Resolution of financial administration error
I would like to thank the staff at the CUA Support and Operations centre for the handling of unpaid contributions. In particular Christine Tavita and her Operations management, Ms Karen Coventry.
I believe that Christine went all out and was able to resolve this outstanding debt for me, certainly the outcome was favourable for our family.
Should we ever have another issue with our Health insurance (this is the first in 15 years) I would certainly want to deal with this team again.

Misleading and Unprofessional
Policy is horrible value. Was enticed to switch based on misleading product fact sheet in their website. Turns out they paid out less for extras than our previous insurer when covered at the same level. They also don't offer any (up to) 10% discount for youth, as recommended by the gov to make it more affordable. They were so slow in replying to me email complaints, and sometimes did not bother replying at all. They were very one sided when dealing with my complaint, offering no apology or goodwill, leaving my family severely in debt. I will never, ever deal with CUA or any of their products ever again.

It is wonderful to be treated with such consideration.
Dom (Dominique) ended up saving us a small fortune by simply being honest when we were looking at upgrading our policy. She pointed out that we probably didnt need such extensive cover. I love dealing with people of such integrity. She could have chosen to take our money without qualm. I cannot recommend this fund highly enough.

Update on different aspects of our private health insurance
I spoke with Kaleish regarding different aspects of our EXTRAS part of our Health Insurance. She provided me with information regarding amounts remaining for the year as well as information required by CUA Health as to my taking out a Weight Watchers membership and said you required my doctor to complete a form which she forwarded to me. I noticed that the next question asks was I offered a reward for submitting this review and I have never been offered anything from CUA Health since joining around 1991 or 1992. I am quite aware that a family member was give 'a month's free membership'. Sadly, we have not been offered anything!!!

Hi Lynette, Thank you for the 5 star review. We are pleased to let you know that CUA do offer a 4% Loyalty discount on health insurance policies for members that have their direct debit coming out of a CUA bank account.

The CSO understood what wa required and took steps to provide me with the information I requested. If it makes it to the poatal with every thing I asked for only then can I give a 100% score..

Mandarin speaking lady does not know CUA health product as well and inpatient to me . I called 1300499260 on 7:30 am and 8:30 am yesterday morning and always receive voice massage by calling outside of business hour at 8:30 am not 6:30 am . Terrible quality of call
connection to call centre was very poor quality, sound for recorded voice announcement (RVA) was very distorted as was music on hold whilst waiting. Call centre agent was very hard to hear

Excellent Customer service and competitive price too!
I've just got off the phone for the third time today with CUA health due to my slow understanding (I have been working pretty hard this week, absolutely exhausted). And Aaron from Brisbane has been patient with me. Best customer service ever. Very competitive price too. My friend is with BUPA and paying more for the exact same policy cover. Highly recommended CUA health. I'm from WA and if you do your research, they have a pretty good hospital coverage rate too.

Excellent Customer Service
I am a long term CUA Health member but felt it was time to review my policy. I received excellent Customer Service from Robert. I had already researched the products on line and Robert explained my options with details of each policy cover, adding extra information not covered in the product description. Robert suggested an option that could best suit my needs. Robert was thoughtful, informative and very patient with my incessant questions. Robert saved me a stack of money.
I have always felt very reassured by the service CUA has given over the years and today has been another good example of why I stay with them.

CABG Relief
I was most relieved physically and mentally following recent heart surgery. Physically because my heart is functioning normally again. Mentally because CUA fully covered my costs, what a relief as some expenses were as high as $4000.00/day.

Customer Service at its best!
We have just signed up as a family and couldn’t be happier with our policy. The Sign up process was easy and the customer service we received was simply amazing! We had numerous follow up calls and had all of our questions answered comprehensively.

I got injured accidentally about 8 months ago, in my right knee. At that time my GP asked me to get MRI done, which was covered by medicare. Now after 8 months of physio i can still feel pain in my knee. So im thinking of getting another MRI done, before i show it to a specialist. My question is; as this time my MRI is not covered by medicare will cua help me with payment for MRI ?

Unfortunately I am not able to respond. Check with your doctor/surgeon and get item numbers and check with Medicare as well as CUA Health. Thats what I would do myself before proceeding.
