We just got this based on an Italian friend's recommendation. He was correct! It makes absolutely brilliant espresso coffee despite its slim size. Its made from stainless steel with a plastic water tank at the back. The extractions are just beautiful with this. Its dialed in just right to get the best crema and is very easy to use. We are delighted with this machine and would recommend it to anyone. Very happy with it

They say good things come in small packages and that's true for our baby DeLonghi coffee machine.
Took me a while to get the hang of it but now I reckon I can make a pretty mean cup of coffee with this. I really like that it's manual and not just another dumb pod machine. It means I can buy whichever coffee I want to try. The trick is all in the tamping down.
It takes up virtually no space in the kitchen. The only negatives are that you have to fill it up with water often due to the small size and sometimes it drips a bit.
Would recommend this model. Its good.

Makes delicious coffee comparable with store bought.
Easy to clean with the few parts that do get dirty coming off easily to be cleaned.

Compact to keep out on your kitchen bentchtop. Looks even better with the matching delonghi coffee grinder.

We had a cheap $50 pod machine that made pretty bad coffee so I decided to buy a proper machine for my husband for Christmas. He absolutely loves how easy it is to use this. Clean up is also minimal and simple. I bought coffee grounds for him from cafes and coffee shops and he reckons it tastes as good as cafe standards.

We got this as a Christmas present.

The taste of the coffee is great although I can't really taste the difference.

I didn't really look at the design but it's simple to use for a non-regular coffee drinker like me.

Cleaning is easy as pie and the machine is user friendly for a non-techie like myself.

Love the design of the machine - a bit different to most machines at similar price points. Makes generally good coffee and is easy to clean. Basket feels a little plasticy (Would prefer it to be heavier) and you need to hold the machine when locking the basket in to avoid the whole machine moving. Overall quite pleased with this product.

I love this coffee machine! It is used every day (sometimes multiple times per day) and has never faulted. It took a little bit of practice knowing how firmly the ground beans needed to be pressed in order to get a good espresso flow but everything else is so simple. There are only 3 buttons so if you have never used a coffee machine before this is a fantastic first option. I run each component through hot soapy water each day after use and the machine will let you know when a descale needs to be done. There are very clear instructions on this and it only needs to be performed every few months so not an issue. A must buy!

I bought this machine last year. I was tossing between this and the capsule machine. But I’m glad I went with this one. It’s perfectly sized and doesn’t make too much noises. The steps are simple and it’s easy to clean too. I would recommend it to all coffee lovers.

This machine is amazing for its size. With good beans this machine produces coffee as good as commercial machines costing thousands. I would’ve liked a few more settings, say exact water temperature, or coffee extraction time. However at under $300 I didn’t expect nearly as much as I got. The milk frother works great, the milk textures perfectly. All round great machine, if you know what you’re doing.

After using several Nespresso machines for over 10 years decided to purchase this machine as my 2 children started drinking coffee and Pods were becoming very expensive. I wanted a small reliable machine that made great coffee. The coffee made is far better tasting than Nespresso and at a fraction of the cost. I can also determine the strength of coffee. My daughters have commented that they don't need to buy coffee out as this one makes great tasting coffee. Note I haven't used the frothing attachment as I use a separate Breville milk frother.

We recently bought this when our fav machine blew up after 12 years. We are really impressed at the quality of the coffee it makes for such a small machine. It takes up very little bench space, looks good and is light enough to lift and clean around it. There was a special when we bought it and we got a coffee grinder thrown in for the price - fabulous. We buy good quality coffee hence we make a good cup every time. It froths the milk really well, actually better than the last Italian machine. WE are really happy

Love the coffee smell in the morning. The aroma fills the kitchen. Makes a pro shot with great taste. Makes a good creme too, just don't pack the coffee in tight, spoon in loosely. Looks good & Doesn't take up a lot of room on the bench. Easy to clean. I have recommended this one to friends.
