Excellent service honest reliable good value
Had my windscreen replaced at Wollongong Branch. I am very happy with the service and the new team. The Manager was very helpful. A overall 10/10 experience with a friendly team of fellows.

Poor quality, broken sensor & bare wire
Had my windscreen replaced as part of a warranty claim. During the installation the installer cut through the wire of my front parking sensor display and broke the display of it's mount -- it no longer works, and I have a bare wire --. In addition there is over an inch of rubber sticking out from the join at the top of the inside windscreen (It might just be something he forgot to cut off, or it might be part of the seal which has popped out, I can't really tell).

ens Maribyrnong, despite both issues posing potential safety risk. Of less important, the installer said that he would move my service stickers from the old screen to the new screen, and didn't. He also didn't reattach my citylink etag. What was a zero dollar claim with RACV is now going to cost hours of follow up and likely cost to me to have the front sensor fixed!!

Total ineptitude and disregard for customers is probably being too kind.
Ordered the wrong window twice! Wasted a whole day off work for them at the first attempt to fix. Then was informed at 3pm Fri afternoon the same mistake had been made which left me without a vehicle for the weekend to travel to a family wedding. Am now $500 out of pocket as well for an after hours call out from a competent company.

Worst experience ever!
Worst experience ever!
Installers left marks on bonnet and guard, called to complain, was told its not possible (even though there is the same mark on the inside bottom of new windscreen) only to have installers return and abuse and physically assault me,
Still waiting on a follow up call????
POOR INSTALLATION. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
STAY CLEAR AND GO ELSEWHERE!

Eddie from the Glenfield workshop is a credit to the Instant Windscreen company. Friendly, fast, efficient and professional service. Thank you so much. My only minor gripe was it took a little too long to be connected to the company when booking the job.

Refusal to honor 'Lifetime Guarantee'
Instant Window Tinting film, installed at our home in October 2013, has become streaky and delaminated. Removal, cleaning and replacement of film is necessary. Instant Window Tinting undertook to 'send someone around to inspect' over 2 years ago, but this never happened. Several additional phone calls, Emails, and a facebook entry have STILL not elicited a response. The invoice states 'Lifetime Guarantee', which has NOT been honored! The tinting film is NOT fit for purpose! The attached photographs, and a copy of the invoice highlight problems which continue to be ignored by 'Instant Window Tinting'.

Happy with new windscreen
Happy with the service. Did a good job replacing the windscreen. Didn't leave a mess and even transferred the next service due sticker. Booked on a Thur and work done on Tue. Would recommend.

Horrible customer call centre
Called up regarding booking my car in for screen repair/replacement. Asked for a possibly quote first, gave all of my details, just to be told “$500” with no reference to whether that was repair or replacement. Didn’t ask much details about the actual thing that needed repairing, and when I explained exactly what needed to be done, I was then told “$220”. I asked where she was pulling these numbers from and she just said “the pricing on the computer”. when I asked to speak to someone else, she said “you have called the call centre”. OBVIOUSLY I CALLED THE CALL CENTRE! There would have been plenty of other people to speak to about it, and hopefully they didn’t sound as if I was interrupting their sleep. She also didn’t offer to hand me over to someone else either. Poor service
I took my car to the launceston workshop. At first I was told it would be ready by lunchtime, lunchtime came around so I walked in to check and see how much longer only to be told they hadn’t started it and it wouldn’t be ready till 2. I then received a phone call asking for my father’s number to talk about my car as if I was too incompetent as a female to understand despite the fact I was raised to know these things. 2 o’clock rolls round and nothing I call only to be told my car has been ready and no one could bring it to me.. maybe call and make me aware it’s done and I can sort out a lift the service was anything but instant sad really

The best solution for me in Langwarrin Vic
I needed my windscreen replaced on the Subaru Forester. The best price by far (one third of the O'Brienautoglass quote!). The man was prompt, efficient, professional and friendly. A great job all round! Very pleased. Thank you.

Great customer service with great prices
I needed my rear windscreen replaced and called around luckily I called Instant Windscreens and Tinting, spoke to a very helpful and honest man named Kieran who gave me a quote which was a very fair price which was a fraction of the price I was quoted from someone else. He didn't promise the job could be done the next day as he had to order the screen in. The next morning two very friendly guys named Sam and Brent came to the door with the windscreen and fitted it, they did a brilliant and I was so impressed that I had to tell everyone that if you ever need a windscreen replaced or some tinting done I highly recommend this company in Geelong West.

booked twice
Booked for Tuesday, told between 830-1230.
Waited all day no show.
Had to cancel rwc booking.
Rebooked for today, once again 830-1230,
Called at 1215 to find out time of arrival, informed new trainee staff didnt realise that no onsite bookings for saturdays.
This has now cost me a day and a half of waiting for them, I also now have to purchase another unregistered vehicle permit due to the old one expired
Very poor service,this has now cost you my business and I will advise friends to never use this business

Scratched my paint
They scratched my paint during a routine windscreen repair. My car was new and now has scratches on the bonnet. I contacted them and they refuse to take any responsibility.

These people BROKE my windscreen....avoid! Disgraceful service
I brought my car to Instant windscreens in Rockingham, Western Australia to have a stone chip repaired on the windscreen prior to having it inspected for registration in the state since the car had come from Queensland. On inspection another very small chip was found so the repair cost was agreed to be $120 for the two..all good,except that some twenty minutes later the car appeared out side the workshop still with both chips and now a 5 inch crack through one. stage they have rendered my car unpassable for the process of it's road worthiness test...what is worse is that they didn't at anytime explain that this breakage was a possible outcome and to make matters worse I learn from the inspection station later that the car's windscreen with the original chips would have been ok! (just now with the 5 inch new crack it now won't pass).Now the car has to sit unregistered until another windscreen is found (2-3 weeks wait) No apology ...and no acceptance of responsibility for the situation created here...contact with management revealed a totally uninterested and frankly arrogant attitude towards the situation, with absolutely no concept of customer service or the inconvenience caused to me by this balls up....to make matters worse, they offered to replace the windscreen at a cost considerably more than their competition and without any consideration for having broken my windscreen in the first place! Huge regrets that I ever went near this place! I would have absolutely no confidence in getting any kind of satisfactory resolution from this company after my dealings with them just now...they are a disgrace to the industrySimilar opinion?
