Easy to use
I have bought this machine from Aldi. It works pretty good and I do make coffee every morning and afternoon. I'm happy with it. Good price and very competitive with rival products.
Purchased in October 2021.

Great
Great and compact coffee machine that makes a delicious coffee. Easy to use. However as expected there are a few dishes and bits to clean up afterwards. Would still recommend to friends and family

Perfect for small spaces and tight budgets
I have owned the original magnifica s and several Nespresso machines over the years but this is my favourite - mainly for looks, noise and size. It looks and feel solid, it’s quick to start up and the coffee measure is perfect along with the tamper end. Fine for low output like me. It heats up and dispenses the coffee almost silently and even the milk frothing isn’t that noisy, perfect for early morning coffees when people are asleep! The water dispenser is LOUD and slow - just boil the kettle, there doesn’t seem to be any distinction between f...Read more
roth milk, heat milk and hot water which is hard to grasp, it’s all the same mark! The water comes out hot enough for most people unless you’re a tea officiando it’s good for emergencies! The pump for the frother/water dispenser makes a slight noise but it’s very manageable. It really takes up very little room and makes coffee really quick. Now I am stuck at home this is stopping me going out when I get my cappuccino craving.Purchased in March 2021 at Myer for $199.00.

Recommended at $249
Good small home machine. If you can buy this coffee machine on special for $249 or less, and you dont need to make more than 4 cups a day, then I recommend. Nothing I have experienced can compete at this price point and its a DeLonghi so build quality is superior to Chinese cheap.
Anything over this price and you are best to look at the Breville at $600. Just make sure you buy a breville that is NOT made in China!
I say 4 cups because the water container is smaller in comparison and the build is not really suited to more use than this.
Purchased in September 2021 at Amazon for $249.00.

A basic coffee machine
Bought a Delonghi Dedica EC 685 model about a year ago and found it easy to use and makes good consistent expresso coffee. Functions are basic and the temperature has only one setting but generally found the machine value for money.
Purchased in January 2021.

JUNK!
After owning other coffee machines, and could always get a decent cup of coffee I decided to buy a delonghi dedica. I have only used it 4 times and have thrown it in the cupboard in total frustration. The coffee (a double shot)comes out weak and not very hot, I always have to put the coffee in the microwave,I think this machine is absolute rubbish.
Purchased in December 2021 at JB Hifi Home for $299.00.

It was a good machine, till it wasn't
In six months this machine has played silly buggers six times, did a full descale each time, unscrewed the filters etc, even soaked them in napisan overnight, water still wont pump through the basket. We use filtered rainwater. I'm ready to get a refund on this and never go near DeLonghi again... With so much trouble with the Scultura, now this, I'm a bit disappointed. And of course your machine only craps itself when you are craving your morning cup o' Joe...

DeLonghi Dedica
The quality of the coffee produced by this coffee machine is very good, and I am satisfied that the quality of the coffee produced is consistent. There is a need to improve the temperature of the coffee produced by this coffee machine. It is not possible to keep the temperature of the coffee produced every time consistent, and there will be deviations, which will lead to differences in taste.

First stop every morning
This has been a very fast friendship, me and the dedica. Once I figured it quirks out it quickly became a reliable source of strong caffeine which means its the first place I go in the house before I have even rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. Its (mostly) metal construction is good quality and the results are top notch. If you like good coffee, you will love this.

Pretty, easy, great
I love this machine. It is easy to use, aesthetically appealing and fits well in our kitchen.
My kids think it makes best baby coffees & I'd have to agree.
Coffee taste is consistent, temperature is consistent, easy to clean and refill etc.
Would definitely recommend - coffee is life

No fuss, just delicious coffee
I really enjoy this machine - it's simple and understated yet it makes absolutely delicious coffee. Temperature and pressure are very well tuned in this machine. Once you get the hang of it you can pull really good shots with very little effort. Its stylish and minimalist on the bench too, which I also like. All Round, a very decent compact coffee machine.

Proper Crema-rich Shots
This really brings the goods! It produces truly excellent proper crema on the shots. Combine this with some fresh locally roasted beans and you are in coffee lover's paradise. Its a small machine but made mostly from quality metal with plastic used here and there (drip tray, water tank). I suggest you take the time to read up on how to use this properly . Its very rewording machine but you will need to know just HOW to use it.

Delightful coffee machine
We bought this after carefully reading the different review including those here - everyone seems to like this model and I must say I agree! Its very smart looking and makes a wonderful coffee. It took a little time to get accustomed to the method with this machine but the results are "cafe standard" once you get there. I am still working on perfecting the milk wand - its a little harder as we have soy. Overall I am delighted with this machine,

Great but never got a manual
We bought this from appliances online but they sent it out without an instruction book so it made it super hard to find out how to use it but after some time we got the hang of it and loads of people also videos on how to use it online. Makes super good coffee as long as you know how to set it up

Good coffee machine with reasonable price tag
I love the appearance of the coffee machine, look moderate and fancy. The material is good. It makes good espresso shot and milk. Yet, it is a little bit challenging to make good milk at first, so you need to practice in order to make good milk. It is easy to use and maintain.

Tiny Size - Results Like The Very Best Machines
I am delighted with this little coffee machine. It packs king size abilities into a tiny size (it is only six inches wide). I am able to get near perfect extractions with good crema from a variety of beans. It does have a double walled basket, so that might affect the crema but I have read that you can purchase single walled ones on eBay without much fuss. The milk wand works well although is not fall-over easy. It takes a little skill and practice to get spot on. (they all do really). I look forward to keeping this machine for many years.

Outstanding Lattes and Esspressos
We are knocked out by this little coffee maker. We are getting way better results than we should for its small size. We are talking cafe quality coffee here! I will also add my 2c and say that you should carefully read the manual to use this properly as there are some hidden features. The steam wand with the milk works very well but like I said, read the manual! Great machine very happy!

Top Notch Espresso Machine
Wife and I are delighted with this machine. My first 5 star review! Dont let the compact size fool you, this machine does the best espresso extractions and froths milk beautifully! It hard to see what else you could improve other than a larger water tank but then the whole machine would be bigger. Its easy to use and clean and really does do cafe type results just like all the review says. It is just one great little coffee machine.

Amazing Quality Coffee
We chose this model because of all the stellar reviews and yep, I can see what all the buzz is about. It really does make a mean cup of coffee and very simple to operate too. I am surprised something as small as this can develop enough pressure to get such good results but the proof is in the pudding! Lovely coffees with excellent crema. I have been to many cafes that are not as good as this. We are really happy with this machine and hopefully it will remain reliable for many years to come.

Questions & Answers

Hello. After preparing an espresso (the one with a double load), I am trying to prepare hot milk. The steam light is on (not blinking). After I turn the handle, a machine gives a weak steam for a few seconds, then stops. So I manage to get steam only after a few attempts (cooling a boiler, running hot water, turning a machine on/off). What may be wrong? Oh, it also helps to get steam, if I turn the handle counter-clockwise till the end and hold it in that position by hand. Is it supposed to work like that?
1 answer
The steam works when you turn the handle anti clockwise. Try closing it by turning it clockwise until the handle is horizontal. Press the steam light button until it stops blinking and then turn anti clockwise
