    Was good

    published

I was happy with the performance however over time I noticed that it wasn’t grabbing things on the ground. More often I would need to use a dust pan. Battery life also not the best even if plugged in over night. Overall was not satisfied with vacuum and brought another brand

    Loved it at first

    published

However after 6 months it started to lose its battery charge and instead of lasting 10 mins or more was only lasting 2 or 3 and after 18 months I had to throw it away and as it was $269 feel this is too expensive for the convenience. Lithium battery is the only way to go though 18v or more is a must

Good vacuum cleaner with sufficient battery life

    published

Yes it isn't as good as the ones you get for Dyson, but for the price you're paying for, I think it's worth the compromise. Good suction and sufficient battery life for the whole unit, and the cordless function makes it a lot easier to manoeuvre around the housing unit.

    Just stops working!

    published

I liked it at first. It was light weight and has pretty good suction for just a daily cleaning between cleaning with a large vacuum on vinyl tile flooring. However, now it can only run for a few seconds and then shuts off entirely! I have purchased a new cord and base thinking that it would help, but sadly, it was just money wasted! My mother has one that works perfectly and loves. I had previously thought that mine was just a "lemon" but with the outstanding amount of reviews claiming the same problems, I don't think so. I wish that I had kept my old dirt devil when I received this one!

Won't run.Probably due to battery charging problems. I've checked that power is getting to the remov

Very happy with it WHEN IT IS WORKING. Has failed after very limited period of use.Trouble is that now it starts but runs for only a couple of seconds. Possible that battery has residual charge.
PS Had an earlier model whose battery failed after a reasonable period. Made the mistake of ordering a replacement battery pack for about $100. Required the skills of a watchmaker plus others to install and eventually I just gave up.. Hard to believe that the company would sell such a pack to other than authorised service agents.

    Buy and you'll be happy

    published

Wow!what a surprise. This was bought as an extra so that I didn't have to get out the larger cleaner for a quick small job. To my amazement this picked up some dog's hair I did not know was there. Being able to take the smaller hand vac from the larger machine I was able to do windowsills easily. The battery charge lasted heaps longer than I expected which meant an extra area was done before needing a recharge. The hand held piece is great for the car cleaning. I could not be happier and so are the three friends who have purchased their own vac.Easy to handle on both carpet and tile floors. Try one to prove to yourself that what I have passed on is totally true

Useful for small jobs Poor Battery Life

    published

Pros: The unit is fine for light cleaning jobs particularly on tiles and timber floors and can handle low pile rugs. The built-in light helps for dimly lit areas. Suction was okay with both Hi and low suction settings.

Cons: Its fairly noisy. Doesn't stand on its own so needs to be held or propped against something when unattended. Battery life was unfortunately the problem as it made it just past 2 years of light to medium use. replace

    Battery terrible

    published

As with others, this vacuum was great but this is my second one in 5 years and both times the battery died about 1-2yrs after purchase. The battery is hard wired and not replaceable. The same has happened to my mother in laws ergorapido. I was on here to see if the newer models had improved this issue, but it would appear that they are now less reliable. Will go and purchase another brand... Disappointing...

I brought the machine after comparing various models and brands.
However, after a year of use, the machine can only works less than 2 mins for each charge. I was on trip all the time, that means during the 1 year of usage, I have half of the time not home. I can't understand how possible a machine with such a brand could works so badly...I feel really angry...

so good i threw out broom & dustpan

    published

i have a large area of vinyl flooring that i had to constantly sweep and also 2 bathrooms with tiles. i found this cleaner perfect for both jobs, i can take it out and sweep kitchen/ family room floors in half the time and it picks up everything, and it is fabulous in the bathroom picking up hair. so simple to empty and recharge and i love the convenience of the small dustbuster. would not go back to a broom again. LOVE IT!!

We have had ours for 18 months and the battery is not charging properly. How long is it supposed to last before it needs replacing. We were very happy with it but now it only does a few minutes of cleaning. It is cleaned and washed regularly so nothing to do with clogged up areas. Thanks Pam

You should contact Electrolux. I understand that these appliances have a 2 year Manufacturers Warranty - if that is the case after you speak to Electrolux then I think you can take it back to the retailer who sold it to you...and the sooner you do this the better.

Can you provide more instruction on how to mount the charging station to a wall? The manual simply states that the unit can be mounted on the wall, but does not provide any further instructions or mounting hardware/components.

Greetings Tracy. It seems another question has somehow been directed to my home email by "Product Review". I am just a user as are you, but I may be able to help with your question. I don't have my Ergorapido with me at the moment to give you first hand advice as it is in for warranty repair, but I do note page 17 of my manual (Middle picture) shows the wall mounting unit is a removable part of the floor charging station and can be separated to mount on a wall using plastic wall plugs and screws readily available from hardware stores. Hope that helps in some small way...robox1
