Our Fisher & Paykel Fridge Freezer has fault code F2 on the screen,it beebs twice when the door is opened and the temperature is up around 10 degrees.Any clues on what could be the problem? thankyou Greg.

Possible heater problem.
Is there ice on rear panel of freezer?
If so, defrost heater stopped working or Controller faulty = call F&P 1300650590.

I have a RF610ADUX model- Ice and cold water not working and fridge seems to not getting cold-- with fault F31 showing. Cannot activate display with arrows etc(ie-- change temps) out of warranty- I'm in an isolated spot so will have to transport the fridge to the Perth city for repairs- but would like to avoid this??? Any help?

Have you tired turning the fridge off for a while and letting it reset? Other than that, I am not sure what to recommend other than getting it repaired. Sorry.

Water is not being pumped through to the Ice tray. The Ice tray is working fine how do I get the water to come through? The fridge is almost 10 years old.

Check water pressure.
Check water line for kinks/squashing.
Water filter may need replacing.

Have replaced water filter and the water is flowing out of the water dispenser just fine but not to the ice maker.

Just turned on our new fridge and the 3 lights on the water dispenser are on and no water comes out. The ice works but not the water and cannot turn off the lock. Any thoughts?

Water dispenser does not work.
Water supply turned off or not connected. - Turn water on. Press dispenser for 1 minute to remove trapped air from water line and to fill
the water system.
Supply line may be blocked.- On first installation there may be air in water system.- Check supply for kinks or leaks. To remove air, run a litre or a quart of water through the dispenser.
Filter may be blocked and need replacing.- Replace filter (
Dispenser Lock activated. - Hold down the lock button for 2 seconds.
Water frozen in tank. - Increase temperature to a warmer setting in fresh food compartment and freezer.

My fridge is about three years old and was working fine till about a week ago. The ice maker is making ice but later when i go to get ice it is all frozen together like it has melted but it hasn't. I am wondering if when the water is filling up the tray if its over filling?

When ice is not being used on a continual basis air passes over the ice which causes the
ice to dehydrate. When this occurs two things may happen:
1. the ice may form one large block of ice rather than staying as individual cubes.
2. Or the ice will slowly disappear.
When a large block if ice has formed the block will need to be removed to start the ice
making process again. Another reason for large blocks of ice in the ice container may be
due to water leaking from the tube onto the ice cubes

I have an F and P French door fridge with a freezer underneath. Can you tell why there's water leaking out the bottom now and again and how I fix it please? The fridge is nearly 12 months old.

Based on my experience I would be contacting F&P via their web site to get an authorised technician to come and have a look. If it's less that 12 months old it should be covered under warranty, but if you try to fix it yourself or get another technician (not authorised by F&P) to look at it, F&P will wipe their hands of any responsibility claiming you voided your warranty by using someone other than F&P. They won't care that their technician could take (as ours did) more than a week to do the work. If it's under warranty at least you should have that protection. Be prepared for them (F&P) to blame anything but their product to be the cause.

How do I get the two plastic side clips off the top slide drawer in the freezer so that I can remove the shelf?

The freezer bins and trays in this model are permanently fixed. They cannot be removed from
the freezer compartment. To clean simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth.

They need to pop out so the drawers can be removed to enable work to be done on ice maker/ evaporator/ FC fan etc
The clips are push in - grab them with a pair of good long nosed pliers and give a sharp tug - they will pop out.

How do I stop a continuous beep re and F20 error? I can't get a tech until 31/12/15. I was given instructions on Sabbath mode but doesn't appear to work

I have never had this problem. How old is the fridge? The only thing I can suggest is to contact F&P! It seems that there are a number of things that the fridges have going on and the research into the making of the fridge was not proper.

Our fridge when opening a door makes a beeping noises . A spanner comes up on display . How do I deal with this?

In the event a fault occurs the spanner icon appears on the front of the display and a
fault code will be displayed on the left in the FREEZER screen.
When the door is open the refrigerator fault alarm will sound. To silence this press any button
on the display.

Hi - I encountered a similar issue (cannot remember the code) and if the ice bucket in the freezer fills up then the alarm goes off everytime you open the doors. I hope this helps.

We complained about a musk odor and taste of water, our water dispenser RF-610 ADUX recently STOPPED dispensing water and making ice automatically after a week that the serviceman cleaned the water dispensing line with powdered chlorine solution. We called for check up again and was told that the water pump need to be replaced with pay. Is it a normal practice to clean the water pump with chlorine? I suspect that the pump might be corroded beacuse of the chlorine, is it possible? We were very careful with our ref and never had any major problem until now,it is less that 5 years old, and was told that the pump is not covered under their 1 year warranty and 5 year warranty on major parts and paints given upon purchase. Any comments and feedback is welcome.

Not sure about cleaning with chlorine - service tech should know what they're doing you'd hope. Haven't had any issues with water taste or temperature. I expect to replace the water filter cartridge in 12 months time - quite happy with our RF610 - though maybe our fridge is so new these issues are yet to surface. Fingers crossed...

What a great Sunday morning...got up to hear the fridge making a terrible noise....freezer goods defrosting, fridge not cold....like you ours is less than 5 years old....I'm not impressed! Will be ringing F and P first thing tomorrow morning.....I'm not in a good mood!!!! The warranty is worth nothing! Good luck with yours....no F and P stuff for me again!

I have a RF610 ADUX French door fridge! Could someone please tell me if they have an orange plastic insert inside the water nozzle at the water dispenser? Two people I know have the same fridge and they do not have that there! I called Fisher and Paykel customer service and asked them that simple question, they said they didn't know and I would need a service man out to tell me yes or no! I asked if I can take a photo and email them the photo! They said no you need a service man to have a look! Surely they make the product they should know if it should be there or not!!!! Tried to pass me over to a service man! Huffed and puffed like I was wasting there time! It's a simple question that isn't in the user guide manuel! Shocking customer service!!!!........

I hope you worked it out. I'm considering buying a F& P fridge but am put off by the bad service reviews. I similarly found customer service to be severely lacking when I recently had a problem with my F&P dishwasher! Disappointing. I think their strategy is to make the process as tedious and time consuming as possible so that the customer gives up and stops contacting. Very disappointing!

I have a Fisher & Paykel with french doors. The ICE MAKER since we have had it (3 yrs.) only makes CHIP ICE and then one solid block of ice in the bin is the result. Has anyone have any suggestions ? The water works fine. The water filter is changed at least once per year.

Hi Francis... Manual says that an Indicator icon will come up on screen when filter needs replacing.... Have not had an indicator after 4 years!! Recommend change if used regularly at least every 6 months.... Search eBay for replacements... Cheers Rex

Mine doesn't have a Tap with a line through it when the water is turned off. Is the lock on (icon of a lock with a water drip in the top right hand corner of the icon)? Have you contacted Fisher & Paykel?

We have looked through our manual and there isn't an icon that you have described with this fridge. Perhaps go to the Fisher & Paykel website & download the manual.
