Front loader fail

I purchased a front loader washing machine 3 years ago, the machine has always been extremely noisy on the spin cycle and finally the bearing has fallen apart and destroyed the drum. The cost of repair outside of warranty is not worth it so now I'm forced to buy a whole new machine - and it won't be a fisher and Paykel ever again !

Very poor i.e., non existent contact.

Tried phoning company re information on a washing machine. Opted for phone back option. Four days later, nothing. Tried emailing company. Same result. I did find the information from other sources and decided to purchase the product. Hoping service is not required if this is the quality of interest in looking after potential customers. Not really surprised, as sadly, this seems to be a manifestation of the disdain manufacturers show these days.

My fridge freezer has started to have the enamel peel of it and rust marks are showing under the enamel. It is 4 years old. Rand F & P and they offered another door at a charge. The base had never been prepared properly before power coating it. Never buy F & P again. I thought it was a reputable company but since selling out to chinese it has gone down the gurgler. I now avoid chinese made appliances like the plague.

The worst service ever

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received from any company. I had to take a day off teaching to get our dishwasher serviced. The link they provided for the day didn't work, I called and they didn't call me back. Then the service man arrived sand didn't seem to know what was wrong. He replaced the rotor and then didn't check the machine was fixed. First rinse cycle the same problem occurred. Spent an hour waiting on the service phone line - finally gave up. Got online - no real solution there either Would not have even given it one star

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

As I write this review, I have been on the phone for 45 minutes (and still waiting) to initially report a fault in my side by side fridge freezer. One can only imagine how long it will take for a representative to inspect the fault, the warranty has almost run out while waiting on the phone!!!

Warranty claim on refrigerator has been a nightmare. The worst customer service ever!! No follow-up, no idea, no accountability. 5 hours spent on the phone and 6 weeks later and still no refrigerator. NEVER AGAIN!!

Garbage

Absolutely rubbish service. Washing machine is only 4 years old and has had to be fixed 3 times. Wait on hold for over 20 minutes. Wait weeks for a technician to come who then don't fix the problem and have a poor attitude. I will NEVER buy another Fisher & Paykel product EVER AGAIN!! Rubbish!!!

Thought I was purchasing a quality product with the brand Fisher & Paykel. Maybe years ago they were but not these days.Washing machine motherboard had to be replaced 3 months out of warranty which they wouldn't accept warranty anymore. $350 to repair . another year later and the balancing system has completely failed. $130 to have a service guy out to look at it to be told $400 to repair. NOT!
original cost of machine $900 + Repair $350 + Service call out $130. already up to $1380 with absolutely no trust that it wont fail again . Just purchased an Asko on the weekend.

Horrible service from F&P

New model top of the range integrated fridge has been replaced 3 times in 2 years!! Numerous problems. Latest is water leaking from bottom of fridge. Flooded the kitchen and had to turn mains water off to stop leaking.
Customer service is appalling. Average wait time is 1 hour and takes 2 days to get technician. No urgency in their response.
Technician booked in today doesnt show up!!! Now Im I hold again for another hour to speak to someone. 3 days and no resolution. F&P you cant offer premium products at premium prices and not back this up with customer service.
Check out your competitors. They do a much better job

Terrible Service ! Left for more than two weeks without a fridge

I have waited for over a week for a technician, when they arrived at my house to perform the servicing their truck couldn't fit in my garage nor in my drive way. The driver could not find parking in the street behind my house and now I have to wait another week for the servicing. The fridge was only bought 6 months ago and shouldnt need fixing ! Waited 1 hour in total on hold and being transfered to different staff, before problem was resolved.

Would not recommend this company to anyone !

Worst customer service ever

A pattern of poor service here - maybe time to listen Fisher and Paykel. Non existent customer service. Took over 2 weeks to respond to a simple question which I was told to email which I did and even then the response was get one of our technicians out to clip on a piece in my freezer which will take approximately 2 minutes maximum. Refused to provide a photo to show where it belongs so in can clip the part back in myself. This is amongst other poor service by this company. Its not just about the products but being able to back it up after purchasing the product thats equally important!

The Most Hideous Experience with an an appliance!

After a Westinghouse fridge that didn't miss a beat for 26 years - this fridge has had 2 major failures within 3 years. Currently the compressor has failed & we have been without a fridge for over a week with 30 plus temps & still NO word from F&P as to when it will be repaired. The misinformation, lack of communication & lack of care from F&P has been staggering! Will never purchase any F&P product ever again as the level of service & care has been abysmal.

Pointless and depressing customer service

Tried to book a service for a fridge with only a 2 year warranty and was given only one day with no options within the next month. I mentioned I wouldn't be there that day but it was advised to book it in anyway. I asked who do I call to change this appointment and was told it was the only one I could get and to keep it. I feel that customer service representative really didn't want to be working for Fisher & Paykel.

Worst Service Ever

Purchased a Washsmart washing machine in Jan 2022. By Sept 2022 the system had multiple problems. 3 call outs later (one month) Fisher and Paykel have agreed to replace the machine, no actions have been undertaken by the company to actually organise the replacement. During this review, I was on hold to Fisher and Paykel for 59mins with the only statement being that a replacement would take 8 business days despite having stock in the warehouse. Completely unacceptable.

you will have to keep calling them or call consumer affairs and let them know you are getting onto consumer affairs they will then take action.I had to call consumer affairs and they were excellent so try that

when you call fisher & Paykel tell them you have given them a week to get the problem fixed or you will contact consumer affairs I was told that they have to do think in a reasonable time at you expect and if they dont consumer affairs will take action Hope this helps

We have the Fisher Paykel DishDraw DD60 purchased October 2018. Over the course of the following 12 months, we had constant issues with the bottom draw starting automatically, often when the draw was empty. Four service calls later, the entire unit was replaced. So we have a brand new unit but we are still having issues with the bottom draw starting automatically. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi there, my issue is with their range hood that keep switching off. Their service centre is appalling. Very long waiting times, 45min Plus. We have just replaced it with another brand and is in the process of getting all Fisher & Paykel appliances out of our house. Never want to deal with them again.
