & beyond to help me out. Their communication was amazing and extremely helpful. All I can say that we need more people like Sam & Marina in this world.

I received my vehicle today with dust from sanding etc. Gone through the rear boot compartment and emptied everything out. No care at all. AAMI send persons vehicle there. What a joke.

Very un-organized!!! Treat you and your time as rubbish,
After an at-fault accident, I contacted AAMI and they directed me to their repair contractor Capital Smart - Lane Cove waited for a month then took the car for inspection back on 14/Apr/2022 and was told it may take up to 2 months as they are not sure about the parts availability.
After the inspection, I request to bring the car back to continue to use while they can organize the parts, a month later, I took the car back to Smart Capital Lane Cove left the car there, then...

A Job well done!
I would like to thank the professional team at Capital S.M.A.R.T. Chatswood, CJ, Danny and Max for really caring for me and my car after a bizarre act of vandalism. My car has been returned to its former beauty and I am extremely happy with the quality of work completed. Extra panels were painted to ensure a perfect match. The car was clean, shiny and detailed inside and out. It was obvious the team take personal pride in their work and it was a wonderful feeling driving away in what felt like a new car!
Quality car repair
Everything was professionally and efficiently handled by the Capital S.M.A.R.T team at Chatswood. I was even ordered an UBER home after dropping my car off which was a pleasant surprise!
Once ready for pick up, CJ met me outside with my car and went over the panel where work was done perfectly. We both saw a bit of buffing missed so he asked if I mind waiting and he took my car back inside to tidy that bit up. My car was ready a week earlier than expected and they even washed it! Thanks for the great service and car repair CJ and the team at Chatswood!
Disgusting behaviour! Zero morals! Not good enough!
I had someone drive straight into my car while it was parked. Damage was done to my left rear quarter panel and back bumper. I waited for the person at fault and exchanged details. I was told by his insurer to take it to Capital Smart Moorebank a few days later.

... Read morel times, same thing. I just thought it was a Vodafone issue. As I started driving a message popped up on my dash that a rear light bulb was blown. Got 2 minutes down the road from the repair shop and got a flat tyre. I immediately pulled over. While waiting for my roadside assistance I called CS to let them know I was around the corner with a flat tyre and that there was some strange noises coming from my back speakers, that a bulb had been blown and that there was no sound coming from my radio or when I make/receive a call. I was told that two boys would come to me. At this stage it was torrential rain. The water was rising around my car and the road was completely covered.- +2

Great job and service
Took my subaru after a minor collision to SMART in Coburg as recommended by insurer. Mirena and the team were a pleasure to deal with. Car looks back to new. Can't thank these guys enough.
Great Service and Repair
My brand new car (Hyundai Palisade) was hit in a car park and AAMI sent me to Capital S.M.A.R.T repairs. Took my car in the have the damage evaluated, and because it was a brand new car the assessor advise ordering new parts in which I was thrilled about. Upon waiting for the parts I got weekly updates on order status of the parts. Once the parts arrived their team promptly notified me and booked the car in to be repaired asap. The job was done really quickly and both the repair and customer service was second to none. I would highly recommend this company for any repairs in the future. Well done Capital S.M.A.R.T repairs, you have one happy customer.

Quality
I had my Colorado repaired by Capital Smart Chatswood. I was concerned the repairs wouldn't be done to my satisfaction, but Danny and the team were very thorough with the repairs and produced a quality job. The communication was exceptional and I would happily recommend this repairer to anyone.
Great
Had to use these guys from my insurer. Was a good set up, offering Free ubers too and from the business as they generally keep the car for several day's. Happy with the repairs. If they weren't so far from where I live, I'd use them again.

EXEMPLARY SERVICE, THANKS
Had a great experience with S.M.A.R.T. I missed the allotted time but they fitted me in. The receptionists were friendly and efficient. Car bumper was mended so you can't see the damage and they cleaned my car!
Poor communication, unhelpful, absolutely waste my time with this car repairer.
Lodged a Car comprehensive claim through AAMI in December 21, allocated with Hallam Capital Smart repairer on 2 pm, 22/12/21. The date before appointment received text reminder of appointment. Make effort arrived on time for appointment. The guy look at my car then told me that they are closing for Christmas break and will reopen on 10/01/22. Asked me to rebook through AAMI. I was surprised that they did not rebook my appointment.

