I have bought this a while ago and have nothing but great use from it. Cleaning beautifully can use the quick wash which takes no time at all but cleans as well as the soak dial which runs for about 30 mins.

It gets the loads done

published

I use this washing machine for my general, workout and workwear clothing. I can get particularly dirty at work and this machine does the job perfectly to get them clean. The timing feature is great so you can go about your business and the washing be completed in a timely fashion. The machine has different settings and is easily adjustable and easy to use. As such, the machine handles my clothing well including delicates with a change of setting.

Washing results looks as good as new

published

Multi coloured wash, easy function set. Just turn the dial to set your required wash. You can even set it as your favourite. Add your detergent, close lid and off you go. Set cycle about 45 min. You can even set the spin speed. Washes clothes better than any other washer that I have had. My wash is now bright and white. This is my favourite by far.

Piece of crap

published

Suspension rods inadequate for the size of the machine, replaced by FnP once at 2yrs old. Now 5yr and same issue. No help from FnP just want more money to keep repairing. previously owned a 7.5kg FnP and it is still going strong washing loads twice the size our 8kg can handle without any issues. FnP stated it was out of warranty and tough crap. Never buying another and will continue to tell others about there poor product and customer service.
Shame you cant give zero stars

Did not last long 3 years only

published

Stopped working after 3 years. Washing only with cold water but hot or warm water does not work. Over priced significantly. Would not recommend to buy it . Very hard to operate

This is perfect

published

This is an excellent Washing machine and would recommend to anyone. It is compact and very quite and does a very good job of washing clothes from Work overalls to towels to sheets to delicate clothes. Controls are easy as all push button and spin drying is excellent as you can select a high 1100 rpm which leaves clothes almost dry. Also you can miss and mach on different cycles I.E hot/cold wash, as well as change cycles mid wash. Spin speeds etc. Only paid $1076 including installation and 5 yr warranty

Rarely finishes a cycle

published

Only owned for 1-2 years, but have had problem after problem. Constantly going out of balance, saying there are issues with the tap and not sucking water, saying there are suds when there are not, and not draining. Beeps and stops wash halfway through for no obvious reason. Have tried resetting. Had two blockages fixed by technician this year alone. When it actually works it does an ok job.

I absolutely hate this machine!!!

A wicked machine

published

I have had several f and p machines over the last 40 years but the wash smart delivered today has nothing good about except the styling.the so called safety features are nothing but a nuisance and the length of wash cycle is ridiculous. I hope the next model stays with the excellence features.have to keep pausing to change the program in any way. Wish I had repaired my old one
Quite cranky!!!!

What a load of rubbish

published

The first half a dozen times the machine was fine, doing general medium size loads of clothing it was great. Then tried to put a towel load on, 4 bath sheet size and it kick a hissy fit. In the end had to pull two out and put through my 5kg twin tub. What a waste of money this machine was $899. Have put up with dirty cloths, stop, starting, out of balance, not filling, emptying mid cycle for 7 years now and had enough. What a piece of junk. My 5kg $300 twin tub works better..

Great machine and size of bowl is awesome

published

No more laundry mats for blankets or bigger washes. Can do it all in one machine with no fuss, just put the load on and let it do it's thing. Very happy with the machine so far and can wash very large loads to small. Doesn't take long to do a wash, great on water and power. Washes very clean and great with delicates.

Better than the old Fisher & Paykel...

published

After 10 years our old F&P bit-the-dust. One thing my wife asked for was not to get another bottom rotor type as these just tangle up and tear the clothes! Bought the 7kg F&P with centre agitator from AppliancesOnLine (AOL) through EBAY as a 10% discount was available. AOL delivered and installed it and took away our old machine... something that HN told me would cost $80 extra! Anyway very happy with our purchase because we have no more tangled clothes and lint in the wash. It is also easier to use then old washer including doing a spin only cycle by pressing "Wash Advance" until the "Spin" LED lights up and then press "START".
