I would call it a “chilled” water dispenser rather than “iced”. Mine took a while to cool down - maybe a day? Its not freezing, just chilled. I don’t think there is any way of altering the temp at which it is dispensed. This is an area the design could be enhanced in future.

I have ice in the ice tray but it is not emptying out into the ice bucket, I can hear the motor turning it its just the ice that wont empty out

When the motor turns, the ice tray turns only 45 degrees instead of full 180.

So my fridge freezer has been making ice. Used a lot and was clumped at bottom. I took tray out and emptied it. Since I put it back in, it’s not made any ice. What should i do to correct this?

Switched on the SABBATH MODE this weekend and now switched mode off but the light on the front dispenser panel goes on then off and the 4 icons rotate all the time. The water does not dispense and the indicator lights on the inside panel continually rotate. Tried to set Sabbath Mode again and then turn it off but nothing helps. Please advise what I should do?

Yes my friend. I had the same problem but lucky now its fixed. I just recommend that u wash ur fridge with hot water from the outside. Then problem is fixed. History

I'm having to get the thermostat fixed every year in the water drain that drains down the back inside of freezer. It then drains water on the floor of freezer preventing draws from closing and leaking out onto the floor. My warranty has surpassed but I feel this is a manufacturing error. Otherwise I love my fridge freezer. Is anyone else having the same problem. I paid a lot of money to have a fantastic fridge/ freezer.....not happy.

Hi. I have a F& P refrigerator RF610ADUSX4 an with the ice maker on it is now pouring water into the ice container which freezers into a solid block.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi Gavin, usually this would be a service call. If no ice but water is instead coming into the icebox it could be a number of issues that would need to isolate (rule out) in order to ascertain root cause.
I take it your water dispenser is working?
I take it the filter has been recently changed?
I take it the freezer is 'freezing' as 'normal'? Have you tried up the freezing temp (from the front LCD panel you can adjust the coolness)
Process elimination of above before paying for a call out.
It could be a condenser issue; could be a seal issue; could be a whole raft of things.
If the ice box is filling up quickly with water then you've probably already turned off the water inflow tap - if not then do this ASAP as this may lead to other expensive problems.
Is this under warranty? I have to ask.... likely not - and you 'could' try and get F&P to cough up as this is a significant issue and if occurred recently Fair Trading "could" help.....

The gas pipes for the refrigerator are on the sides. The gas heats up to enable cooling inside the refrigerator and the compressor works hard on a new product to cool down quickly. Once temperature is reached you will find the compressor will cycle on and off as required and the heat on the sides of the refrigerator will not be as noticeable.

We purchased the RF610D two years ago, we haven't had any problems previously but in the last two months the ice maker ( in the tray of the freezer) does not make ice cubes, all we have is a slab of ice, no cubes. Can anyone assist?

Wet ice/ ice clumping possible causes
1 -Low water pressure.
2 -Filter blocked.
3 -Long freezer door openings
4 -High ambient temperature
5 -Ice bin left out of freezer compartment for a length of time
6 -Ice will stick together over time.
That is a tricky question! I don't know what the cause of it would be, but it sounds like a call to F&P. I know it costs a lot to get them out but it is too complicated for a handyman. The other alternative is to take the tray out and not use the ice function.

Hi! We just got our RF610A delivered yesterday and it's not cooling well enough (20 degrees in the fridge. 5 degrees in the freezer). We called F&P and they had no ideas. The earliest a serviceman can come is 4 days away. Does anyone have any ideas about what we could have done wrong (or neglected to do!) to get this thing operating correctly?

First of all, do you have the water despenser? If you do, have you set the feature of the fridge and freezer to the coldest set possible? If you have and the temp. is still not cold, then you have a problem. If you asked for my opinion before you bought the fridge, I would have said, go for a different brand.

It means your water filter needs changing! You need to buy a replacement cartridge and change the filter. Very easy to do.

Hi there I think Harvey Norman might be telling a few porkies. The chilled water from the water dispenser on the door should be approximately the same temperature as the inside of the fridge if the inside of your fridges 13 or 15° I would imagine all your food is going off there is obviously something wrong with the cooling side of it. Normally the fridge would run at a roundabout 4° and because the water is called by the fridge the water should be about the same temperature. I hope this helps.

I have replaced the cartridge water filter a F&P RF610A and now I am seeing a No Water Icon. The chilled water dispenser was working fine with the old cartridge, so I suspect in installing the new, air has blocked the line. The dispenser Lock is not activated, but holding a glass to the dispenser even for 4 or 5 minutes is not producing a water flow. The water is turned on and the inlet and outlet pipes to the cartridge have not been touched nor has the fridge been moved when changing the cartridge.
Any suggestions on how I might bleed the water inlet line?

If it has a pressure reducing valve normally fitted on the line before the filter this could be your problem or the electric solenoid valve is not opening properly or could be clogged with some foreign matter.