Great service and work can’t fault
Have taken my car to capital smart 3 times now 2 at Monash and 1 at Coburg for different events and can’t fault them at all. Both sites have been very prompt, good service and the quality has been spot on. Hopefully don’t have to return but if I had another accident I would with no hesitation.
Terrible service & repair
I picked up my car from Hallam capital smart my car is covered in overspray none of my badges were put back on dirty footprints & paint on my seat. Absolutely terrible was given the keys by the reception told my car was across the road none walked around my car to discuss repair absolutely disgusted by the service!
Landcruiser
I reversed into my carport causing damage to passenger back door bumper & rear quarter panel called my insurer Shannon’s and was told to take my lancruiser to capital smart at 9.45 on a Tuesday morning left my land cruiser there and picked it up on Thursday @ 3.30 and they did a great job I am more than happy and was Great service I would highly recommend.

I have had my wife’s cars repaired elsewhere in the past & no one even come close to the service I got at capital smart.
Terrible quality
Took my near new car in for a minor repair to the front plastics. The place appeared clean and the staff were friendly, but I felt very uneasy leaving the car there when I noticed someone spraying a car part in the open.
My car was ready the next day and on initial appearance it looked OK.
When I cleaned the car a couple of days later I discovered the entire car was covered in overspray, top to bottom, front and back... every inch is covered in tiny specks of paint.
I'm now in discussion with shannons to get this rectified by someone I trust, they wanted me to return to smart but I wouldn't trust them to pump my tyres up now.

Bad experience
I want to give it 0 star but it was not possible. I gave my car over there to fix the damage as per my insurance company. First I was traumatized by the accident I couldn't speak and they didn't listen to my things. I told my insurance company about the problem they followed up with company. After a week they contacted me saying it will take 2 more days for your car to be fixed. 2 days later they called me again this time they told me it will take 2 more weeks and the lady didn't let me speak whatever I say she replied okay bye okay bye. I took my car to Capital Smart as instructed by my insurance company after a bingle with a pole. I found the entire process to be very professional, from the initial call to make arrangements to have my vehicle assessed, the staff who assessed the damage, the booking in to have the repair done and the convenience of having an Uber to take me between my home and Capital Smart. The staff in the office were very helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.
WORST ..... place for a car repair ...!
I had to take my SUV again to the repair shop to fix the rear bumper, since it was not fixed on the first instance.
When I showed the issue, initially they did not admit the fault. Then I showed the original picture. Then they said it needs one full day to fix it. I scheduled a date and went in the morning to drop off the vehicle.
When I went to the reception, the person said they need 2 days. I was disappointed the way they communicate to the customer and giving false information. I was furious since I had to waste my time and I could not keep
Worst place for car repair
I brought 3 time for same repair and Not accurate with repair and not cooperative to understand faulty parts and cheaper new replacement parts and don't even check after repair whether it works or not. assessment management didn't repairs all those damaged parts regarding to accident because they doesn't understand differences between functionality and wear n tear.
Poor quality - poor service - avoid this company
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I took my car here after being recommended to Smart from Suncorp. After picking my car up I noticed there was a pinhole on the door that had just been replaced, this was the first red flag for me. I spoke to the manager there who said to me my car was just 1 of 30 he was working on, 0 care taken. After colliding with a poor wombat, my insurance company sent me here. The premises presents very well with pleasant staff and a clean facility. Unfortunately this was where the good experiences ended. After my vehicle was "repaired" (I use this term very loosely), there were a number of issues clearly evident. It was apparent that their QAQC was far from acceptable. They advised they would have to order additional parts to complete the repair and I returned the vehicle. Third repair with Capital Smart Hallam, third time I have to return my car for incomplete work. The staff are very friendly but the quality control and attention to detail to repairs is sub standard. The back bumper and tailgate were totally repainted, but a stone chip was left in the number plate light cover. There was another issue left not repaired but I wont go there. If it wasn't for the fact that my insurer makes me use use this company I wouldn't have returned. I've got more to do than organise my time taking my car back because other people dont do what they're paid to do.
Capital smart Balckburn is the worst experience I've ever had ...!
I was sent to Capital Smart Blackburn by my insurance company after I had an accident. The SUV was struck from behind, it went in for door and bumper damage to rear. They have replaced the Door and the rear bumper. On return of the SUV the rear door was not aligned and still repair pen marks on the still crumpled underside of rear door. The panel shop technician informed me that they cannot align the rear door because the door is made of plastic fabric. The panel shop technician did not admit that there is an issue on the rear bumper. I showed him some pictures of the original state of the bumper. Then they said they need another day to fix the issue. I was extremely disappointed and furious on what’s going on with this repair shop. I called my insurer and logged a quality complaint. I am waiting for a feedback. Capital smart Balckburn is the worst experience I've ever had in my life. These guys just want to push out the vehicle without proper QC. car went in for boot and bumper damage to rear. on return of the car boot lid not aligned with back panel and still repair pen marks on the still crumpled underside of boot lid. Returned the car to preston assessment site who agreed it was a poor job. car returned to mulgrave. car returned to me fixed however now had a rubbing sound on wheel when driving, Took it back to preston who told me a "flap" that was suppose to be fixed up when it was being repaired was rubbing on the wheel. It was fixed for me by the preston guys. Mulgrave then phoned me two days after the car was returned and left a message to tell me they had my car !!! they did not ..... Tried to ring them back and on hold for 5 mins ... gave up.
1/6 butted job, not even half
Every other repair shop I went to for quotes before filling a claim for someone hitting my car said they would fix my entire front bumper.
After AAMI sent me to this shoot hole, they damaged my front guard more than the accident and only did the point of impact of the bumper and left the whole other half untouched.
I have yet to see the mismatching colours that I have read lots about since I’m not picking up the car but I am not holding out much hope
Appealing service
Was told I would have my car back following minor repairs in 4-5 days. Was contacted this morning by smart and they said they couldn’t access parts for 8 weeks and was told I needed to pick the car up ASAP. Had already bought and paid for another car as this repaired car was to be a present to my nephew for his birthday. Sourced alternate options and will have it fixed within 2 weeks. A myriad of excuses followed but they could not answer why their competitors could access parts and repair in such a short time frame. Competitor delay was due to them being booked out. Smart are an AAMI preferred supplier. Do not use Smart as you’ll get it done quicker elsewhere.
In & Out Poor quality, No care, No responsibility [AMMI preferred repairer]
Capital Smart where charged with the responsibility of repairing my vehicle following my no fault accident.
They held the vehicle for a number of weeks before current Victorian COVID Lockdown. They changed the date for pickup 3-4 times but when Victorian Lockdown was announced moved the vehicle up to be collected prior to lockdown demanding I return my hire car and collect my car prior to 430pm.

