Brand new Ninetendo switch doesn’t work

I just received my brand new Nintendo switch from the ebgame, but it doesn’t work at all. really really disappointed. I hope you closing down soon. How can you sent a faulty product to your customer.

Only reason im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because eb games has been very good in the past. I ordered a copy of 'in stock' Animal Crossing and the initial shipping was pretty quick however I received a different game. Emailed customer service with a 2 week delay in reply they sent me a label to send the game back. No refund of initial shipping or a discount for the inconvenience. Very poor customer service im still waiting for the game 4 weeks after my initial 'in stock' purchase. It seems they are running on skeleton staff or something and im sure that there would be plenty of people looking for a job and willing to work for them if they needed help fulfilling demand. Very disappointing for a company I have purchased from for years.

My niece purchased 2 games on line in October (a little bit of old news), and still to this day one has never arrived. I rang head office, plus the store in Melbourne where it was to be sent from and they never had an order placed, even though she had a receipt for her purchase. We were just told to keep on ringing, supplied them with all the info but still nothing. All this for a $12 dollar game (Fishing Master), would have been cheaper to purchase it new.... So Not Good Enough....

I ordered a copy of a Nintendo 3DS game and it came with the wrong game. EBGames never offered for a refund, instead of asking I send back wrong game.

I used ‘click and collect’ (isolation is a serious business!) - it was easy, the communication on when I could pick up the product was prompt, and the transaction was safe. Will buy again!

Bought 4 t-shirts and couldn't be happier

Bought 4 t-shirts online due to greater selection. They arrived before the date given. My favourite is through Fallout Nuka Cola t-shirt. I have cut out the neck lines, trimmed the arms and waist to make then look more edgy and wear them over long sleeved tops that really make them pop. Vibrant and left of centre. I think I'll get the many moods of Mike Myers next lol.

Paid the $15 for postage and still think I got a good deal.

Great service, but everything was broken, even when it said "refurbished"

Ordered a refurbished Nintendo switch online, came in good time, however, later i found out one of the joy-con was broken, got fixed for free, and all was well and good, about 2 weeks later, i tried out the dock for the first time.
Found out it was broken too. It wasnt charging the switch like it was supposed to and refused to connect to the tv, even with all the nintendo cords.
Would not recommend buying "refurbished" products.

Got absolutely gouged on shipping watch out

Ordered a $25 xbox game second hand for my kids, but got absolutely gouged on shipping costs. The ETA on the parcel was messaged pretty clearly, but I don't recall ever agreeing to pay 60% on top of the game cost to get it posted. Absolutely sucks.

This is the point where I despise EB Games

Every time I buy something from EB it’s almost immediately dodgy. My most recent purchase was a WD 2TB passport for my PS4. Within a week I had problems. Mostly the external hardrive being “disconnected and needing repairing”...I always make sure to be careful turning and unplugging anything ps4 to avoid corruption so this should not have been a problem. Now all the games installed on it are completely inaccessible as the device does not even show up. It’s possible the cord needs replacing but why should I need to replace parts on something I just bought?

Warning Others of Terrible Service

I am just writing this to warn others that eb games is unreliable and virtually impossible to get in cont at with. I placed an order on December 16th that was meant to be delivered on December 23rd. After it did not arrive and i had received no correspondence by email or telephone i made numerous attempts to contact them however never managed to get through even after waiting on hold for 40+ minutes. I heard nothing from them until 28th December when I was informed the item I ordered was out of stock.

Didn't honour my order although i paid upfront

After seeing their promotion and checking the stock availability i ordered my xbox one with two controllers. Payment was successful and i got email confirmation as well. After 24 hours they send me another email that they are out of stock now and i should apply for refund. Upon calling and checking the same store i was told to pay extra if i want second controller or just take the refund after four business days. Due to this my kids missed out all the X'mas fun and excitement.
I tried to contact their facebook team via private message but no one cared to respond.
I would never recommend buying anything from their online store. Its a scam and will only cause you stress and grief.

Very unhappy with the poor service at EB games! I was sent the incorrect game when purchasing online. They then would not post the correct one to me but instead told me I had to return it in person to the store which is a 5 hour round trip for me!! They made the error sending the wrong game but expected me to be out of pocket to travel to the store. Will never purchase from them again!!

Order missing a game.

I ordered three pre-owned wii u games and 2 copies of a brand new game during the black friday sale. The order arrived missing one copy of the new game which I was charged for.

I have sent 3 emails to them since without any reply. I have also tried to contact them through facebook without any luck yet. I'm happy with the pre owned games but annoyed my order was packed incorrectly. I understand that mistakes happen but when they do you need to at least reply to your customers and resolve the issue.

Frequently order from the online store, mostly pre-orders and special editions, sometimes loots which I never had a problem. Pre-orders always arrive on time if not, it's early, and deliveries always in great condition, with tracking and notifications.
