No international transaction fees!
Great to be used overseas as there are no foreign transaction fees. 2 points for every $1 spent-perfect for Coles shopper. Easy access to Flybuys code on the back of card. Easy to redeem and transfer points.

Good card and can also earn flybuys
Upto 55 days interest free. Earn flybuys points for using the card. Also, no need to carry your flybuys card seperately as the barcode is printed on the card. No international transaction fees. While the card has no initial annual fee, once it does kick in, it is a bit on the higher end.

Bonus flybuys
Great to receive bonus flybuys at select stores when using a card with no annual fees. Also handy to have flybuys barcode on the back. Easy to use with a chip for PayWave.

IT works fine I just feel the rewards are not enough when you use it
As said the rewards are not very intriguing and are not as persuasive to keep using it. It works fine and does the credit card job, but would be nice to have a few more rewards coming

Great card with no international transaction fees
Good rewards valued at 1% (min) back as Coles money (via flybuys). No international transaction fees which is great. and upto 55 days interest free (some cards are 44 days and for a $3-4k monthly spend this can be around $40-50 a year saving if that money is paying off your load or earning high interest). Run by Citibank which isn't great but I have to say the service is better than citibanks service a few years ago. Annual fee is a bit high at $99 but sill a good card.

It was a great card but....
We got the card due to the promotion:no annual fee forever. The card can be used to flybuys points.we didn’t have a chance to use this card oversea yet.It was quite a easy process to transfer balance over.I’m quite satisfied with the rewards and it’s simple to redeem and earn them. The only problem is the login service on the app is frustrating.Sometimes it didn’t recognises me.

Simple card for Velocity points
I've had this card for many years and I think the main advantage is that you earn Virgin Australia Velocity points with it. The conversion rate is 870pts per 2000 flybuys points, which isn't great, but Velocity points are harder to earn quickly than Qantas points, so this is a reasonable deal. There are regular transfer bonuses to Velocity.
The card gives you fee-free overseas purchases at an almost-wholesale exchange rate, so that's great. Overseas ATM withdrawals, however, attract a cash-advance fee (in addition to any possible fees charged ...Read more
by the overseas ATM owner). If you spend enough per month, it seems that you eventually get offered an upgrade to a Platinum card, without an increase in credit limit (good), and includes some purchase protection insurances. The annual fee for the original and the upgraded card is no different: $99. Citibank, which owns these cards, is pretty poor at processing applications correctly. You might find that submitted documents are overlooked or never received properly. However, in the big picture, it's relatively small hassle for a pretty useful card.Similar opinion? Best earning no nonsense credit card
The earning points rate is the easiest to understand. There is no monthly cap and conversion to Velocity points when required is seamless.
The mobile app is quite helpful as it combines your flybuys points statements and offers all into one place.

Very good service
I've had my Coles credit card for 3 years and I'm overall I'm very happy with the service. Reward points are issued to my flybuys account within a few days, and I can spend them in Coles or sometimes I get an eBay voucher for $50 or $100. I use the card to make purchases when abroad (I'm in Singapore right now) and I know I'll get a good exchange rate.
There were a few issues with statements being issued late when they were bought over by Citibank about a year ago, but they seem to have ironed out any problems.

Was great until Citibank took over but now zero customer service
I've had this card for 18 years with no problems until Citibank (the worst bank ever) took over a couple of years ago. Recently received email offer for 3 months interest free on purchases which sounded great. Unfortunately it has turned out to be time wasting scam which I'm hoping the AFCA can sort out since I've now been waiting 3 days for the morons at Citibank to fix their mistake. How it can take this long to check the email offer sent from their own email address is a mystery. Not sure how it can take longer than 30 seconds to check an em...Read more
ail but repeated requests to sort this out gets same response telling me how valuable customers are & they are sorry for inconvenience caused. It would have cost them more in wasted staff time than the interest would have been if I don't pay my balance off before due date so really don't understand why they are doing this. I'm also lodging a complaint with the ACCC about their false, misleading & deceptive conduct. Looked at Coles Financial Services FB page & does not appear to be one happy customer probably because they are so deceitful & dishonest.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect Credit card for me
Very simple card to use. I can easily check online my statements and current uses. Anytime, I've had queries they are very quick in helping me sort these out. Satisfied with getting flybuy points and very easy to use the points. No fees for this card, which suits me fine, as I basically use it for the convenience. You also get offered a free insurance.

What a nightmare.....
I applied for this credit card, and then was asked to upload a number of documents. I then uploaded these documents and kept getting emails saying I required more documents but the online system would not allow me to upload the required documents. I then called the call centre and after 30 mins and 3 different people I finally got an email address to send through documents. I then get an email saying that my application wouldn't be progressing. Then 4 weeks later I get a call (please note that they constantly called my mobile and office phone in a 5 min period till I answered - and were not willing to leave a message). Only to be told that they still needed furhter documents from me. What a waste of time and overly harassing.

Good travel/online shopping credit card option
This is a good, low-fee rewards credit card option if you regularly shop at Coles. The best feature of this credit card is that they don't charge international transaction fees on overseas purchases, which makes it a great travel credit card.

Excellent rewards
I was frustrated with the low rewards on offer with our Westpac visa and did a search and comparison online to find the best rewards card - and this was the one! Rewards in Coles vouchers are great and accumulate quickly. I am diligent at paying off my card so I cannot speak to the interest rate but I make sure I put 95% of our spending on this card in order to get the Coles voucher. Instant $10 any shop over $10 at Coles when you swipe Flybuys card (also on the back of the coles mastercard s you don't need 2 cards) or can redeem larger amounts...Read more
. There are also holidays and other things you can redeem on the Flybuys site but I was just after supermarket money! They do hassle with offers via text, and encourage to convert your balance to a loan but I'm not going there. Was easy to set up account; online banking is straight forward. I did read reviews saying the statements were confusing but I haven't found that. I haven't had to use customer service via phone, but I have had to cancel by card online when I lost my purse and this was straight forward.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Suits my lifestyle
This Credit Card suits my lifestyle because I pay it off fully each month. The points I earn, I use to get $10 off at a Coles supermarket each shop or trade Flybuy points to use at Kmart, Target, Liquorland or Coles itself That way my beer is free and the wife can't complain ! The Security of the Email statements (needs password to view) and SMS on Online purchases give confidence.

As a LONG time customer with one of these cards, I've noticed dramatic changes since Citibank joined. For those who have switched to another credit card company...any good recommendations? I liked this one for the Flybuys.

If you are as crazy as I am gathering Flyby points, then I would stick to the Coles card 100% and reap as many points as possible. If you want to swap, I just became a Bank Australia customer and opened a number of accounts after closing all my CBA ones. They have a very good VISA card with no annual fee and only 12.39% and the same on cash advances. Check them out. We’re really happy with them.
@ Dave, thanks.... from all the reviews I've read, even closing your Coles Mastercard account is difficult! I might stick with them a bit longer and hope they pick up their game!! In the meantime, I'll check out Bank Australia.
