Get your goodies elsewhere
As an avid consumer of healthy food, I honestly would recommend that you go elsewhere. To start with, Mrs Flannery's is overpriced, and deceives its customers by claiming to be a "discount organic supermarket". It is absolutely nothing of the sort. The selection of products is poor, and they are consistently out of stock or low in stock. There obviously isn't a good stock turnaround either, as I have bought chocolates and crackers that I couldn't finish because they were old, discoloured or stale. I have consistently received terrible treatment...Read more
from cashiers who either couldn't care less or were openly rude. The prices are also consistently mislabelled, and on numerous occasions I have been charged much more at the counter than what the label stated. But no apologies from the staff for inconveniencing me, the customer - because "that's the price". A few years ago they used to do a 20% off store-wide one Saturday each month, and surprise surprise, the store would be practically empty on those Saturdays. My guess is they didn't restock anything for the weeks leading up to the discount Saturdays. Honestly, if you are serious about good health food and expect good customer service, vote with your feet and avoid this place. Unnecessarily expensive, bad customer service, deceptive marketing, stock not freshSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent variety of organic and "hard to find" foods.
Started shopping here about a month ago and I have found that not only do the fruit and vegetables last longer in my fridge, but also have much more flavour. They have a huge selection of groceries and I was surprised to find a lot of their prices are quite competitive to the organic products and produce in the major supermarkets.
Service is excellent, very helpful staff. Organic and GMO free food.

McDonalds of "health food"
In store 'Naturopaths' are students at best. Ridiculous amounts of products pushed as cures and some inappropriate. 'Organic' produce is just low grade fruit and veg sourced from Rocklea markets. Nothing is certified at Australian Gov. standard. Huge rip off chain. Shame.
Everything.

Terrible
Overall Mrs Flannery's was one of the most disappointing shopping experiences I have had lately. I expected it to be a medium sized store with a full complement of certified organic products, or at least as many as what the smaller health food store I have been shopping at has. What I got was a store perhaps twice the size but with nothing you would really want to buy. Bulk bins encourage a who cares attitude in retailers. Who knows how long the products have been sitting in there exposed to the environment and various grubby hands -the cash...Read more
iers (thats all they seemed to be) couldn't care less and certainly the consumer would have no idea. After my experience at the Gabba store I would not recommend Mrs Flannery's to anyone and I will not shop there again. They stock a wide range of legumes and grains They make a lot of claims about organic produce on their website but there is a limited amount of products that are organic and very few are labeled correctly. They stock most of their products in bulk bins that are very unhygienic, and when i got home from the store a big bug crawled out of one of my paper bags. The staff there were more interested in gossiping than serving me and I was overcharged by double for one item.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
