Dyson V6 Original

It works well so far. It is much more powerful than my previous philip cordless vacuum cleaner. It would be better if it has a larger battery. The battery can only work for one room area. I have to recharge it again and again. Also, it is not as easy to clean up the inside dust as advertised.

I was genuinely so surprised to see how bad this product was, given the rave reviews and high price.

The head compartment of this vacuum heats up so much that when I'm vacuuming on a hot summer's day, it gave me blisters. Not even a lie.

Plus, I couldn't help but get irritated that the vacuum clogs up very easily in every possible compartment, and every 5-6 vacuums I'd have to pull the ENTIRE thing apart.

I had some issue with the wand, Was broken and wasn't clear how it happened just gave them a call no question sent me a replacement straight away!
also, my son is allergic to dust(eczema),
this has a great filter

The best in its league and I have used other brands of vacuum cleaners but this one is unmatched - it's light, easy access, use on all floors - couldn't do without it!

Dyson brand vacuum cleaners are the best I’ve ever had. Decided to get the V6 cordless and it’s amazing. Use it on my tiled floors as well as carpets. It is light and easy to carry upstairs to do bedrooms. Easy to use as you don’t have to deal with cords getting tangled and the heavy weight of the traditional type vacuum cleaners. It deep cleans carpets and leaves a very soft feeling under your feet. The different attachments and ease of use is great to vacuum the interior of your motor vehicle. Once you buy a Dyson you won’t look back

Our floors are a mixture of tiles, laminate and carpet. We were looking for something light but powerful that also had a powered head. The V6 fitted our price range and seemed to fit the bill. The dyson V6 has met these criteria very well indeed. It is amazing how much it picks up which only highlights its biggest draw back. A very small waste chamber. This means frequent emptying. Not a big sacrifice for its price and ease of use. Dyson has been very prompt in supplying filters when needed. Highly recommended over two other brands we bought beforehand

This machine is incredible, I use it everywhere, on the tiles, carpet, car and bathroom it's so easy to grab and clean up in a instant it's lightweight and so easy to store not taking up much room, Otis a product that I can't be without and use everyday !

This model under-performed traditional Dyson products I have had in the past but still wasn't bad by any means, was tried on both carpet and tiles with little difference in performance

A really convenient vacuum, easy to clean and easy to take out and use, so it encourages you to vacuum more often. No more worrying about wires. Lifetime warranty is also a plus.

Works well for first 2 months . Short term product, as the spinning pick up just stops working, the battery turns bad and lasts a maximum of 4 minutes, and the low power mode is useless and sucks nothing up . After complaining, got shipped the wrong part twice. Completely overpriced product with no attempt at making something that lasts more than a couple of months

The dyson vacuum cleaners are definitely a game changer product. The motor looks good, no more hassle of cords and easy to store. The only real issue i have with it is the weight proportion. Since the motor is close to the handle, my hands keep hurting after using it for 10 minutes. I wish the motor was towards the lower part of the handle or near the suction tubes like the other cordless product. Also the price is a little steep.

Dyson have a made a solid Vac that sucks up better than my Vax bagless cyclonic corded Vac. It is easy to clean out and is able to take a fair bit of abuse. Ideal for cars furniture and even cobwebs. The V6 has now been replaced by the V7,V8 and now V10.

We bought the Dyson v6 from the good guys a few years ago on sale for the quick vacuums of kids crumbs/mess between big vacuums and we have loved it ever since. We even stopped using the big miele vacuum as often because the Dyson did the trick. We use it on carpet, tiles and also woodfloors with no issues. Works well on all of them, best on carpet. Easy to empty and clean plus It will vacuum an entire small house if your quick haha. I’d definitely recommend one!

I purchased this vacuum in November and love it. I already own a Dyson DC54 that I have had for years and also love. This is so easy to use and gives a better clean that I was expecting. I use it on my carpets, tiles and floorboards. It works so well. It is so easy to just to grab and use without dragging cords and hoses. I also have a ducted vacuum system that was installed when we built our house. I never use it any more - the clean from my Dysons is far superior.

Love this vacuum cleanser! It’s so portable and easy to use. I have younger children so I need something that is light and easy to take out for a quick vacuum. My vacuum stopped working after 2 and a half years and after contacting Dyson, they sent me a new battery out of goodwill. Such great customer service! My vacuum now works perfectly. I only wish the suction was slightly stronger and the battery life slightly longer. I also bought the V10 after being so impressed with the V6, and although it is a lot more powerful, I find myself reaching for the V6 more often as it’s so much lighter.

This is an amazing piece of equipment, and the best affordable cyclonic vacuum cleaner ever, and is the fifth Dyson appliance we have bought, including a pro hairdryer and fan. Their customer service is second to none with great phone support and after sales service, can't recommend them highly enough.

With moderate use, the filter clogs up easily and simply washing it doesn't help in cleaning it. It really needs a deep clean or a replacement filter. Not really 'lifetime' at all. Battery does not hold charge as well as it use to, and seems to lose its capacity quicker than a similar LG stickvax we have. Replacement battery is expensive.

I use this on my tiled floor that also has a large carpet rug. So quick and easy to use as I will give the floor a quick vacuum every day with no hassle. Its also very light and easy to clean. Love my Dyson and will be getting another when needed.
