our item is on hold because it is unnecessary.
I have lots of problems with DHL before mostly its because they were so delayed and also this time!!. My shipment is on hold at the local facility for 3 business days while the item was supposed to deliver yesterday. I called the customer service and they said It is on hold because of the high volume of the delivery. So basically they said my shipment is not important enough for them to have to hold my item. Yes! They can't make it while the other company can. Great job DHL! I wish I could never deal with you again. Next time when I order onlin...Read more
e, I will check if they use DHL as a courier. If they use DHL, I won't bother. Ps. I saw they are charging extra money for the sender due to the COVID-19 situation. But why bother if the shipment is still late. It is a very unethical company.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Lies from both driver and customer service
I recently ordered a very important item from overseas which all seemed to be going well, my parcel came from
The uk to Australia and was out for delivery within a week of ordering. Everything seemed to be going smoothly and thus far I was happy with the service. On the day of delivery I was in all day due to covid-19 lockdown laws, I had also left instructions for my parcel to be left in a safe location as there may have been times I would have been unable to answer the door due to my work. At 6:11pm I received a text to say that a delivery ha...Read more
d been attempted but no one was home, this was very confusing to me as I had left instructions for my parcel to be left in a secure location if there was no response from the buzzer. So quite clearly the driver had worked past 6pm and wanted to go home rather than deliver my important parcel. I then phone up and speak with someone in customer service who was very polite and apologetic and appeared to be doing everything she could to resolve my issue and promised me she had arranged for re-delivery the following morning and also encouraged me to call back the next day to confirm that the parcel was en route. I did as advised and called back in. To my shock the advisor I had spoken with had not actioned any of this and my parcel was sat in the depot awaiting further instruction. I have no idea how any company can operate at this level of incompetence and would urge anyone to think twice before using them for any important deliveries.

Excellents
This the second time i have had a delivery from DHL and there tracking system is amazing.
It is a pity Aussie post doesn't learn about tracking systems, maybe DHL should teach them.
Many thanks for your excellent service.

One of the few reliable Couriers
Many are blaming the increased volume for delays during these times, however a guarantee is a guarantee and it seems DHL is one of the few couriers that can be relied upon.

Unsatisfied Service
I paid extra $50 aud for door to door service and that guy ran away after ring my apartment bell, I found his vans parked on the other street and asked him why ran away and not go upstairs to receive my package. He blame me I should find him not he find me. Terrible customer service and I wasted extra mask and gloves on this ridiculous service also waste my 15 mins to get down stairs.
I already paid this for extra $100 to avoid going out and I am totally upset. Not worth to choose this company and service.
Never use DHL express again, go for FEDEX, UPS or even Australia Post have better service

They've sent me the same email template 3 times.
UPDATE 30th April 2020: Package finally came through.
Customer service is non-existent. Asked several times for them to get back to me regarding a package that hasn't had it status updated since 3rd of April, and they kept sending me the same email template telling me to contact my original supplier in order to launch an investigation into the matter (which I already tried to do and is evidently illogical seeing as it should be DHL's responsibility to keep track of the package since it was placed in their "care").
Funny how they have time to...Read more
write out fake reviews on a website (check out exhibit "Glenn" down there making 4 "reviews" on the same day at 17th of April), but can't spare 1 minute typing up a human response as some sort of acknowledgement that they care about the people who are meant to be keeping them in business. I understand if there are delays due to this recent pandemic, however I have made and received orders within a shorter time frame from other suppliers with no issues (bear in mind this original order was made on 13th March). How a company continues to operate in this manner bewilders me completely.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Terrible - Air freight
Hi we booked a contained from China to Australia, Melbourne. A the same time we used DHL to air freight some product in. The container on a ship - went faster than DHL - which is meant to be in a plane. Now i am convinced DHL is not air freighting - they are using COVID 19 to pretend to fly, but actually shipping. Dodgy as these boys.

Die waiting for "express" post
Have a package on the way, been sitting in Melbourne with no updates for the past 48 hours, now being told it will be trucked over not flown, and have to wait another 72 hours. Don't bother with express, not worth the money with this company. Worse than Australia post, not even sure how that is possible...

Satisfied Customer
I have found DHL to be a reliable international courier for my spirtswear that I ship from Bangkok to Qld. My business works on just in time delivery, and I find DHL better than FEDEX, UPS and Airasaia for on time, and no cost surprise, delivery.

