I have a QuickSmark front loader washing machine. As of this morning when I switch it on the Drum Clean and Pause/Start indicates flash. Pushing any button causes a beeping . I cannot find any reference to this fault condition in any of the Fisher & Paykel web-sites. Are you able to help me?

Check if the lock is on (red light). Just press the button for a few seconds to disable the lock. Amy below suggested this, it solved my problem that was pretty much like yours.

Do NOT remove hinge from the machine!

Not often - about 2 a year.
It can be done, just takes a lot of patience (and second pair of hands helps).

The spring has disconnected from the drum. Where do the ends hook on to? Please. :)

If less than 2 years old, call for technician.
Else hooks in the same way the spring on the other side does.
Look for marks in hole on drum as to how it fits.

We have accidentally selected Keylock and Drum Clean. It won't start, won't reset by turning the power off at the machine nor the power point, either immediately or leaving it for an hour. The dial rotation won't change the setting. How do we clear it?

Hi Henry. Have you tried the trouble shoot booklet that came with the manual?
When plugged in, hold down the key lock button and it should become unlocked.
If not, call a washing machine repairer or fisher and paykel customer service for assistance.
Press the keylock for few second and it will work

I have just done a drum clean and cleaned out the filter of my front loader washing Machine. The filter was really hart to get back in the machine, it looked like there was some scaling in there. It could be if you have used one button too much sometimes the computer inside will start flashing or stop working . I always change my settings each week. Maybe restart the machine.
How do I restart the machine?
It is because the Keylock to unlock it do as below:
Keylock
This option enables you to deactivate the buttons on the display panel, except for the POWER
and KEYLOCK buttons. This prevents accidental button presses.
To turn Keylock mode ON or OFF, when the washer is powered on:
■■ Touch and hold the KEYLOCK button for 2 seconds.
Note: when activated, the light above the KEYLOCK button is illuminated.
If Keylock mode is activated and the machine is powered off:
■■ To turn your washer on, press the POWER button, then touch and hold the KEYLOCK button for
two seconds. Select your wash cycle, options and then START / PAUSE to start the cycle.

Hi on the last spin cycle of the wash my machine decided to dance over the floor when I opened the door the rubber ring has all pulled out of shape but still all attached . Big question is it fixable or do buy another machine no happy as it is only 2 yrs old? Thanks

Fixable.
Call F&P for a technician.
Once fixed it will work correctly and not play up again.
If 2 yrs old, try getting it repaired under "goodwill"

Warranty is 2 years.
It could be coming out the door area because its the lowest point on the machine.

Detergent dispenser (overflowing out the front of the machine)
Hole in drain hose under machine.
Turn off, tilt back, remove base plate and look for evidence of where water is coming from.
No this is wrong the door seal is damaged

I have gone to do a load of washing and when I turn on power it comes up flashing drum clean. I've taken out all the clothes added bicarbonate to the deteargent section and vinegar to the drum but every time I turn on and try to start machine it just keeps flashing red drum clean and start pause button! Hi there, sorry cant help you because I have not had this happen to my machine. Every 3 months I descale my washing machine with a product called Power of 4 which is made for both washing machines & dish washers. I assume because I descale regularly my drum clean light does come on. I wish I could help you more. Kind regards Christine