My car was reversed into and ended up at capital smart to get two doors repaired (through the insurance of the lady that damaged there car).
First, the accessor said they'll replace the doors, then a few days I was told I would only get new skins - which I was fine with.
I go to pick up the car a week later and they've just used bog to fill the damage on the doors and hadn't even match the paint of the car when they painted their repair... Looked awful.

Very…Very Poor. Avoid at all costs
Had my near new BMW repaired at SMART thanks to AAMI. Was a worry from the moment i turned up, with very poor workshop presentation. There was even a queue of unhappy customers turning up to complain on the day!
Left the car with them. Repair was sub-standard, especially for a prestige vehicle. I think the guy doing the paint matching must have done this in the dark. Very disappointed and now stuck in dispute resolution with AAMI trying to get a decent shop to fix.
Crap service
1 week turn to 2 weeks then 3 before an assessment could be done. At this stage all business cars were being repaired and family cars pushed back. They lied to me and the insurance company. Took my car home and repaired it straight away
Atrocious job
When I picked up my car I had a new chip in the duco on the bonnet which was not there when the car was dropped off. I was told that they would fix it when I took my car back as I had to return in a month as there was a wait for a part to come out from Germany. When I picked up the car the second time there was yet another chip on the bonnet which was not there when I picked up the car the first time. I was told by GIO I had to take the car to Capital S.M.A.R.T repairs and I have been told that Suncorp used to own Capital repairs & that I believe there is a lengthy agreement in place with Suncorp regarding referred business which probably explains why I was told I had to go there. I now have an 8 month old luxury car which due to a very poor quality paint job would be clearly devalued. I strongly recommend anyone considering using these people to reconsider.Best service ever
From no fault Apia claim to completion was seamless and quick. Garry was great to deal with and the car was even delivered back to our door by truck, free of charge. What more can you ask for ?