The worst company ever
>> Im very dissatisfied with the service, I've sent parcel to my family overseas and and have paid 250 aud to send it to them, customs in Poland charged them 230 aud to receive the parcel.
>> The total value or the parcel is 80%less of what we have been charged in fees, what makes this paces is more experience then it's value.
>> Before I sent the parcel, dhl stuff in Brisbane didn't inform me of any import duty or taxes, I was assuming it was included in the price, plus I have purchased an additional insurance, that was completely useless, I ...Read more

DHL are Hopeless
DHL lost my parcel once again, as always, they always lose parcels or steal them from people because they're poor and can't afford to purchase their own stuff.
DHL stands for Dick Hockey League. This is how they do their deliveries.

Poor courier service and customer service
Second time this has occurred when the courier did not know how to operate my apartment doorbell and decided to leave without calling on my mobile. Arranged for a re-delivery as not safe to be traveling around now. Called the customer service and wish to inform them to put a note to the courier to call my mobile if unable to ring my doorbell and also checked on the company's policy of ringing the customers when they deliver or unable to deliver if unable to operate the doorbell. However customer service rep Brian, was snappy and told me to list...Read more
en to him while I tried to explain to him. Then when i wished to explained to him further, he cut me off by saying that I have already explained to him but I have not done so. So I told him to listen to me first and he started to criticize of my attitude. Finally when I asked for his name and his location, he gave me a vague answer and when I asked him the 2nd time, he replied hastily and then ended with "thank you for calling DHL and have a nice day" and hung up before I could say anything.Similar opinion? Absolutely hopeless, incompetent, lost/stolen parcel
After my eBay purchase in February, I checked the tracker to see that it has made it here in Perth. But apparently was not delivered. I kept trying to contact the company but kept getting put on hold for an hour or longer. As no one wanted to deal with it. I tried to contact them through email, but all they could tell me was that they were "investigating". Well that's not good enough!
These guys have a lot to answer for. From what the customer representative told me, there was a particular flight between Perth and Singapore where my package wa...Read more
s supposedly lost/stolen. Now this is a goddamn disgrace. They really need to investigate their staff because they have been stealing things and quite frankly that is a joke. What a pathetic company these guys are! And I will NOT be getting anything delivered with DHL EVER in future again and will let everyone know how crappy this company have been. Worst service in the world: lost parcels, and customer service cannot read or write
I sent parcel a parcel with DHL in February which was collected in due time.
Their tracking shows that the parcel was collected but next day they had a "problem" with the delivery address.
The parcel cannot be found now.
When contacted the customer service, they claim that the parcel was never collected. When pointed out that your own tracking shows the opposite, answer: "Well, that is wrong. We wont refund anything"
Check the attached tracking. DHL customer service: "No, nobody collected the parcel". I know that it is hard to find people who can read and write but this is ridiculous!
Needless to say, I will recover my money now via Small Claims Court. Will never ever again use these clowns!

Shipment's not being received at all
Shipment's not being received at all. But DHL shows on their website that it's delivered and signed by myself. I have been waiting for all day long but no one show. How can I sign? Do you catch a doll to sign? Call in to ask my shipment. Answers are always "under investigation". The worst delivery company I've ever met. I will give no star or negative if it's permitted.

courier service not trustworthy
I have a parcel delivered to my company address in the morning under my private name and I was sit behind the reception all the time. Warehouse colleague walked in and shared some staff with everybody! I said I should have a DHL parcel with the spreading staff . But I was told DHL driver did pass the parcel and said it's for warehouse manager ( not me, company name is even not mentioned). After checked the connote details, we confirmed it's my private staff. I can't use it any more due to hygiene consideration. I feel lucky I haven't got chance to receive any confidential document delivered by this driver yet.
not a trust worthy courier

Lost a tracked parcel
They managed to lose a tracked package to an affiliated parcel locker. I never recieved it. After an 'exhaustive investigation' they found that it was scanned as arriving at the delivery location, and then vanished. Their final conclusion is that it is "missing". Case closed. Important documents. They never called me to provide updates to their investigation, and never a real explanation of how it went missing.

Dont bother
Use a different courier. You are better off walking across the world and delivering the package yourself. My be a bit quicker and cost a bit less. I was told all the wrong info from the start they have no idea what they’re doing.
